We immediately cut to the WFWF CEO Xavier Pierce, who is sitting behind his desk in his office.
Xavier Pierce: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Now, before this show begins, I have an announcement to make. Before tonight’s show went on the air, I was informed that a very lucrative deal that I was working out with a former WFWF talent was signed. Now, you may be wondering who. Why? What do they want. Well, I am pleased to answer those questions, starting with the what they want. At IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE, this man wants to face Ace Bennett, one on one. Considering he currently has no match, I don’t see the issue. Why does he want him? Well, that man is here tonight, and has said that he would gladly explain that to all of you. As for who? Well…this man needs no real introduction. Ladies and gentlemen, tonight…give him the respect that he deserves. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back…Raider.
The feeds are cut back to the arena where the fireworks go boom shakalaka.
Matthew Werner: …
Matt Steel: …
Clearly, the announcers are stunned at this BOMBSHELL announcement, that RAIDER is back, and will be making his intentions for returning known TONIGHT. Tonight on the show, there’s the WFWF International Championship tournament semi-finals. Both teams in the WFWF Tag Team Championship match at IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE are in action, as are both men involved in the WFWF Championship match. The camera cuts back to the announcers…who seem to have gotten some of their bearings back.
Matthew Werner: …did he just say that Raider’s back?
Matt Steel: …I think so.
Matthew Werner: Well…is there even really a need to continue on with our bullsh*tting? Raider’s back…can anything really top that?
Matt Steel: Well…technically we DO have a time slot to fill.
Matthew Werner: That we do.
Matt Steel: Then I guess we had better fill it?
Matthew Werner: Well…umm…ok I guess. Umm…first up tonight we have both a debut and a returning match for one team and a final match to gain some momentum before their tag title shots for the other.
The lights dim and “Bullet with a Name” explodes over the speakers. A lone spotlight appears on stage and Drake Elias stands under it. People erupt in cheers at the sight of the debuting MMA prospect and as he walks to the ring the spotlight stays with him.
Keri Thames: The following contest is a tag team match up scheduled for one fall. First on his way to the ring, making his WFWF debut, weighing in at 265lbs and standing at 6'4 , "The Avatar" Drake Elias!
He smiles to the crowd as he slides into the ring. The reserved Hungarian simply raises a fist into the air before moving to the corner, waiting on the match to begin.
AJ's music hits, and fog surrounds the entrance area. The lights dim, and we quickly see the returning AJ King standing with his back to the audience with his arms out. When the first lyrics are spoken, AJ turns and gold sparks fall from the ceiling as he stays in his taunt. He continues to walk down the aisle, completely ignoring the fans. He thinks he's too good for them.
Keri Thames: And his partner, making his return to the WFWF, weighing 235lbs, AJ King!
When he steps onto the ring apron, he turns and does his taunt to the fans who respond with boos. He enters the ring and climbs to the top rope looking out into the crowd and bathing in their disapproval before jumping down and locking eyes with his mountain of a partner.
"This Is Extreme" by Harry & The Slashtones hits the speakers and Randel & Dave begin making their way down the entrance ramp.
Keri Thames: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 692lbs, Randel Benjamin & Dave Demento!
Matt Steel: Jesus, fat b*stards.
Matthew Werner: I want to disagree but………well I can't.
Randel grabs a chair from one of the members of the audience and crashes it into his own head, busting himself open. Dave wipes the blood from Randel's forehead and smears it onto his own chest.
Matt Steel: Well that has already put them at a disadvantage.
Matthew Werner: Yeah I don't really understand why you would do that before your match?
The two men slide into the ring and begin celebrating before the referee kicks things off by removing Dave Demento and Drakz Elias from the ring leaving AJ King and Randel Benjamin to start things off.
The bell rings and AJ King goes straight for dirty tactics booting Benjamin in the nuts but Benjamin laughs it off leaving King looking very worried and somewhat confused.
Matt Steel: What does that even mean?
Matthew Werner: I'm not entirely sure myself.
Randel grabs a hold of King and knocks him to the matt with a big elbow, which he follows with a standing elbow drop making the cover.
... 1 ...
Matt Steel: That would have been embarrassing if he hadn't kicked out.
Matthew Werner: I don't think any of our superstars would have stayed down from that Matt.
Of course King kicks out, but is dragged over to the opposing team's corner and the tag is made. Demento enters the ring and the two men begin throwing a barrage of blows with their hands and feet on King who crumples under the force. Drake remains calm on his side of the ring as now Demento crashes down on King with a big leg drop to the neck.
Matthew Werner: Ouch!
Matt Steel: Indeed.
Dave lifts AJ to his feet and attempts a suplex but King slips down the back and makes a break for his own corner. He tags in Drake, and Elias enters the ring, throwing his partner over the top rope, setting him on the apron and making a bee line straight for Demento.
Matthew Werner: Drake has just throw his partner out of the ring.
Matt Steel: Hell of a tag!
The sluggish Demento, far more used to hardcore rules looks on in fear as a man in peak physical condition charges toward him. Elias hits a huge jumping knee that puts Demento straight on his back and seems to have knocked him unconscious. Randel Benjamin moves himself under the top rope and into the ring but is immediately tossed over Drake's head as if he were a cruiserweight with a massive belly to belly suplex.
Matthew Werner: Oh my god, we've never seen anyone man-handle a close to 400lbs man like that!
Elias doesn't let up for a second and pulls Benjamin back to his feet, throwing him into the ropes and sending him over the top with a lariat that connects with an impact that has the entire front row cringing. King has now got back into the ring and attempts to take some form of revenge on his partner for being tossed aside. He strikes from behind but an adrenaline fuelled Elias doesn't even turn to face him, instead he jerks an elbow backward that nearly knocks King's teeth out, accidentally of course.
Matt Steel: Does that count as a tag as well?
Matthew Werner: I couldn’t tell you. I mean, AJ King’s a fighter for sure. But I would chalk this up to Elias just being so excited for his first match that he refuses to tag out. Call it being a hotshot, nervous, or just trying to prove something. King’s obviously lost his temper at his treatment though.
He drops to the ground hard and Elias continues his domination by helping Demento up to a standing base. Randel has already rolled back into the ring, chair in hand and races to aid his friend. Elias, moving with lightning speed, merely plants a huge kick into the poised chair, springing it back into Benjamin's face and putting him down. Demento runs toward Drake with a clothesline but Drake ducks, allowing Dave to bounce into the ropes and back straight into a huge spear. Drake Elias now running on a full head of steam stomps both of his feet simultaneously, throws his arms out and roars at the top of his voice, the fans going bat-sh*t crazy. He makes a cover.
... 1 ...
... 2 ...
... 3 ...
Matthew Werner: That was just unreal!
Matt Steel: Welcome to the WFWF Drake Elias! I think he may have just gotten the attention of the entire locker room.
Keri Thames: Here are your winners Drake Elias & AJ King!
Matt Steel: I think you'd be hard pressed to claim that as a victory for anyone other than Elias.
Matthew Werner: King is still grounded, I'm unsure if he hit a single move during that brief encounter. What an impact Drake Elias has just made.
Benjamin and Demento make a B-Line for the backstage area while Elias celebrates in the ring. Unbeknownst to him though, AJ King has finally gotten to his feet and makes his way to the center of the ring where he puts his hand on Elias's shoulder and spins him around, proving that he's not afraid to get in the dominant force's face. King, outraged by his treatment in the match, hollers some words towards Elias that required the censors to earn their pay. Elias just smiles, clearly not taking what King is saying seriously, as he’s on Cloud 9, getting the victory in his debut. However, just when the two of them are about to potentially come to blows, WFWF CEO Xavier Pierce comes out from behind the curtain, microphone in hand.
Xavier Pierce: Woah there now, slow your roles, gentlemen.
Elias steps aside and turns around to see Xavier Pierce on the stage.
Xavier Pierce: I'm getting sick and tired of people still thinking that this is the old regieme. I am not King Kraig, and I will not let my superstars run amuck, thinking that they have free reign over this company. Drake Elias, that was some pure garbage you just pulled in regard to the treatment you gave to your TAG TEAM PARTNER in that TAG TEAM match. You were put into a TAG TEAM match with AJ King to fully acclimate yourself to the WFWF. But your actions in that match were irreprehensible. Sure, you looked impressive against Benjamin and Demento, but what makes you think that you have the right to completely ignore the fact that you have a partner who was willing and clearly able to compete along side you? I know you’re new to this whole WFWF thing, but man…the word team’s universal man. I know you feel like you have something to prove, but don’t ignore the fact that you have a partner to give you some assistance.
