Totally agree - I'm always surprised when I see people's "most wanted" in the Flashback line are for a retro versions of Shawn, Undertaker, Warrior (etc.)... we already have great figures of these guys(!). I'd much rather have brand new figures like Diesel, Razor, Mankind, Goldberg, Brutas Beefcake, Honky Tonk Man, Earthquake etc. etc. But the popular guys are always going to be the most requested. We haven't had a decent elite style legends version HBK. Undertaker also hasn't had a figure with his grey or purple gloves which were both pretty iconic attires. Yeah... I'd like those figures too - it's just I'd rather have brand new guys. Ideally, I'd love Mattel to do what they did in Series 12... have a earlier/iconic version of a current or popular guy (ie. Stone Cold, Undertaker, HBK, etc.) and also a brand new guy.

I may not be totally right on this, but I recall Mattel saying something along the lines of WWE preferring that figures of current active guys are of their present look or persona. While we have had exceptions to that rule, such as Flashback Kane, it does seem to be the case for many other collector wants - like Flashback Christian, ABA Undertaker etc. Still, with Shawn being retired and Undertaker still having a few iconic looks which haven't been explored by Mattel yet, I have to imagine we'll be seeing those ones soon.

...just ordered DDP fom Matty. I figured I won't get him any cheaper, and I don't really mind the long wait - as long as he gets here eventually!

Check your emails people, just got word an hour ago that my DDP has been shipped. Going off of the Andre thread, this means I should receive it by November next year.

Well, this is a surprise. Just got my DDP in the mail, so you guys should hopefully be seeing yours within the next few days.
Mine was dispatched on the 12th, so it's only taken a fortnight to get here. I've had quicker with other items and different sites, but after reading the André horror stories I'm actually pretty happy to have it this soon.
If I can expect this kind of speed with the other Legends then I'll definitely stick to MattyCollector, even if it means risking a customs charge.

I've got a slip from the Post Office today for a brown box - must be DDP.
Will find out tomorrow when I pick it up. Not bad at all if it is, pretty fast compared to Andre, although my Rockers figures only took 10 days when I ordered them.

I got a red slip today, then an hour later the postman delivered more stuff so I assumed that was what he tried to deliver earlier. Wonder if the red slip was DDP though?
