Meh, whatever... It's not like he ever had a chance at becoming a main eventer or top champion in the WWE anyway. Drugs or not, he has jobber written all over him.

Yeah, drugs aren't a big deal, but doing something wrong once and repeating that mistake just weeks later makes him an idiot. I don't think anyone is saying that he's a bad guy, just an idiot. I agree with that. But people giving it all this 'job him out and fire him' crap annoy me. Yeah, let's do that to Regal, R-Truth, Ziggler, and everyone else who's ever failed a wellness test too. He, like everyone else, has three chances. He should get one more chance. If he fails again, then sure, he deserves to be fired. 3 times is taking the piss a bit.

They should be more strict, just to set a clear example. Why does it need to be 3 times?? That's a bit excessive, in my opinion. I think if you fail more than once, you should be out the door. He's failed twice so far. I think he should be fired.
Just wait, he'll fail again. Give it about 2 weeks and we'll read about how he failed yet again...

Well...in my opinion...drugs ARE a big deal.
Also, I don't think anybody ever said ANYTHING about past drug users in this topic.
This topic is about Evan Bourne, therefore we are talking about Evan Bourne.

I'm sorry but this has to be the most ridiculous post I've read all day. Some of you people have no clue when it comes to things like this.

^ Says the guy defending a druggie...Sure thing, pal. I know I've mentioned this before, but... WWE would probably have closed down if they had a strict wellness policy back in the days of the 'Old School.' Imagine that.

I'm not taking either side but I will say this and let you guys continue...
There are literally HUNDREDS and THOUSANDS of pro wrestlers who would give ANYTHING to make it to the WWE. It's just a shame that those who are already there can't appreciate it enough to do something as simple as staying off drugs.
These guys know there are random drug tests. These guys know they are subject to test. These guys know the consequences for failing a test.
Stay off the drugs, keep your job, live your dream.
If you don't, there are 100 drug-free guys waiting in line who will take your place.
That is all.

I like Evan Bourne, I think he is a good worker, and solid contributor at the tag team and midcard level. I hope he comes back after Mania or becomes a featured star if they end up doing that cruiserweight show.
Was he stupid, twice, yep, but I still want him back.
I'm not worried about Bourne at all though if he gets released. He will find a home in ROH or TNA, who desperately needs more X-Talent, pretty quickly.

But, fact is, loads of other wrestlers have failed wellness tests (some more than once), and there's probably plenty that have failed but don't face the consequences (I find it hard to believe that Batista never did steroids). Bourne is in the wrong, sure, but like I said, I don't remember people calling for William Regal, RVD, Randy Orton, Brian Kendrick or anyone else to be fired for drugs.

^ Oh, I know and I'm not defending them one single bit. They were all taking tons of stuff back in the day and it was terrible. It probably shortened their life span which is why a great number of them are dead now....
What's wrong with wanting the drug tests being more strict?? I see no problem with that at all. It would straighten the guys out, hopefully, and make them take it more seriously because right now, they aren't.
Evan Bourne sure takes the testing seriously, right??...Lol...

I'm up for anybody being fired if they want to be dumbasses and ruin their career. It could be Daniel Bryan or CM Punk but luckily those two live clean lifestyles so we don't need to worry. If anyone wants to be a dumbass and ruin their life, then so be it. I'm not going to back them just because they're one of my favorites. Hell, Bourne was one of my favorites at one time and I was really enjoying his run with Kofi as Air Boom but he ed that up.

If he manages to get back up to where he was I'd be surprised.

WWE should fire him. He's a good high-flyer, but nothing more. He's a HELLUVA jobber!

Wasn't it said that he failed the second time for something unrelated to the K2? I think if he really wants another chance, they should give him one. If they wanted a two strike policy, they would have one. It's 3 for a reason. Give him one last chance.

I was bummed when he was first suspended but now I've lost interest. I hope for his sake he doesn't go to waste though.