Elias stares down Pierce, clearly not amused about being singled out. AJ King smirks.
Xavier Pierce: And AJ King. You were brought back to the WFWF because of your potential. And because you are thought of as one of the most promising male competitors that we've had here for years. But frankly, all of that flash and flair you lay claim to wasn't present in that match. Be that male competitor that you lay claim to be, don't let someone push you around like that, especially some new hotshot like Elias. Take some initiative, defend yourself. But don't come up behind people and try to pick fights. Do it face to face, man to man. Elias deserves an ass whooping for his actions, but don't go about it in a rather feminine way by attacking someone from behind.
AJ King has frustration clearly written in his face, as this time, it's Elias who is smirking.
Xavier Pierce: Since taking over the WFWF, I've been trying to clean up the mess that King Kraig left behind. And one of those things that need cleaned up...well, putting it frankly, it's the attitudes of you superstars. You all think you're high and mighty, and you are clearly incapable of showing any kind of humility. I'm going to change that by making an example of you two.
The crowd is liking where this is going it seems.
Xavier Pierce: At IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE, Cam Nitta and Richard Wilkes will be facing off for the vacant WFWF National Championship. Now, in my effort to literally beat some humility into you newer guys, from now on, the WFWF National Championship will be defended every single show. I'm going to teach you all to respect and value this company and the opportunities that it is giving you, and that you cannot, should not and will not take anything for granted here.
The crowd grows louder.
Xavier Pierce: Therefore, at IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE, the two of you will face off, and the winner will be the first person to challenge the victor of Cam Nitta and Richard Wilkes.
The crowd is very excited.
Xavier Pierce: Oh, I'm not finished yet, as there's another aspect that I haven't discussed yet. AJ King, now you have no chance for any cheap shots. No one's back will be turned. And Drake Elias, your pride is admirable, but it could have just lead to your downfall. Because now, instead of at least having someone to fall back on should you need it in a tag match, you will have to contest with two different individuals at once, with there being no tag rules. That's right, this match will actually be a triple threat match. The third combatant will be someone who exemplifies all of these things that I've been talking about. He's not going to back down from a fight, and he'll take out his frustrations on someone head on. But he's also humble enough that his pride will not cloud his judgment and put him into a predicament that could ultimately be his downfall. After all, he already has quite the resume.
King and Elias look at each other and then back at Pierce.
Xavier Pierce: In his two years with the company, he's had countless main events. He's had countless championship matches. He was a part of one of the most dominating stables in WFWF history, The Revelation. Not to mention, he's already won the championship that the three of you will be vying for a chance to win twice.
King and Elias look puzzled as they continue to stare at Xavier Pierce, but the fans have clearly caught on, screaming the key word in this superstars catchphrase.
Xavier Pierce: And he's even here right now, just to prove his dedication to this company and to teaching you two a thing or two about what it means to be a WFWF roster member. Come on out.
The arena falls to black, and the fans are flashing their cameras and cell phones and chanting that one word that is synonymous with this superstar. "BOOM" by P.O.D. blasts through the arena as fireworks on the stage shoot off as BOOM comes through the PA System and the lights rise once more, only to show the one and only Jon O'Deeves coming out from behind the curtain. The crowd goes ballistic, shouting JOD at the former WFWF National Champion, making his long awaited return to the WFWF.
Matthew Werner: HOLY SH*T. O'DEEVES IS BACK.
Matt Steel: Talk about surprises, man. This one was kept under wraps tighter than...something that's tight. I, for one, for sure thought that Valorie Evans and Luke McCarthy killed him when Evans beat him for the title a couple of years ago.
Matthew Werner: Well, considering Evans used her Christo to essentially squeeze all oxygen from his head...the potential was there.
Matt Steel: For sure. But man, he's not been heard from for years now. I have to say, seeing someone of his caliber back here in the WFWF could be a breath of fresh air, and just made IT'S SUPER EFECTIVE that much more interesting. We have three totally different styles. Elias is clearly a rugged powerhouse. AJ King is a natural high flyer, and O'Deeves is a brilliant technician. Add in three of the biggest egos I've ever seen...Xavier Pierce just made a money match for real bro.
O'Deeves is standing at the edge of the stage, pointing at both men in the ring, smirking, as we cut to a commercial after seeing these three in a very intense staredown.

And we’re back, and this time, with feeling.
Matthew Werner: Well, as you all have heard earlier in the show, it was announced that Ace Bennett will go up against Raider in his return match at IT’S SUPPER EFFECTIVE!
Matt Steel: I cannot wait for this match, Matthew. It’s going to be great to see Raider back in a WFWF ring!
Matthew Werner: I agree with you on that, and I have just received word that Stacy Grey is standing by backstage with his opponent, Ace Bennett, to get his reaction!
We cut to the back where the ever-so-beautiful Stacy Grey has caught up to Ace Bennett outside of the locker room, microphone in hand.
Stacy Grey: Ace, you just competed in a grueling match out there against Philip Schneider. And before that, news broke that you’d be going against another WFWF Hall of Famer, this time a returning Raider, at IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE! You haven’t had the best track record as of late, what are your thoughts on the match?
Ace Bennett: My thoughts, Stacy? (He cracks a smile, though he is obviously not happy) My road so far has been full of highs and lows. One week I’m up, the next I’m down. But each and every week I am back here, back on my feet, ready for the next challenge. I’ve faced Hall of Famers before and won, so I am feeling pretty good about this. I am not too familiar with Raider other than the fact that I know he has been gone for a long time and that works to my advantage.
Stacy Grey: Ace, many people think this match could be your last chance to break though to the next level. After starting out strong here in the WFWF, you have struggled a lot in the past few weeks and haven’t had any noteworthy wins. What are we going to see different this time that around? Will we see the Ace Bennett that beat Trace Demon? Does that Ace still exist?
Her words turn to needles and stick in Ace’s skin. His smile disappears and he gets in Stacy’s face and looks right into her eyes.
Ace Bennett: Well, you see, sweetheart…
Ace freezes midsentence. His words are gone, lost somewhere in the air. His eyes move from Stacy and peer behind her, he is in awe. Stacy turns around slowly and she sees him too. He has on his trademark white racer jacket and black aviator sunglasses. She is almost in shock to see Raider standing there; he wasn’t advertised to be here tonight. She goes to speak but Raider gives her a smile and motions for the microphone, which she hastily hands over. Ace still can’t believe what he is seeing.
Raider: FINALLY…
Raider takes his aviators off and hangs them from his jacket as a massive pop is heard from the crowd. He continues.
Raider: You know what… I’m not going to do that shtick anymore, it’s been played out. But damn, it feels GREAT to be back!
He turns his attention to Stacy as the crowd is heard chanting his name.
Raider: Hey sexy, how you doing? Want to get something to eat after the show? There is a place right outside the arena that sells hot dogs… Hot, fresh, and a little salty. (He looks at his crotch and right back to her) It looks like that’s just want you need.
Raider is basking in the moment. Stacy is blushing and nodding like it’s her job (well, it kind of is) and Ace doesn’t look too thrilled. Raider turns his attention to Ace.
Raider: In all seriousness, I just want to take a minute and explain why I came here tonight. First, I want to wish you the best of luck in our match, Ace. I got the call the other day from Pierce telling me that he wanted me to face you in my return match and I just wanted to say I’m honored. You have got some balls, kid, to come out here each and every night, win or lose, and keep your head held high. You have come close to getting a shot at the biggest prize in the business and I am sure you will get another one. I see the fire in your eyes. You are hungry, but you seem to have gone astray in the past few weeks. I believe you can do a lot better than what we have seen recently. Hell, I believe we haven’t even seen the best of Ace Bennett yet.
And I just want to make this clear, right here, right now. I am not here to worry about streaks… 7-0… 17-0… who gives a rat’s ass. I did that my first go-round here. This time is different though… This time I’m here to bring justice and do whatever it takes to restore order in the WFWF. This is going to be an all out war. Some battles will be won, some will be lost. But just remember, the further you fall the stronger you get because down there… At the bottom… There is nothing left but darkness. You go off of instinct and learn to live with it. You carry it on your shoulders and when you are knocked down you let it remind you that you need to get back up. I’m here to make changes and will not be satisfied until it happens.
Ace, You are a warrior, but you are alone. Like any good army, you need backup. I have watched the footage and seen you struggle with Michael Kyzer and his cronies. They are just too much for you. They are too much for any one man. But you see that’s why I am here, standing before you and all of the WFWF. I am here to band together with guys like you, who want to achieve greatness and are on the cusp of it, but are being held down by the tyrant that is Kyzer. It’s time we get this war underway.
