Definitely would bring a lot more to the match. Like HHH said, they're the last two of a generation of wrestlers, and JR was there to call that entire generation. If this is the closing chapter on that generation of wrestling, JR should absolutely call the match, with King.

JR seriously needs to call Rock/Cena and Taker/HHH III. Both matches will be classics and having JR call them would make them even better. HBK vs Taker II was great but if JR had called it then it would have been 10X better. cant argue with this.great post. |

Not hating on him, but seriously, I thought WF hated Jim Ross. I can recall many threads in which many people stated their dislike for him.
On topic, as I have supported JR for years, I'd love to listen to him again, no matter what match.

How can we move forward in WWE though if we keep wanting Jim Ross to come back and do commentary for matches?? I rather NOT see Jim Ross do the commentary. He had his day, and he was some what good at it. Except for all the times he would screw up wrestler's names, and finish names too. I would rather see Josh Matthews and Matt Striker call every show and ppv event. I agree that they do have to move on at some point, but HHH and Undertaker are the only two left from HIS day. The Attitude Era species is nearly extinct. It is very doubtful that a match of this magnitude will ever happen again between legends from that era. JR needs to call this match. |

JR needs to be there. The casual fan that will be buying this PPV to watch The Rock vs John Cena will want JR's voice on the Match.

I hope JR can do it, he still has what it takes to call the biggest matches and this would be sweet if he pulls this off.
