Last week, Kurt Angle shocked the world; Kurt Angle Angle Slams Rob Van Dam! But the former Olympic Champion found himself out numbered later in the night; Kurt Angle is forced to fight off against both Sabu and Rob Van Dam. Yet, it was the "Man Beast" Rhyno who was the last man standing; Rhyno hits the ring and Gores everyone that moves! And proclaimed himself the true ECW Heavyweight Champion!
Let the bodies' hit the floor
The crowd is on their feet chanting “ECW” as Joey Styles welcomes us to ECW on Sci-Fi live from Roanoke, Virginia! Tonight, Paul Heyman will discuss the ECW Heavyweight Championship situation, the Full Blooded Italians will address injuring Big Show, but first Sabu will take on Super Crazy!
Sabu versus Super Crazy
After losing their respective matches last week, both men are looking to gain some momentum tonight. This match was exceptional and proves these two veterans can still go. Crazy takes to the air several times with impressive moonsaults and crossbodies. Sabu claims the highspot of the match, however, connecting with a triple jump arabian skullcrusher through a table on the outside. The action continues and Super Crazy looks to be mounting a huge comeback, but Yoshihiro Tajiri comes out and distracts Crazy, allowing Sabu to win with a camel clutch.
Winner: Sabu | Submission | 9:19 | B+
Following the match, Tajiri enters the ring and quickly gets into the face of Sabu. Out of nowhere, two men in black suits hit the ring and begin to attack Sabu. Akio! Sakoda! Kyo Dai! The duo takes down Sabu, before viciously attacking Super Crazy. The two hold Crazy up as Tajiri spits a black mist into his eyes. Crazy falls to the match as Tajiri and Kyo Dai stand tall.
---------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -----------
Video from the June 24th house show airs: Big Show is wrestling Little Guido. During the match, Big Guido storms the ring and hits Show in the head with a steel chair. Following the shot, Show falls to the outside and is motionless as EMTs race out to assist The World's Largest Athlete.
The Full Bloodied Italians are standing in front of an ECW banner. Little Guido begins by recounting the match from the weekend's house show. He talks about how the FBI has been targeting Big Show ever since he attacked them at One Night Stand, but they quickly won this war! Big Show is now out for twelve months! "Your welcome, ladies and gentleman." He continues, saying Big Show doesn't represent ECW, and he can no longer disgrace what the FBI has spent years trying to build. Guido says now that Show is out, it is time to reinvent tag team wrestling and once again make ECW the most revolutionary brand in professional wrestling!
"Enter Sandman" hits as Sandman makes the most exciting entrance in all of professional wrestling. The beer cans are cracked open, and soon beer and blood is splattering everywhere.
Sandman versus C.W Anderson
This the second encounter between these two men, an much more brutal than the first. Stiff punches and wild brawling excites the crowd. Sandman has the early advantage, but Anderson quickly took control. The match spills into the crowd and up a flight of stairs to the lower-deck seating. Out of nowhere, Anderson plants Sandman with a sickening spinebuster onto the concrete, then kicks him, causing him to tumble down the flight of stairs! Anderson walks down and pins Sandman for the victory!

A vignette airs hyping the Straight-Edge C.M Punk!
Paul Heyman hits the ring. He talks about how exciting ECW has been these last few weeks, but as expected there is a little bit of controversy. Two men, Rhyno and Rob Van Dam, are claiming to be ECW Heavyweight Champion and both men have a right to the claim. On the other hand, Kurt Angle is the number one contender, and eagerly awaiting his chance at the title. But he doesn't need to hype this situation any longer, because this is Extreme Championship Wrestling and this issue is going to be solved right here, right now!
Kurt Angle versus Rob Van Dam versus Rhyno
ECW Heavyweight Championship
Two ECW Heavyweight Champions, one number one contender, and one phenomenal match. All three men are determined to outdo one another and become the ECW Heavyweight Champion. No one gains a clear advantage in the opening and the match remains very competitive throughout. Van Dam hits a beautiful Van Daminator on Angle, busting him open, but Rhyno breaks the pinfall. Before the break, Rhyno nearly breaks Van Dam in half with a powerbomb off the steel steps onto a trashcan.
---------- COMMERCIAL BREAK -----------
Returning from the break, a table has been set up on the outside and a ladder is inside the ring. Angle uses the ladder to knock Rhyno, followed by Van Dam springboard dropkicking the ladder into Angle. All three men continue to be offensive, with everyman getting the chance to shine. Later, Rhyno brings a table inside the ring, but Van Dam plants him with a chair. RVD sets the table up and places Rhyno on top. Van Dam sets up the ladder, and begins to climb, looking for the Five Star Frog Slash. Out of nowhere, Kurt Angle knocks over the ladder, causing Van Dam to plummet through the table on the outside of the ring! The crowd chants, "holy sh*t" when suddenly Rhyno hits Angle with the Gore! Rhyno hooks the leg 1...2...3!!
Winner: Rhyno | Pinfall | 17:23 | A
Following the match, Rhyno is awarded the ECW Heavyweight championship. He celebrates as the crowd jeers and cheers. Joey Styles says history has just been made, as Tazz warns the locker room that the "Man Beast" is once again on top, and will not be an easy man to derail.