Raider pauses for a second as Ace takes it all in. Stacy just stares back and forth between the two men. Raider steps closer to Ace, their eyes are locked.
Raider: Ace, whatever happens between us, after IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE, I want to put the match aside and join forces for the greater good of the WFWF. Whatd’ya say, Ace?
Raider flips the microphone, the handle facing Ace, and waits for his answer. Ace grabs the microphone.
Ace Bennett: You know what Raider, a lot has changed around here since you’ve been gone. You just think you can strut in and claim your place as this savior for the WFWF, yet you haven’t even had a single match since coming back? Then you come to me, and ask me for your help? How do I know you won’t just turn around and stab me in the back? I’ve been on quite the path lately, and I’m not afraid to say that my winnings ways have escaped me. I’m going to be a bit weary about anyone like you coming up to me and claiming to be my buddy.
Ace pauses, collecting his thoughts for a moment before continuing.
Ace Bennett: With that all said, I can tell that you know what you have with me. I want what is best for this company, and what is best for myself. And you know what? With Michael Kyzer running around here thinking he runs the place, that isn’t what’s best, not for me nor the company. I’m glad I’m not the only one around here that sees this anymore. You know what, you got yourself a deal. I think we would make one hell of a team.
Ace drops the microphone. The two men shake hands and then go face to face. Raider keeps a stern look on his face as Ace smirks. The crowd is heard going nuts. Stacy looks like she is about to have an orgasm, her hands flapping back and forth like a high school cheerleader, in the background.
There is a bunch of static before finally a flicker of light. All that is visible is a dimly lit room there is a figure pacing back and forth. The way the lighting is we can only see everything below his shoulders. By the sounds of things this is a basement of some sort as water can occasionally be heard dripping, concrete walls surrounding the person with pipes running every which way. The individual appears to be well dressed from what we can see as he is wearing a tailored pin stripe suit. Close up shots of the mans hand reveal a fairly pricey watch on the wrist and a huge gold ring on his left hand. A gold chain from a pocket watch hangs out of his jacket pocket as well. Occasionally the individual dips down just enough to reveal that he has about shoulder length dark hair and given the rugged shape of his jaw indicates that he's male. He has a wry smile on his face as he continues to walk back and forth rubbing his hands together, snapping them every once in a while. Finally the man stops his pacing and looks straight ahead, wry smile still intact. He places something on the ground in front of him, his hair drooping in front of him so as to still conceal his full identity. Standing straight up he flashes a hand sign, his pinky and ring finger down while his middle, index and thumb are up spaced out. It seems to be more of a wave or salute that this individual does. The man finally breaks his silence.
Man: Hook... In... Mouth...
The individual once again turns around as his ominous three word sentence echos off the concrete walls. A click is heard that sounds like a door being unlocked as the bright light from the outside floods the room. The sudden light after being in the dark for so long over exposes the camera allowing the man to flee from this basement without a good solid glimpse of who it was however the item the man placed on the floor may be a calling card of some sort. A black flag with two red grungy looking wings. The basement door closes and once again there is darkness. The sound of water dripping continues as the light flickers off.
Matthew Werner: Well, I’m not quite sure how we can follow up that BLOCKBUSTER announcement by Xavier Pierce. But that creepy ass vignette certainly was an interesting way to attempt it.
Matt Steel: Yeah….that was freaking crazy. I really have no clue what to say to that. But the show must go on as they say, and what better way than the next match on the card?
Matthew Werner: Well, that seems appropriate.
Matt Steel: Yes, yes it does.
Matthew Werner: And in this next match, we have the potential for a bloodbath, and it’s not because of who is facing who.
Matt Steel: Right, Matthew. It’s about who everyone’s teaming with. On one side we have Cam Nitta and Richard Wilkes who have been, since last week, dropping bombs towards the other. No one quite knows what Wilkes’ problem with Nitta is, but Nitta’s not one to back down from a challenge, and now these two will be facing off at IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE for the WFWF National Championship. But tonight, they must team together to face quite the formidable duo.
Matthew Werner: That’s right. On the other side of the fence we have Ripp Jackson and Thunder who, after last week, were made into a tag team by order of WFWF CEO Xavier Pierce. Due to Jackson’s sudden burst onto the scene and Thunder being…well…one of the greatest wrestlers in history, Pierce decided that these two teaming up would only bolster the ratings as they team up at IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE against Randel Benjamin and Dave Demento, who has had some strong words for the WFWF CEO since he took the reigns a few shows back. But that tag team match is also for the WFWF Tag Team Championships, which were stripped by Xavier Pierce after the former champions, Alex Sean and DGX, never got around going to Pierce to say that they were interested in remaining in the WFWF, as he instructed all roster members who were under King Kraig to do.
Matt Steel: Yep. But the problem is, these two are complete polar opposites when it comes to background and personality. Ripp Jackson is the fresh, clean new superstar with a world of promise ahead of him. Maybe he’s a bit happy-go-lucky, but he can take care of business. However, Thunder is, as I said, a polar opposite. Many have questioned over the last few months how many more miles Thunder’s legs may really have. He’s the longest tenured superstar in WFWF history, and while he has done just about everything that there is to do in the WFWF, and done it in questionable fashion might I add, one has to wonder how much more the man everyone in the WFWF loves to hate has left in the tank.
Matthew Werner: For sure. That feud with Shawn Malakai broke Thunder down pretty bad, to the point where his one victory over Shawn Malakai at Before the Devil Knows You’re There and a victory the week before against Oscar Conrad Davidson were the only victory Thunder has had in almost a year. This is clearly taking a toll on his psyche, and Jackson might not want to get too close.
The match began with Thunder and Nitta. Thunder, being the veteran, took control early with a series of headlocks and other holds. Nitta had managed to escape one of the holds though and tag out to Wilkes, who seemed to be playing along at the time. Wilkes came into the ring and let loose on Thunder, who clearly underestimated the ability of Richard Wilkes. Wilkes had a couple of quick pin attempts, but Thunder managed to tag in Jackson who went to work on Wilkes. Wilkes eventually went for a tag, but Nitta jumped off of the apron. Wilkes, infuriated, screamed at Nitta. In the meantime, Jackson had tagged in Thunder, who turned Wilkes around and dropped him with the Thunder and Lightning for the victory.
Keri Thames: Here are your winners, Ripp Jackson and Thunder.
Cam slides into the ring following the match. He stares at Wilkes, who is rising on one knee. Cam stares at him and acts as if he is going to leave the ring. However, he turns around just before he leaves and sees Wilkes beginning to stand, doubled over. Cam eyes widen and he runs at Wilkes and gives him a C4. Cam slides outside the ring and asks for a mic and grabs a chair. Cam saunters back into the ring and looks at Wilkes and acts like he is going to hit Wilkes with the chair, but suddenly backs off. Instead, he sets up the chair in the corner and grabs the microphone.
Cam Nitta: Wilkes, believe me, you got more problems than you can imagine. It wasn’t enough that you could just run in and attack me, thinking that I would just lie down and say, “Okay, buddy, that’s fine.” Wilkes, some advice, if you wanted to be friends, try talking first. But then, Wilkes, after trying to injure me, you decide to spam my cell phone day in and day out. I heard one of your messages, then blocked your number. Wilkes, you and I, maybe, just maybe, could have been good. But then you attacked me. Wilkes, believe me, you wouldn’t even make it to IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE if I wanted you to not make it. But, right now I’m in my “seduced” state, as my psychologist calls it. So, right now, I won’t hurt you, Richard Wilkes. But, at IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE, there will be no guarantees. But I’m not out here doing this because of you, Richard Wilkes. Believe that. I am here, talking right now, because I want everyone in the back to see this. After the PPV, you won’t be saying “Cam who?” or “that clown” No, no, NO. After the PPV, you will be saying, “Damn, Cam Nitta is a sick f**k!” after you see what I do to this man. Well, part of a man. (Cam begins to laugh) At the PPV, Wilkes, you are NOT standing in my way. I will be National Champion, and there is nothing that you can do about it other than lay on the mat and bleed. Have a wonderful day.
Cam drops the mic, refolds the chair, and throws it on top of Richard Wilkes. He stares at Wilkes for a little while, wondering if he should do more, before walking out of the ring and into the backstage area. Meanwhile, still in the ring following their victory, Ripp Jackson and Thunder, both of whom have microphones in their hands, look down at the seemingly lifeless body of Richard Wilkes. They look at each other and shrug as they casually roll him out of the ring. Thunder puts the microphone to his lips.
