It is expected that it won't be decided until the week of if Jim Ross will have any role in WrestleMania 28 according to F4Wonline.com.
The report states that it is believed The Undertaker requested Ross call his match again this year, but as always, the decision will come down to Vince McMahon himself.

I don't mind JR not calling the other matches but I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want him to call the Taker/HHH match.

JR seriously needs to call Rock/Cena and Taker/HHH III. Both matches will be classics and having JR call them would make them even better.
HBK vs Taker II was great but if JR had called it then it would have been 10X better.

I know that JR has essentially said that he doesn't really want to return to commentating full time, and I get that, but he's also made it pretty clear that he doesn't mind doing the occasional event.
JR should call Wrestlemania, plain and simple. Not just Taker/Triple H, all of it. Just his voice alone, once a year on a special night, will beef up the value of the event.

Jim Ross should do every Wrestlemania, and on a sidenote, Mean Gene should conduct half of the backstage segments.

If Taker requested it then it makes it seem like this really might be his last match. I legit LOL whenever I hear someone requesting Ross. It pisses all over Lawler and Cole and I love it. In 10 year, will anybody be requesting Lawler or Cole to call their last match? F*** NO! That's why Cole and Lawler suck and I dont really understand why their commentators on the company's main show when they don't work well, and nobody likes them anyway.

I have no problem with lawler it's Cole that makes me wanna put the TV on mute. He tries to get himself over more then the actual match.

I hope that Jim Ross is involved at Mania, won't seem right without him.
Huge matches will be made even grander with Ross's commentary.

Commentary is so different now. If you listen to the matches from the Attitude era, there was so much emotion in JR and Paul Heyman's voices. It sounded like they really cared. Now it sounds like script from the video games. It's so flat and lifeless. It really hurts the overall product.

They should just take audio from every Undertaker/Triple-H match J.R. has called and put pieces of them together to call a new match.

Makes it sound like it really might be Taker's last match. Maybe not though because he and Shawn wanted JR for Wrestlemania 26 and they did not get him  I'd say HHH and Taker wanted him to call their match last year and they got him so I'd say Taker wants JR to call his match every year. |
