The show opens with the usual fireworks and intro. The announcers welcome everyone to the show.
Theodore Long walks out, and his mini tron proudly says "General Manager of SmackDown! & RAW. He walks to the ring, and begins talking about how his team was superior, not just in skill, but in heart. They all hadn't achieved much, but at the same time had achieved much respect from fans and peers. One especially.....
The crowd goes wild as RVD makes his return to WWE RAW. He slides into the ring, and does his signature pose. He shakes Teddy's hand. Teddy goes on to say that he can promise RVD will get the chances he deserves- but of course, they are interrupted. Dolph Ziggler comes to the ring, and calls RVD an ECW wash-up, and tells Teddy that HE deserves more chances, as opposed to some old guy who hasn't been in the WWE for more than 3 years. Teddy long cuts him off, and says he's going to make a number on contenders match for the Big Show's Intercontinental Champion. Wow, not a tag team match.
#1 Contenders Match: RVD def. Dolph ZigglerThis match was pretty much all RVD's. It could maybe even qualify to be a squash. RVD shows he's still got it, and is not some "wash up". He hits the five star frog splash, and pins Ziggler for the win. After the match, RVD celebrates with his fans.
After the match, we see a red Lamborghini pull in to the parking lot. The door opens up, and out comes the Great One. The crowd starts cheering as he begins walking to the stage.
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
When we come back, the arena is almost silent. Then it goes dark, very dark.
IF YA SMELL! WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN'!The lights turn on abruptly, and the crowd goes insane. The Rock walks down to the ring, no poses, no nothing. He takes a mic, and looks straight into the camera.
He says that John Cena is a damn fruity pebble, a kung pow bitch who doesn't deserve to be in the ring with most of the guys he has been. But then, the Rock's voice gets a little louder. He say that even through all of that, he respects Cena. Cena beat him fair and square, no cheating, no underhanded tactics. They both put it all out there. It was real wrestling. The Rock looks straight into the camera again. He thanks Cena for giving him the greatest challenge of his life, and he walks to the back.
Justin Gabriel def. David OtungaMaybe it was because he lost at WrestleMania, but Otunga was off his game. Gabriel very easily beat down his former WrestleMania 28 opponent and Nexus partner. He hit a picture perfect 450, and pinned Otunga. As Gabriel celebrates, static erupts across the screen. Words are splayed across a black background....
Static shuts the picture out, and the crowd is deathly silent. What did that mean? The end in one year? Who was behind it?
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
WrestleMania Rematch for Divas Title
Kelly Kelly def. Beth PhoenixFueled by her loss at WM, Kelly actually put on a good showing. She was dominated by Beth at the beginning, but began rising up, slowly fighting back and Beth tired out. Kelly rolls up Beth, and wins the Divas Championship. After her match, we see a promo highlighting what happened at the HIAC Triple Threat match last night. After the promo, we hear the telling guitar, and Triple H walks to the ring. He had to get 10 stitches in his lip after the barbed wire covered Socko. He goes on to say that the only reason he didn't win is because of Mick Foley's biased referee-ing. He says that next WrestleMania he will-
The crash echoes throughout the arena, and Mick Foley walks out. He to has a mic. Mick says that Triple H won't have another chance at the Undertaker, as he had three chances to do so, and failed. They get in each others faces, but then the lights go out. When they come back on ,the Undertaker is behind Triple H. But, however, when they realize the Undertaker is there, the lights turn back off. Once back on, the Undertaker is on the ground, unconscious, and Triple H and Mick Foley stare, dumbfounded at what just happened.
-Commercial Break-
Mark Henry def. SantinoThis match was a real squash. Mark hit Santino with a headbutt, then a world's strongest slam to get the win over the US Champion.
We get a reply of what just happened to the Undertaker. We go backstage to see Josh Mathews trying to get Triple H to talk about what happened. No luck, as Triple H gets in his limo and drives off.
Epico and Primo def. R-BoomThis match looked to be a step up from the normal tag matches. The guys did pretty good against each other, and it was equal throughout. However, Epico and Primo gained the upper hand and won the match.
We go backstage to see Chris Jericho walking to the ring. Around his waist, he doesn't have the regular WWE championship... he has his own version.
-Commercial Break-
Chris Jericho def. John CenaJohn Cena didn't have any words at all tonight, something odd considering he beat the Rock. The match was really good, back and forth action. The WWE champion was gaining the upper hand, and just when he was about to hit the Codebreaker, Cena moved, and hit Jericho with the AA. Cena tried to pin, but Jericho kicked out. When Cena tried to get in the STF, Jericho was able to quickly slip out of it and hit the Codebreaker. He gets the pin.
While he's celebrating, CM Punk runs into the ring and hits the GTS on an unsuspecting Jericho. He stands over Jericho, fuming, and we end this Monday's RAW.