Thunder: I must say, we’re only into this new regime under Xavier Pierce, and I have to say, I’m loving it. It’s about time someone finally puts this company back on track and got rid of that excess weight in the former WFWF Tag Team Champions.
Ripp Jackson: Now, now Thunder. Are you just mad that Alex Sean and DGX both took away your WFWF Championship on two separate occasions?
Thunder: Damn right I am, but you know, I can’t say that it was the worst thing that happened to me. I mean, yeah, my life crumpled at my feet at one point…but between that and my battles with Shawn Malakai…it taught me that I am not as immortal as I thought I was. And now, I have the chance to make it all right once more. It’s not quite the WFWF Championship, but it’s a step in the right direction. And Ripp, I barely know you…and I’m not too sure that I want to, but you know something…I see potential in you. I see potential for you to become like me in all of the good ways. But in order to get there, you have to prove to me and everyone that you really have what it takes to make it big. You have to prove to me and to everyone that you can do it, and you can only do that by aiding me in winning the WFWF Tag Team Championships. I refuse to allow you to just come along for the ride…you have to earn your keep.
”This is Extreme” by Harry and the Slashtones resonates throughout the arena as, from behind the curtain, come Randel Benjamin and Dave Demento, armed with chairs and Demento also has a microphone. Upon seeing the chairs, Jackson rolls out of the ring and over to the production crew. He grabs a steel chair and launches it into the ring at Thunder, who skillfully catches the chair. Jackson grabs one for himself and rolls into the ring and bashes it off of the mat a couple of times. Demento and Benjamin stay out of the ring.
Dave Demento: You have a lot of nerve, coming out here old man, talking about how good the WFWF’s gotten in just a couple of weeks. Xavier Pierce has done jack sh*t in the way of helping make the WFWF better.
Thunder: Yeah, considering he gave you two a tag title shot, maybe you’re right. Nothing good. Jack sh*t.
Dave Demento: Considering you’ve won three matches in the course of about a year, you have no room to talk about deserving a title match. And at IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE, Benjamin and I will fulfill our destinies and win the WFWF Tag Team Championships, and en route, we’ll make it a point to take you out and have your partner join you in an early retirement.
Demento and Thunder stare each other down while Benjamin and Jackson clearly assume the bodyguard roles as we cut to the break.

The lights in the arena dim, The introduction of "Last Resort" by Papa Roach plays, but only leads into "Going Down to Die" by Danzig, which blares over the P/A system. The lights immediately come back up and begin to flash in the entrance way, Phillip Schneider makes his way to the ring. He walks quickly with a certain stride to his step. He slides into the ring and demands the microphone from the ring announcer.
Phillip Schneider: Michael Kyzer.. We’ve got a date coming up, don’t we? That why you’ve been trying to play these head games with me? Tying me up with barbed wire and having your cronies beat me down? Hooking up with the little piece of street trash that I got rid of? You call yourself the Lord of F*ck but the way I see it, if you’re taking my second hand p*ssy, that makes me the Lord of F*ck, doesn’t it? And these little mind games, you may think you’ve got the upper hand, but there’s a thinly veiled reality behind these smoke and mirror games.. It’s the fact, in your self confident stupor, you’ve failed to actually read the contract. You signed it, but you didn’t read it. You clearly didn’t read it..
Matt Steel: What’s he getting it?
Matthew Werner: Let him speak and maybe we’ll find out!
Phillip Schneider: You’d think you wouldn’t agree to a no disqualification match with me, given my track record of violence..
The crowd cheers at this.
Phillip Schneider: You’d think, if you were going to sign off on a no disqualifications match, you wouldn’t sign off the fact that there will be NO ONE allowed at ringside. This doesn’t bother me much, because all my friends have run off and are doing other things, but your lackies, they’d probably help you in a no DQ match..
The crowd cheers at this as well. They aren’t much for Michael Kyzer.
Phillip Schneider: And here’s the kicker. I wrote this in mostly to amuse myself. Because I was sure when you read the contract, you’d say no. If you were too self absorbed to read the contract, you’d have someone else read it, and THEY’D say no.. but apparently no one in Camp Kyzer bothered to read this contract.. It’s Super Effective.. Heavyweight title on the line.. No DQ.. Everyone banned from ringside.. NO ROPE, BARBED WIRE!
Matt Steel: WHAT?
Matthew Werner: NO WAY!
The crowd goes insane at this announcement.
Phillip Schneider: I figured I could get away with the No DQ, maybe everyone banned at ringside, but when I got the signed contract back, and you had signed off on no rope barbed wire, I was sure you hadn’t read it, and you’ve just signed your life away. There’s only been one previous no rope barbed wire match, in the illustrious history of the WFWF. Almost twelve years this federation has been running, and there’s only been one.. And they said after that one, there’d never be another.. Because of the level of violence that was shown, because of the danger to the competitors.. It’d never happen again. It was April 2007 when the last happened. Forever Unscarred. And that was the date I won my first WFWF Heavyweight title. I’m undefeated in no rope barbed wire.. And I intend to stay that way. The days of Michael Kyzer’s reign of terror are coming to a close.. Prepare for hell..
Schneider hands the microphone away. The beginning guitar riff of "Over and Under" echoes through the arena as the lights go dark. Flashes of orange light illuminate the entrance ramp as the guitar continues. After about 10 seconds, the scream of the opening of the song is heard as Ace Bennett makes his way out to the arena, the orange flashes illuminating his body. Cupping his hands, he screams "COME ON!" to the crowd as the normal arena lights come on. The crowd cheers as Ace walks down the ramp with a purpose, a look a focus on his face. He acknowledges the cheers by bobbing his head up and down and pointing into the crowd as he makes hi way to the ring. The chorus echoes through the arena as Ace slides under the bottom rope and climbs the turnbuckle, pointing out to the crowd and hyping himself up before the match starts.
Bell sounds and the match is under way. Circle around the ring into a collar and elbow tie up. Broken by Schneider with a go behind waist lock. Lift from Schneider and a smashing front slam into the mat. Schneider floats over and locks on a three fourths chancery on Ace Bennett. Bennett desperately trying to get his hands between the hold as he works his way to a vertical base. Schneider opts to throw knees.
Matthew Werner: Brutal knees from the number one contender to the Heavyweight championship of the World.
Matt Steel: And he’s determined. He’s gotta be.. Why would he risk everything, in a no rope barbed wire match at It’s Super Effective otherwise?
Bennett absorbs the first two knees to the face, but crumbles on the third. Schneider dead lifts him back to a vertical base, hooking him under both arms and throwing him up and over with a belly to belly suplex. Ace is out on his feet as he gets back up, starry eyes and dazed. Schneider runs at Ace for a lariat. Ace puts both forearms up for a block. Standing enziguri from Ace stumbles Schneider, but doesn’t knock him down.
Matthew Werner: Ace relying off instincts there with the standing enziguri.
Matt Steel: Those knees probably should’ve deemed a referee stoppage in all honesty.
Ace takes a few steps back, regaining his bearings, then rushing Schneider with a clothesline. Schneider stumbles and falls into the ropes, but bounces back and nails Ace with a Yakuza kick out of no where!
Matt Steel: Legitimate Japanese Businessman Kick! Out of no where!
Matthew Werner: Schneider took a blow, bounced back, and just threw that kick of death out of no where.
Schneider isn’t satisfied. He pulls Ace to his feet. Ace breaks free of the head grab then double palm strikes Schneider in the chest. Spinning back kick to the stomach of Schneider. Ace jumps up, double stomping Schneider’s head, then sliding into a back senton as Schneider falls, crashing with Schneider and bringing his full body weight down on Schneider as the two fall to the canvas.
Matthew Werner: Ace Bennett is showing this do not die attitude. It’s noble.
Matt Steel: It’s going to get him killed though. What will Schneider do when standard strikes don’t get the job done? He’ll kill!
Both men down, the referee starting a standing five count. Schneider is the first back up to his feet, but Bennett is the first to his hands and knees. Both men to their feet. Schneider goes for a slap. Bennett blocks. Elbow to the face from Bennett. A second. A third! Bennett is firing up on Phillip Schneider. Spinning back elbow from Bennett, but it’s ducked. Schneider hooks Bennett in an inverted full nelson. He tries to lift Bennett up, going for the Beverly Kills 90210. Bennett has enough ring presence to realize this and back slides Schneider. Referee down for the count.
... 1 ...
... 2 ...
...
