To answer a question:
Part switches and accessory adds are not what we are looking for in this competition. If there are people interested that specialize in this, then maybe that be be made into it's own division. Otherwise, this competition is a time for people to step up their game. Do more painting than normal, more sculpting than normal. Think outside the box, do something daring. If you have a crazy idea, try it.
And to clear up Axe's question/comment. One figure per match unless an individual match stip is made where multiple figures are to be made, such as a tag set. I gave Axe permission last time to make more than one figure in his matches, some didn't feel it was fair.

I would be interested in doing this in the cruiser division, depending on what the stops would be.

If you still need people for the IC division, I may be willing to be bumped up from Cruiser. I guess it really depends on what the difference is skill-level wise between the two divisions. I think I'd be ok for it, though.

no I believe what he means is just plain part switching and make that your custom
your welcome to do part swapping with painting and sculpting etc

Updated the list here. NickJ is right. Just swapping a torso or a head and calling it a custom for the competitions is not going to win you a match. You're free to mix and match whatever parts you need to to make your figure work, but I would ask that you please sculpt or paint anything necessary to make it work. I apologize, I've been very busy and haven't visited WF much lately. It's March 25th right now, how about Saturday June 2 due by 8pm CST. This gives everyone a couple months to make their figures. If we need to push that a week or two that's more than fine by me. Here's the list I have so far Cruiser - XMisterFavianX, Nick J, Switchblade Jables, Hellboy, Joejitsu22, Sin Cara, rocc242, Mcelroy, Apocalypse, Jayabidi, The Champ is Here IC - Stunner, Ren XO, IronLionTL, zaxary, Maskedsuperstarfan, Biohazard HWT - AxeHennig, Alakdan, Sandy, Gonzo, Joey Eches, Guster, I will send out PM's within the next day or so to confirm everybody who has posted response in this thread. The last Customania was a three stage event, however, we had more than 50% no shows the last time around. I think it might be better suited to just have this a one time show for now. If the interest is there and the participants actually participate, then maybe we can push this on to a couple more shows. There are a few people I placed in divisions that did not specify where they would like to be placed. If anybody that I placed wishes to be moved to a different division then that will not be a problem, esp since we have only a few interested in IC. As for stipulations, the last go around we did Era specific for each round. WCW 95-2000, WWF 1990-1995, ECW Original. We can go a similar route with that or as I set matches the customizers can pick an individual match stipulation. I don't like setting specific wrestler stipulations as it limits creativity, quality, and not everybody has the parts or money to acquire necessary materials. Good idea. This should get rolling now. The open-enrollment should close soon. Are people facing each other? Those brackets should be put together, then the stipulations can be set.
I think the stipulations should be challenging:
1. Any masked star never made
2. Manager/valet never made
3. nWo member never made
4. A star's less popular subsequent character (i.e. Gate's "Hole in One" Darsow)
5. A Painted face wrestler never made
I think the key for me is the "never made" factor. This eliminates the redundancy factor.

I really like some of TheAxeHennig's suggestions - in particular, the stips about masked wrestlers and secondary characters that were never made. Also, since I am a fan of the 70's and 80's "territory" era, I'm partial to old school characters as well (Mid South/UWF, Mid Atlantic, Memphis, etc.). I'm looking forward to this.

AxeHennig's stips 1,2, and 4 tickle my fancy.
Maybe we should just get a consensus on 1 or 2 stips and we all just create. Each division judged accordingly.

The key is focused stipulations that deter the typical Owen, Hardy, etc.
