I was just watching Greatest Superstars of the 21st Century on Netflix, and it made me think about Jeff Hardy and how much potential he still has in the WWE.
The dude's made a lot of mistakes, I don't think anyone can disagree with that. But when I see things like the image of Taker shaking his hand and it's just a 'you're a crazy bastard' kind of respect, and the way the crowd was with Hardy...
I think with peoples' consistent complaints about (and being tired of) John Cena, Randy Orton and with Rey Mysterio on his way out soon enough, I feel like in the next year or two, Jeff could (and I think WOULD) be welcomed back with open arms by the WWE as long as he continues to be clean as he seems to be now.
I really do like the guy, and I'm one of the fans who is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, I know a LOT of people still write him off, but I've been impressed with his latest turn in TNA...but I think he's meant to be bigger than that. Maybe the biggest superstar period, as I think he would be right now had he stayed clean and with the WWE.
I just feel like it's almost time for that transition to happen as it always does, where it officially becomes the 'next generations' time. Where HHH and Taker don't headline Wrestlemania anymore, but Punk, Cena et all, do. And I believe that Hardy deserves to be in that group. When I watch the next one in 9 years, I hope he ends up being on it.

Sobriety is really the only thing preventing that from happening. A lot of people would love to see it, but he's just as much a wildcard out of the ring as he is ins it. Yes, if he can stay clean, then he would be welcomed back, but there's no guarantee that can happen. That said, if I were Vince, I'd trust him before I ever trusted Matt again.

I'm done with the guy. I mean I wish him the best, and I hope he can get his addictions under control, but I absolutely hate the fact that a guy of his character is being looked up to by kids. While i appreciate his impact on the business, I just can't give anymore second chances to the guy. Perhaps that will change, but I doubt it.

I always loved his daredevil stunts but he was always pretty awful in-ring. Not to mention his issues with drugs and his inability to care even a little bit about being a WWE star. I wouldn't really want to see him back but I do appreciate all those big bumps he took and the memories that he left.

At this point for me, it's not weather I'd like to see him back or not. I really just don't care. I am 100% apathetic in regards to Jeff Hardy's professional wrestling career. Not sure that will ever change.

I hope to never see him back. I never got why people go crazy for him, and he's not good for business. He can't be trusted. WWE has already trusted him at least 3 times to get back on track, and he blew it all 3 times. He blew it when he left WWE in '03, he blew it when he came back and failed wellness tests, and he blew it again when he got arrested not even a week after he left WWE on basically good terms.

I pretty much gave up on him. It's sad for me to say because he was one of my favorites but he's blown too many chances for me to take him seriously as a wrestler anymore.

As said, i was a huge hardy fan, but i just don't know if he can stay clean enough to make it worth him being around. I'd love to see him back, i just hate that disapointment of him coming, messing up his life and going again.

I'm as big of a Hardy mark as anybody, but I'll be the honest one and say he's way past his prime. 99-02 Jeff Hardy was much, much faster and lighter in the ring than 06-09 Jeff Hardy. Without that, he was very sloppy. I enjoyed his company always as a fan, but if he were to really carry the company in some way, it would have been in his first stint.

The guy is mega-popular and has been given a lot but always manages to mess everything up for himself. I used to be a huge fan of the guy but much like Kurt Angle, his drug abuse and behavior has made me sour on him.

Jeff could have been the WWE's biggest merchandise mover. I think his impact at this point would be limited, even if he was given another WWE title run. To many people have turned on him and his behavior. It sad how much potential and charisma he had to ruin his career.

I was a huge Hardy fan until the Victory Road debacle.
Now I hate his guts and won't watch his segments.

I always liked Jeff..But I doubt he could stay sober long enough to have 1 last good run in WWE..It just seems like he cares more about drugs and alcohol than wrestling

Jeff Hardy has lost his place in the WWE, though i would love for him to come back and PROVE ME Wrong.
I believe this is true..that Jeff Hardy fought a main event..for the tna world title..against one of the BEST of the WCW days STING..legendary STING. While on the match...he was on drugs, and he could barely do the match..if do the match at all. I also believe he barely remembers the match...wow. idk i believe its true..but i may have a loss of direction on that..someone wanna clue me in for verification?
Either way...THIS IS JEFF HARDY.