Roll out at two from Schneider.
Matt Steel: Near fall from Ace Bennett.
Matthew Werner: it’s worth noting, since he’s returned, Phillip Schneider has not been pinned, submitted, disqualified, or counted out. A pinfall victory against him would hold a lot of merit, especially on the eve of It’s Super Effective and a title match for Schneider pending.
Schneider rolls through to his feet, to his feet before even Ace Bennett. This is not good for Bennett. Schneider punts Bennett in the face with malicious force. Bennett stumbles to his feet, presumably so he won’t get soccer kicked in the face again. Schneider nails him with a running knee to the chest, stumbling Ace backwards into the ropes. Schneider runs at Ace. Ace gets underneath him and backdrops him up and over the top rope and to the arena floor.
Matt Steel: That was a mistake… he’s put this match in Phillip Schneider’s territory now..
Matthew Werner: And on the outside, everything is a weapon.
Schneider to his feet. Bennett grabs the top rope and springboards himself up and over with a plancha and he catches nothing but arena floor mats as Schneider side steps. Schneider grabs an empty chair at ringside. Bennett slowly to his feet. Schneider throws the chair with recklessness and into Ace’s face.
Matthew Werner: There’s relaxed rules on the floor here in the WFWF and Phillip Schneider knows it.
Matt Steel: This is NOT the place for Ace Bennett to be. He has got to get this match back into the ring, pronto.
Schneider grabs Bennett. Bennett with the chair that was just launched at his face with a stabbing motion to the mid section of Schneider. Schneider doubles over. Bennett stands up. He questions the crowd for a moment, then smashes the chair across Phillip Schneider’s back. Schneider stumbles away, walking off the pain. Ace throws away the chair and makes a chase. Around the ring post goes Schneider, then Ace. And Ace walks right into a trap. A poke to the eyes. Schneider grabs Ace by the hair and rams him into the steel ring post. Ace starts to fall. Schneider grabs him in a front face lock. He drags him a few steps back, then suplexes him into the ringside rail. Schneider back to his feet quickly, rolling into the ring to break the referee’s count, then right back to the floor.
Matthew Werner: This match would’ve likely been a double count out had Schneider not broken the count, but now we restart back at one.
Matt Steel: And Ace Bennett may be dead. Did you see how his spine bent around that rail? Jesus!
Schneider scoops up Bennett and rolls him back into the ring. Schneider climbs to the top rope before entering. Bennett slowly to his feet. Schneider comes off the top with a double axe handle. Side step from Bennett. Spinning back fist aimed at the back of Schneider’s head from Bennett, and it connects! Schneider drops to one knee. Shining Wizard from Bennett.
Matthew Werner: And there’s the Orange Glow!
Matt Steel: Schneider’s down! Stay on him, kid!
Bennett to the top rope. He turns around then dives with a moonsault. Schneider puts his knees up.
Matt Steel: You took too much time getting cute, you had him, and you wanted to get your signature stuff in..
Bennett to his feet. He’s holding his ribs. Schneider grabs him. Reverse full nelson scoops Bennett up and over, right into the Beverly Kills 902010. Bennett is folded up like a stack of dimes. Pin from Schneider.

Matt Steel: Ace Bennett looked impressive, but the number one contender was more impressive.

And we're back.
Matthew Werner: Well next up ladies and gentlemen we've got a highly anticipated rematch from Superbrawl.
Matt Steel: You'd think the bookers would have a little more imagination?
Matthew Werner: Both David Brennan and Drakz got through the first round of the International Title Tournament laid out by the new management, that's how they got here. Drakz's first round victory has however brought a lot of controversy to the tournament though as many are saying Kylie threw the match in his favour.
Matt Steel: Did you see the clothesline? He took her head off and won the match.
The lights dim, and the first chords of “Absent” echo through the arena. The lights explode on and Michael Kyzer is standing in the entrance way, with his trademark smirk. He makes his way to the ring with little interaction with the fans.
Matthew Werner: What's he doing out here? His match isn't until later?
Kyzer walks around the ring instead of getting inside and pulls up a seat at the commentary desk. On goes a 3rd headset.
Michael Kyzer: What's happening f*gs? I thought I'd bring a little excitement to the commentary, plus I wanted a front row seat for what is going to be the best match you've seen in years.
Matthew Werner: Well I don't blame you, this next match has been surrounded by a buzz since it was announced.
"It's been a long time, It's been a long time, It's been a long time since I've been home!"
As "Whiskey Will" by Darkbuster kicks into high gear, David Brennan steps out onto the stage, right fist thrust high in the air, the left clutching a half empty bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. Fist held high as he ambles down the ramp, David swigs from the bottle as he approaches ringside.
Keri Thames: This match is the semi final of the International Title Tournament and is scheduled for one fall. First by way of Allentown, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 243lbs David Brennan!
Michael Kyzer: That's my boy!
He stumbles before pulling himself up to the ring mat, turning to face the crowd, yelling as he pumps his fist at them. The crowd responds with vocal disgust, as they would rather not be subjected to the antics of a dangerous, hateful alcoholic. Stepping into the ring, David drowns what is left in the bottle, then leans over the top rope and sprays a mist of the brown liquid out over the crowd, saluting them with his middle finger in the process as his music fades.
The eerie yet beautiful atmospherics of Heart Space echo around the arena and the lights fade to darkness. As the vocals ease in the lights flicker with each word until the industrial drums hit the PA and the focus is brought to the top of the ramp. Drakz steps out on to the stage, his hood covers his head and remains that way as he begins to swagger down the ramp toward the ring, nodding his head to the drum-beat.
Keri Thames: And his opponent from Leeds, England, weighing 236lbs Drakz!
Michael Kyzer: That's also my boy!
Kyzer stands up applauding.
Michael Kyzer: Bravo! Bravo!
Drakz hops up onto the ring apron and takes a look around the arena at the crowd. He steps under the top rope and pulls his hood down as he enters the ring spinning around with his arms out, hands open and head bowed a little to acknowledge the crowd and thank them. He then unzips his hooded top and throws it to the corner before slapping hands with David and saying a few words to his new friend. The two then back into their corners and the ref signals for the bell to start the match.
Matthew Werner: Well this is going to be a barn burner, two of the hottest superstars in the WFWF today facing off with a mutual respect for one another.
The two men lock up in the centre of the ring but the stronger of the two in Brennan pushes Drakz backward sending him rolling into the turnbuckle. He wastes no time and it's evident David wants this victory to make it to the final at the PPV. He follows up with a huge knee that catches Drakz on the side of the head as he rises to his feet and it seems Drakz has been rocked in a big way.
Matt Steel: That nearly knocked him out!
Michael Kyzer: Nah.
Brennan unloads with a series of rights and lefts dropping Drakz to the matt. He doesn't let up and follows with more driving knees. Drakz's eyes are rolling into his head at this point but David is hell bent on picking up the win here tonight. He lifts Drakz up and plants him on the top turnbuckle.
Matthew Werner: Drakz is looking like a rag doll swaying around up there.
Brennan climbs and sets Drakz up for a superplex but the veteran locks his legs around the ropes. Brennan attempts to remedy this with a series of blows to the rib cage and then tries the lift again but to no avail. This time Drakz instead reverses and throws himself and Brennan down with a top rope falcon arrow. He covers.
... 1 ...
...
Brennan kicks out on one.
Michael Kyzer: Electricity already, what did I say?
Matthew Werner: Both men are certainly giving it their all from the get go.
Surprisingly Brennan is the first to his feet closely followed by Drakz. David whips him into the ropes and then follows nailing a running clothesline that sends Drakz tumbling over the top and to the ground below. Brennan remains on the attack and rolls under the bottom rope to meet him. He lifts Drakz and whips him again, this time into the guard wall. Drakz however jumps straight over it, landing on his feet. He turns around only to be met by an airborne Brennan who leapfrogs the barricade and delivers a hard flying shoulder sending them both tumbling into the audience's seats.
Matthew Werner: I thought these two were friends now?
Michael Kyzer: Tough love is the only love in our family.
Matt Steel: Word.
Brennan hangs Drakz out to dry on the barricade, climbs up onto it and delivers a double stomp to the back of his head, flipping him over and back out of the crowd. Maintaining focus and not wasting time with show boating, Brennan pulls up one of the matts that covers the hard floor outside the ring and tosses it to one side. He then heaves Drakz up to his feet and sets him up for a pile-driver onto the exposed floor but Drakz stands up throwing David over his head and crashing down onto the thin protective matts. Drakz turns and smiles at Kyzer and they exchange a high five.
