Teenage Alien Mutant Turtles. Michael Bay, you are really starting to piss me off. How can you not show the little kid tripping, and dropping his bowl of turtles in the sewer? No somehow they now reside in Cybertron.

Well, there goes my excitement of wanting to see this film. I mean, I was already slightly disappointed when Michael Bay was part of the film, but I was still willing to give it a chance.

Now all it needs is a little boy named Elliot instead of Casey Jones and we're set. Or maybe it will be Christopher Jones~who's now a marine. The movie will focus on him, his fellow troops and his love interest April. They find out about the turtles who are being hidden and used as weapons by the fbi as they track another big bad alien 'The Shredder.' Leonardo is a mute and the other turtles have about four minutes of dialog....the big climax is an alien invasion on the city led by Shredder with tons of explosions.... they are thwarted by the military with the turtles thrown in there somewhere......inbetween there can be some sex jokes....then of course a 're-imagined' sequel a few years later featuring new characters.... |

This movie will be two hours of crapblowing up along with pointless slow motion shots of a kid yelling "LEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOO!!"

I am a huge Turtles fan and I will keep an open mind for this, sometime changing things up can be good. I am looking at this as just another take on something I love so who know it may end up being great. I never understand these people who claim that there childhood is being "raped" when stuff like this happens. I mean if this movie really is ing terrible I don't see how it can effect you memories of Ninja Turtles before it happened or even how you feel about the animated series and other movies. |

I never really had any issues with MB, I enjoyed all three of his Transformers movies but he can seriously go himself for screwing around with the TMNT origin. Seriously, WTF is going on in that head of his? The main thing about the TMNT and how they came to be is that they were transformed by mutagenetic ooze, why in 's name would you completely 360 their origin like that and think it's okay and that no one would complain? I hope he ends up ruining his career with this idiocy. Either that or he ends up blowing himself up during one of his shoots before this abomination can even see the light of day. Whichever comes first. |

I agree 100%. It's not like this movie will end up retconning every other TMNT origin story; it's just a different take for this one movie. Am I thrilled that he's going this route? Not really, but I'm not going to write off the whole thing just because he felt like doing something different for their origins in just this one particular continuity. I'll wait to see how it's all handled before I pass judgement. |

It's nerds overreacting, that's really the gist of it. The way I see it is, Michael Bay makes good action movies, so if nothing else, this new incarnation will be a really kick ass action movie. If it sucks, we still have 3 other live action TMNT movies, the CGI movie, the comics, the old cartoon series, the NEW cartoon series, AND the live action series. But yes.... your childhoods are being "raped".... |
