New WFWF No Show Policy Official Thread
As many of you know, no showing has been causing us as owners problems for the past couple shows. No showing can be held somewhat responsible for the confusion regarding the PPV card, because one particular no-show kinda screwed us over in terms of plans. Now that we feel I am fully stable as an owner (for the most part), we think this problem should be address, in a more direct way. We're going to outline the no show procedure here, so it is clear to everyone.
First off, we are going to wipe everyone's slate clean in regards to no-shows, so no need to worry about no-showing for It's Super Effective. However, this is now in effect starting this show.
You are eligible to be booked if:
What constitutes a no-show:
Notice how I underline valid. I think Shawn and myself will be very lenient in terms of what is a valid reason, but if it becomes an every show occurrence with the same reason, it's not going to be accepted.
What happens if I no-show one match?
It's not a big deal. Stuff happens. However, under our no-show policy, your name will be added to a list on this post. This is your first strike. And of course, you lose your match. You can have your name removed from this list by posting a RP for three consecutive matches. By doing so, it will be as if you never no-showed in the first place.
Users With One Strike:
mrdxw1213 (DeVante Parker)
benjf35 (Stephen Carter)
goose (Brandon Napalm)
Raider (Raider)**
Digsy (Steven Fowler)
y2jbestever (Leo Krause)
L (Daniel Sabat)
Ben - #6 Munchie (Oscar Conrad Davidson)
What happens if I no-show a second match?
Once again, we will let it slide. However, take note that you now have two strikes. To get removed from the list of having two strikes, you have to show for five consecutive matches, at which point you will be downgraded to having just one strike (and yes, you have to show for three more matches after that to get removed from the one strike list).
Users With Two Strikes:
StingerSplash (AJ King)
BGH (Dane Tombs)
Likwid [[Southern]] (Charles Colton)
Progwd (Grave Digger, Randel Benjamin, and Dave Demento)
Thunder (Thunder)
Jasmine (Jasmine)
Yes Animations (Dashing R)
Kyzer (Michael Kyzer)
Mikers (Slanted, Enchanted, and Scarlet)
What happens if I no-show a third match?
Strike three, you're out. Well, not completely out, but let's call it "suspended." When you have three strikes, your name will be removed from the Roll Call, and will be ineligible for future bookings. And it's not just for the one character, it is for all of the individual writer's characters. No exceptions.
To become eligible again, you must post a minimum 1000 word character development RP, and re-sign the Roll Call after doing so. Again, no exceptions.
Users With Three Strikes:
Drake Elias (Drake Elias)
thebillkidwell (Bill Kidwell)
Pain XIII (Pain)
Number of Asterisks indicates how many consecutive shows the person has shown for.
We plan on updating this post after every show, to keep up with no-shows and how many strikes people have. We hope enforcing this more strictly will prevent no-shows.

You are eligible to be booked if:
- You are an active roster member in the WFWF.
- Your character's name is on the Roll Call. From now on, we will only book your character, if it is on the Roll Call list.
- You have not exhausted your strikes in the No-Show Policy.
What constitutes a no-show:
- You are eligible to be booked for a show. (obviously)
- You are booked on a show, and subsequently do not RP for said show before stated deadline. (again, obviously)
- You have no valid reason to not show.
- You have a valid reason to not show, but you do not inform either of the owners.
Notice how I underline valid. I think Shawn and myself will be very lenient in terms of what is a valid reason, but if it becomes an every show occurrence with the same reason, it's not going to be accepted.