Matt Steel: Such team spirit.
Drakz catches the stumbling Brennan and throws him overhead again, this time with a belly to belly suplex onto the concrete. Brennan roars with pain but drags himself to his feet using the edge of the announcers desk to stabilise. Drakz now rolls back into the ring and signals for David to follow. He allows David to get back inside the squared circle without any kind of attack and the two begin to circle the ring smiling, knowing how great a challenge they both pose to one another. Drakz however is the first to go back on the assault and he runs at David, David drops to the ground letting Drakz run over him and into the ropes. Brennan rises and tries to nail Drakz with another clubbing clothesline but this time Drakz scouts the move and ducks, taking the arm behind David's back and hooking the other before driving David hard into the matt with his signature tiger suplex, he holds the bridge for the pin.
Matthew Werner: That was devastating, this could be it!
... 1 ...
... 2 ...
...
Kick out!
Brennan rolls to the left but Drakz maintains the lock of the arms and struggles to his feet. He flips David overhead and hits another tiger suplex, only this time he doesn't attempt a pin he merely rolls and lifts him to his feet again and hits a third and final version of the move, releasing David in mid air. Both men are down.
Michael Kyzer: Just beautiful stuff here gentlemen, I dare either of you to find fault in this performance so far.
... 1 ...
... 2 ...
... 3 ...
... 4 ...
... 5 ...
... 6 ...
...
Drakz is back to his feet and he pulls David up with him, hitting a number of European uppercuts that have David on wobbly legs. He then turns him over, hooking the leg, with a fisherman suplex but David slips down the back and drops Drakz with a reverse DDT. The crowd is going wild and David signals for the end as he climbs to the top turnbuckle.
Matt Steel: Looking for the Fresh Cut here, let's see if he can nail Drakz with it this time.
Drakz is up and bent double, holding the back of his head and David soars.
Matthew Werner: HE DODGED IT!……………AGAIN!
Matt Steel: My ears!……………again.
Michael Kyzer: Yeah that was unnecessarily loud you pr*ck.
In almost a mirror of Superbrawl Brennan rises to his feet and Drakz goes for the Needle Damage only this time Brennan in an act of desperation hits a low blow and Drakz drops to his knees. Brennan leans back and bounces off the ropes, picking up momentum and hitting a big boot right into the mouth of his hurting opponent. He looks out cold and so David covers.
... 1 ...
... 2 ...
...
Kick out!
Matthew Werner: This is truly a match that won't be forgotten in a hurry.
Michael Kyzer: Ever. You were supposed to say ever. Do your job p*ssy.
Matt Steel: You know you're alright, do you fancy coming on commentary more often?
Michael Kyzer: Mr Steel I would but I've got too many important things to be doing, like washing my hair.
David, unlike most other superstars, doesn't stop to complain to the ref or pretend he's shocked. Instead he drags Drakz to the centre of the ring, folds his legs and rolls him over clamping him in The Hooligan Leg-Lock.
Matthew Werner: Drakz is in the centre of the ring. He's got no choice but to tap!
Drakz refuses to let out a cry of pain, his mouth tightens and his eyes are fixed, staring into space.
Matt Steel: What is he doing? Is he trying to find his happy place?
Drakz lifts himself up using his arms and winces in pain but he manages to create enough space under David to roll back between his legs. David showcases his great strength now and lifts Drakz up by his legs in a powerbomb like move but Drakz reaches up and wraps his arm around David's head. David panics and releases his legs, landing Drakz back on his feet still holding David's skull under his arm. He then grabs David's arm and uses it as leverage to spin him around so he is facing the rafters. Drakz then kicks his feet out from underneath him and has his version of a reverse dragon sleeper locked in good and tight.
Matthew Werner: He calls this Channel 9, and I think it's about to do a number on David.
Michael Kyzer: That really was terrible.
David attempts to struggle free but there is no give in the hold and with every passing second he is fading. Seeing no way out David is forced to submit and Drakz breaks the hold, falling back onto the matt.
Keri Thames: Here is your winner Drakz!
Matt Steel: That was an epic display that we just witnessed.
Michael Kyzer: Damn straight.
Drakz rises to his feet and offers David a hand which he accepts and gets to his feet as well, followed by a hand shake and both men nodding in acknowledgement of each others effort. The alliance they have forged is strong enough to withstand any match. Michael Kyzer leaves the commentary desk now and joins his friends in the ring, taking a microphone with him. Kyzer greets both men, congratulating them both and then stares around at the fans.
Michael Kyzer: There is a change coming. The tectonic plates are shifting and re-aligning and all sorts of other end of days sh*t.
The crowd pops. Idiots.
Michael Kyzer: As you all know David here has recently joined our ranks. You could say he was scouted, we only associate with the best. Schneider this is why we keep you at arms length. Over the last couple of weeks things have fallen down around you and I for one seem to be benefiting from that. Your opponent becomes my ally, your girl becomes mine, the pieces of the puzzle are almost too perfect. But it is now that things turn really sour for you because what you see before you is a unit. A unit with a collective mind set, the absolute control of this company. All of the gold, all of the talent and the only 3 men left standing after the winds of sh*t surpass. Schneider you won't see us coming.
He passes the microphone to Drakz.
Drakz: But don't fret too much Obo. Whilst it might seem the numbers game is heavily set in Michael's favour, you have to remember myself and David have our own paths to be taking, and let's be honest 1 on 1 is all it needs. Once the credits roll at the end of the upcoming PPV the WFWF will be strapped to our backs, as we carry the weight of the gold, the faces of the company.
He looks at his team mates and jokes:
Drakz: Ain't it just beautiful?
Michael and David both crack up, nodding in agreement all the same.
Drakz: Ladies and gentlemen we are "The New Epoch"…..You might want to look up the last word folks, it's a bit of a difficult one.
Drakz looks around wondering if any of the audience are even switched on enough to realise that was a dig at their intelligence. Apparently not.
Drakz: This alliance whilst yet to be tested is already unbeatable. I genuinely accept any offer to attempt to rattle us, and I guarantee no one in that locker room is capable of coming up with the goods. I mean have you seen this?
Drakz tears off his invisible shirt and flexes his muscles in a way that reminds us of that guy with the moustache from 3 Ninjas: High Noon At Mega Mountain. He passes the mic to David Brennan and continues to walk the ring celebrating.
David Brennan: Someone pass me a bottle...
A ring hand jumps up to answer the call, reaching into a ringside cooler and tossing a dark, nondescript bottle of beer to David Brennan, who cracks it open with a twist of his hand. He picks the mic back up, hoisting the bottle above his head, as if to salute the cheering idiots in the crowd.
David Brennan: ...I don't say much, so I ain't gonna say much. I've seen enough death, seen enough of my brothers fall, to know when a storm's about to hit, to know when the hammer's about to fall. This age in the WFWF has come to an end, and tonight, a new era begins. I'm not about to extend my hand to save all of you out back from the fall, but I'm a man of respect - and it's with that respect that I share with you tonight a custom I've shared with all the men and women I know who have come to pass, men and women who the WFWF will soon come to join in the land of the dead.
With the bottle still hoisted above his head, David hands the mic off to Kyzer, faces the entrance stage, and slowly tilts the bottle sideways, emptying the entire 16 ounces of amber liquid onto the ring mat below. Once the bottle is empty, he tosses it over the ropes, laughing as it shatters into pieces on the entrance ramp. With both hands now free, he hoists both arms up, offering a double fisted, one finger salute to the entire locker room.
Michael Kyzer: Within a matter of weeks of my return I've attained the highest accolade in this business, kicked off the high school reunion and got Drakz back in the game, scouted the hottest prospect in Mr Brennan and in true silent movie style run off with the hero's girl. Hero is a little strong, he is just a bum after all. But as you can see I am in as fine a position as ever and nothing looks to be opposing that. "The New Epoch" is here peasants and from now on we are the only constant.
Michael drops the mic, almost blowing the arena's PA speakers and the 3 men join hands, raising them above their heads in unison. "The New Epoch" is born.

And we’re back, and this time we have the other match in the semi-finals for the WFWF International Championship tournament.
Up next we had the second of two International Championship tournament matches. Trace Demon and Mak Cross went head to head here in a very competitive match. The two locked up from the get go, with Mak getting a bit of an advantage from the start. However, after some technical wrestling, Trace was able to get the upper hand. Trace used his technical prowess to keep the more brawling based Mak on his toes. Mak was able to catch Trace off guard a few times with a number of hard hitting moves that kept him in the match the entire time. In the end, Mak lost his concentration for a split second, which was long enough for Trace to put him away with the Demonstration of Hell, giving him the submission victory.
