The Hangover Part III will be the last movie in the series.
Director Todd Phillips, who helmed the first two films and will return for the third, confirmed yesterday that the franchise would conclude with its third instalment.
He said in a statement: "I'm so excited to embark on another Hangover film with Bradley, Ed and Zach.
"We're going to surprise a lot of people with the final chapter we have planned. It will be a fitting conclusion to our three-part opera of mayhem, despair and bad decisions."
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis will all return for the third film, which is expected to begin production in September.
The combined box office success of the first two Hangover movies has made this a billion-dollar franchise.
The Hangover Part III is due for release in the US on May 24, 2013.

I was disappointed in 2, but I am hoping they can wrap up the series with a high note.

Ok cool. Shocked I remembered his name. I usually just end up calling him Riley because I can't remember his real name.

The first was the best so far and the second was just okay. I'm going to watch it anyways to see how they all end up.

I'm surprised they picked that release date with Fast and Furious 6 already in place for that weekend.

As much as I disliked the first times I'm still very much looking forward to this conclusion. He's promised a wild ride and I hope the film lives up to it.

Yeah, the final movie of the series... before it makes a crapload of money and they make a fourth one.