Keri Thames: Here is your winner, Trace Demon!
Trace Demon celebrates in the ring, despite his usual calm demeanor, this match seems to mean a lot to him. He deserves the celebration, but he had better be ready to get down to business.
Matthew Werner: This match now between Drakz and Trace at the finals has the potential to be huge. Trace has the potential to become just the fourth Grand Slam champion in WFWF history. And to be able to get revenge against the man who’s been tormenting him for weeks…this should be a stellar matchup for sure.
And just like that, the arena grows excited, wondering what could happen next. Well…it’s not what they were expecting. “Shout at the Devil” by Motley Crew resonates throughout the arena as the one and only Richard Shaw comes out from behind the curtain and raises his arms, clearly pissing off the WFWF faithful.
Matthew Werner: Woah, this just keeps getting bettwe and beter. Xavier Pierce got Richard Shaw back? Sh*t…this is getting a little bit ridiculous.
Matt Steel: I’m loving it.
Richard Shaw rolls into the ring and puts the microphone to his face.
Richard Shaw: Guess who’s back, b*tches?
The fans shout ‘WHO?’ back at him, clearly irritating the man who was clearly hoping to come back to applause.
Richard Shaw: You know, you ingrates don’t deserve to see the greatness that is me…but I’m gracing you with my presence, because that’s just the kind of guy that I am…and you should greatly appreciate that. And if you don’t, well, I’m going to force that appreciation right down your throats, because right here, right now I’m issuing an open challenge for ANYONE who wants to face me at IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE. I don’t care who comes down that ramp. I’m back, and while I may be leaving right this second, I for sure will not be leaving the WFWF any time soon, and I’m going to prove it at IT’S SUPER EFFECTIVE.
The fans cheer, probably hoping someone’s going to accept the challenge and kick his ass. Richard Shaw, making good on his promise, ups and leaves the ring after making that announcement.
Matthew Werner: Is that wise of someone just coming back and trying to get into the swing of things to issue an open challenge like that?
Matt Steel: Probably not, but you know…Shaw’s one impressive person wrestler…even though he’s hated, no one can take his talent away from him.
Matthew Werner: Nope.
Matt Steel: That’s for sure. Well…here we go I suppose. And now it's time for the Maaaaaain Event!
Matthew Werner: Calm down, man. Don't wet yourself.
The lights in the Arena fade out. "The Touch" by Stan Bush plays on the PA, signaling that only one man could possibly be entering through the curtain. A spotlight shines down towards the stage. Out from behind the curtain steps, not a man, but Tabitha Owens! And, well, then a man, Braden Munroe. Tabitha stands under the spotlight, basking in her own feminine glory, while Braden attempts to get himself under it as well so he can read the latest issue of MunrOwens' Comics. Unfortunately for him, Tabitha begins walking down the ramp, forcing him to follow so that he doesn't get lost. The two quickly slide into the ring, the spotlight returning in the center. Tabitha, once again, stands under it and rightfully so. Braden tries again to read the comic put Tabitha pushes him out of the way. The music comes to a quiet hush with the two bickering at one another, like usual.
Matt Steel: You know, I've seen the comic book that Braden and Tabitha make each week (or month). They're actually pretty talented.
Matthew Werner: Wait, how do these two keep getting contracts in WFWF? Don't they return and disappear about 47 times a month?
Matt Steel: Possibly. However, this is probably Tabitha's biggest match ever. She faces the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion, Michael Kyzer. Tabitha wanted me to inform the world that she plans on taking out every male in WFWF and replace them with an even more capable female. Starting with the worst of them all!
Matthew Werner: So, she's a lesbian?
The lights that previously sort of came back begin to fade once more. The first chords of "Absent" start to echo throughout the Arena. The lights explode on in an explosion of, well, light and Michael Kyzer has randomly appeared on the entrance stage. He takes a moment to stand there in his douchey attire, with his trademark smile, WFWF World Heavyweight Championship belt displayed prominently around his waist. He makes his way down the ramp, paying very little mind to the fans. He slides into the ring, not paying much attention to his opponent as he walks over to the corner and waits. It is only then that he realizes his adversary for the night is actually in the ring as well.
Matt Steel: I wonder how seriously Kyzer is going to take Tabitha in this match.
Matthew Werner: I wonder if Kyzer even knows who she is.
Matt Steel: Well, last week we saw a very confusing ending to Loaded. So confusing, in fact, that I'm not even going to comment on it. Let's just hope tonight is not like that.
Matthew Werner: Enough talking, let's close the show already. Erm, I meanget onto the match.
The bell sounds as Tabitha and Kyzer slowly begin to circle one another in the ring. Kyzer, as serious as ever, deadly glaring at his opposition. He starts towards her until he scratches his head and sort of laughs at the completely-real Superhero. Owens doesn't seem surprised. Tabitha begins to scream to Kyzer about equal treatment of women, making his laughter grow. This obviously doesn't please Ms. Owens as she rushes at Kyzer and stiffly slaps him in the stomach. His laughter turns into a strong exhale. His eyes are wide, perplexed. He questions why she would do that because it actually hurt a little. His only answer is a quick forearm directly to the face. Kyzer stumbles back a bit, but Tabitha doesn't give him any space. She follows up with a series of swift forearms and chops before attempting to irish whip her opponent. Due to his weight advantage, Kyzer puts a stop to this. He quickly raises a knee into the midsection of Tabitha. She hunches over in pain. Kyzer grabs a fistful of hair and slams Owens down to her back, on the mat. Without hesitation, he drops multiple knees over her chest before blatantly sitting on her face for the cover.
... 1 ...
Tabitha quickly gets out of the position.
Matt Steel: A little disrespectful of Kyzer, but what can you expect?
Matthew Werner: Disrespectful? Hooker slapped him in the stomach. That poop hurts!
With both wrestlers to their feet, they meet in the center for the lock up. Kyzer, the more experienced, is able to easily snap Owens over with an arm drag. She's quick to her feet, but finds herself back down by another arm drag. This time, Kyzer holds on, placing her in an arm lock. Tabitha kicks around, attempting to rescue herself from the simple, yet effective submission. She somehow manages to rise to her feet, Kyzer still has the arm in his possession, applying more pressure, until Tabitha whips him over with an arm drag of her own. Kyzer gets back up as Tabitha shakes her arm free of pain. Before her opponent can gain the upper hand again, Tabitha quickly strikes Kyzer with a step up enziguri. The impact, as stiff as it is, doesn't take the WFWF World Heavyweight Champion off his feet. Tabitha runs off the ropes, coming back and delivering a powerful dropkick, this time knocking Kyzer to a seated position. Bouncing off the ropes once more, Tabitha returns to her seated opponent and hits dropkick to the face. Not foolish enough to go for a pin so quickly, Tabitha grabs two handfuls of hair and not-so-graciously helps Kyzer back to his feet. She quickly kicks him in the midsection and places him in a front facelock. She calls out for her signature jumping Implant DDT. However, Kyzer is able to hurl her over his back. She lands with an audible thud. Kyzer begins to kick away at his fallen opponent. Afterwards, he lifts Tabitha up by her arm, fiercely before carelessly knocking her back down with a short-armed clothesline. He repeats this process over and over and over, just trying to wear Owens out.
Matthew Werner: Ha! This is great! I honestly think Kyzer is going to make this chick suffer.
Matt Steel: He seemed to take her lightly at first, but now he just seems intent on punishing her!
In the ring, Kyzer has Tabitha backed into a corner. He yells something at her before back-handing her. The pure disrespect seems to light a fire in Tabitha's eyes. Kyzer attempts another backhand but Owens slips away from him. She runs towards the ropes, bouncing off as Kyzer comes after to meet her mid-ring. With momentum, Owens leaps up, legs wrapping around Michael's head and flips him over with a hurracanrana. Both wrestlers up once again. Tabitha going right after Kyzer. She grabs his hair and forces his head into her knee. Two fast facebreakers over the knee, causing Kyzer to hunch over. Owens runs back to the ropes, coming back to meet Kyzer in the side of the face with a leaping Yakuza Kick. Kyzer goes down and Tabitha covers him quickly.
... 1 ...
Kyzer kicks out. But Owens is unrelenting. As he tries to get to his feet, Tabitha delivers shot after shot to his back, head, anything she can get her hands on. Kyzer roughly shoves her away so that he can gain composure. Tabitha rushes towards him to continue her assault, but Kyzer powers her down with a spinebuster. Not giving her any time to recuperate, Kyzer lifts Tabitha up by the hair as he gets to his feet as well. He places her head in between his legs, then lifts her up before dropping her forcefully with a powerbomb.
Matt Steel: It looks like Kyzer is going a different route from his usual in-ring ways. Using his power to dominate Tabitha.
Matthew Werner: That's what she deserves!
Kyzer continues to stay in control of the match, snapping Tabitha over with a series of snap suplexes. By the fourth one, Kyzer holds Owens up, vertically, hooking her leg in the process. He drops her directly on the head for a cradle brainbuster. Tabitha lies flat on the mat, possibly knocked out from impact while Kyzer takes a breather. He walks towards the ropes, near where Braden is standing on the outside. He kicks at the ropes as if he's going to kick Munroe. Braden flashes the comic at him, revealing Tabitha's proclaimed destiny of this match. Kyzer shouts an obscenity Braden's way before turning back to his opponent. Tabitha is still down, so he brings her back up. Face to face, wrapping both arms around Owens, Kyzer then throws her over for a belly to belly suplex. Afterwards, he lies near her in the spots they landed, heads touching. He assumingly says something very Kyzer-like, causing Owens to turn away even in her loopy state. While she's still down, Kyzer delivers a somewhat playful chop to the chest. Figuring he's already got the match in his favor, he simply takes fists full of her hair and begins to bang her head into the mat repeatedly. The ref eventually steps in, telling him to back off. This obviously doesn't stop Kyzer. This brings Braden up to the apron.
Braden Munroe: Kyzer! I am the rocks of the eternal shore! Crash against me and be broken!
Matthew Werner: What the hell is this guy talking about?
Kyzer finds humor in Braden's anger. He walks over to the Superhero, stiffly punching him in the face, knocking Braden off the apron. Proud of his actions, Kyzer delivers a cocky smile down at the fallen hero. Unfortunately, he forgets about his opponent. Tabitha quickly goes to Kyzer with his back turned. She wraps her arms around his waste and sends him over with a bridging German suplex.
... 1 ...
... 2 ...
...
Kyzer kicks out. Surprised, he works up to his feet. With the ref's attention to Braden on the outside, Tabitha takes a not-so-heroic moment to lift her foot right in between Kyzer's legs with brute force. Kyzer clutches over, yelling out what a bitch he thinks Owens is. Tabitha applies a front facelock before jumping up. She comes down, bringing Kyzer head-first to the mat, hard with her implant DDT. Tabitha, catching her second wind, wastes no time climbing up the ropes as Kyzer is stumbling to his feet, unaware of how this is happening. Turning in Tabitha's direction, Kyzer is met with a huge Missile Dropkick, knocking him off his feet.
Matt Steel: [/b] Best Missile Dropkick Ever! Matthew Werner: Really? You think? Matt Steel: Eh, it's what she calls it. Tabitha gains confidence, waiting for Kyzer to get back to his feet, possibly looking to get him with the Loaded Pistol. As Kyzer gets up, he turns and Tabitha goes for the kill. She goes for the Loaded Pistol, but Kyzer catches her foot and knocks her down, harshly. With absolutely no hesitation, he locks in the Indulgent Behavior, making Tabitha yell out in agony. The self-proclaimed Superhero struggles, trying to pull herself towards the nearest rope. Braden cheers her on, attempting to use his abilities to manipulate the weather to summon a gust of wind to blow her closer. Unfortunately, this does not work. Tabitha almost makes it to a rope, but Kyzer uses his strength advantage to pull her away and adds more pressure. It proves too much for Owens as she begins to tap out. The bell sounds as Kyzer keeps the hold intact for a few moments before releasing Tabitha. He stands, cocky smile returning as if he knew the vicotry was his all along. Braden pulls Tabitha out of the ring and the two walk to the back.
Matt Steel: Nice effort by Tabitha. Michael Kyzer proves to be too much for a Superhero tonight. Matthew Werner: Well, yeah. Didn't you read the results at WFWFSpoilers.com? Kyzer stands tall post match, celebrating his win. Suddenly, the lights black out. Completely black. There’s static on the big screen after a few moments, which provides the only relief from the black. Kyzer’s figure can be seen in the ring, in the reflection of the light. The static cuts to a puppet. A puppet in a chair. The puppet is dressed like a hobo, shaggy hair, a scruffy beard, a flannel vest, cut off jeans. It’s quite the mangy puppet, truly. Kyzer points at the big screen for a moment and laughs. But the laugh is on him. Kyzer isn’t alone in the ring. And he feels the sting of his guest. It’s not Tabitha Owens, or even Braden Monroe. They are gone. This is someone completely different.Matt Steel: Matthew, who is that? I can’t see, it’s dark. Matthew Werner: You think I can see in the dark? You think I have ultraviolet vision? It’s dark for me too you goof! The figure that’s joined Kyzer reaches into his pocket and pulls something out. It looks like a pen. But it sprays something. The mystery man stabs Kyzer in the back. Kyzer tries to fight off his assailant, but crumbles to the mat. The lights come back on. Standing in the center of the ring is Phillip Schneider, in his street gear of a hoody and shorts. He’s got a needle in his hands. Kyzer is out.Matt Steel: What’d he stab him with?! Matthew Werner: The hell if I know, but Kyzer is OUT! Schneider stands over Kyzer for a moment, looking down at the crumbled corpse of the Heavyweight Champion. He slides to the outside. He lifts up the ring skirt and pulls a cinder block out from under the ring. He slides this into the ring under the bottom rope, then a second. He grabs a microphone from ringside, and the WFWF Championship belt. Into the ring goes Schneider with all of his props. He rolls Kyzer over, flat on his back. Then he casually walks over to one of his blocks. He drags it back to Kyzer, putting it under Kyzer’s head, like a pillow. Then he grabs the other block. And the microphone.Matt Steel: Oh for god’s sake, he’s going to kill him! Matthew Werner: I thought EBR spearing Alex was violent, for god’s sake, he’s going to smash Kyzer’s skull! Schneider raises the block high above his head with one arm. He’s about to bring it down. He raises the microphone to his lips.Phillip Schneider: Michael.. I think I’ve proven my point.. I can end you. I can end you whenever I want to. I can pick my moment and I can end you. But now.. Now isn’t my moment. What fun is it for the cat to just kill the mouse when he catches it? The cat wants to play with the mouse a little bit, torture it a little bit, enjoy it’s capture. And while I COULD smash your head like a watermelon right now, on national TV, what fun would that be? You wouldn’t even see it coming. You DIDN’T see it coming, when I neutralized you with condensed tetracaine. See, while you’ve spent the last few years doing.. God knows what.. I spent my time away from the WFWF studying medicine. Not professionally or anything.. Just for recreational purposes, you know? Situations like this. Schneider tosses the block away, up and over the top rope and to the arena floor, where it shatters with a mighty crash of dust. He walks back over to the championship belt, grabbing it and carrying it back over to Kyzer.Phillip Schneider: So Michael, while figuratively speaking, I could have driven that block into your face, smashed your brain into mush, and ended you right there, that’s not much fun. It’s more fun to crumble your dynasty. Your life isn’t worth anything. What good is it to take your life when your life holds no value to you? What fun is that to me? I’m not going to kill you Michael. That’d be too easy. I want to damage you. I want to leave you to suffer in your own pitiful existence, a ruined man, the same way you’ve ruined so many people in the past. This is vengeance, Michael. The first step is taking that championship that you never earned away from you. See you Sunday. Sleep tight. Schneider throws the championship belt down across Kyzer’s chest, then casually exits the ring. The camera zooms in on Kyzer, out cold, on the slab, as we fade out.[/center]

So...yeah. These turned out quite a bit better than I had expected. As always, big props to Bennett, Schneider, Drakz, Munroe, Nitta, Shaw, Raider and the mystery returner in one of the promos. Haha.

A few notes:
I liked Drake's debut and how he was portrayed in his match as a beast that led to the set up between him, King, and a returning O'Deeves at the PPV for the #1 Contendership to the National Title.
I also like the idea of defending the National Title each week, should be interesting.
Also with O'Deeves return, we got a mystery return segment and the return of Richard Shaw.. Things are heating up!
Looking forward to Kyzer/ Schneider and the stipulation is a nice touch as well as Drakz/ Demon in the finals for the International Championship.
The segment with Ace and I was supposed to go after his match with Schneider, but it's all good, thanks for including it.
Great show, nice work everyone. Lots of great segments and matches here. Looking forward to 'IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!'
