Next week Monday, 2 April, 2012, the Legends figure of DDP will go on sale on MattyCollector.
Just a bit curious as to who is going to order the figure that same day? As for me, I think that I am going to pass, and that I will order it along with the Bundy figure in a few weeks time only to save a little bit on shipping. I am absolutely not convinced that the DDP figure will sell out just like Andre and The Rockers, so why the hurry?
Another important thing that made me decide not to order right away is the fact that my Andre's only arrived last week (which was really ridiculous as I ordered them on 30 January). I mean, if I would have known that it would take that long, I could have ordered Andre along with DDP....know what I mean?
Anyway, thoughts??

I will prob order DDP on release day - i'm gonna order the SDCC Undertaker with it as I couldnt afford it with Andre. And some more deluxe stands.

I probably won't be bothering with any more of the announced Legends until Miss 'liz (if they haven't botched her too!) is released. Like many, I wasn't impressed much when the 2012 line-up was announced, but, thought I might have had my mind changed by quality figures. Not so. DDP is quite poor, IMO. Collectors will no doubt get the blame when the line is cancelled (I think its only a matter of time) and the complaining begins.  Oh, and going on this thread alone, how poor has the service been? Pleased to learn that you finally received your Andre though! |

So if I am going to order a Legends DDP alone, it for sure won't be from Matty. I'll probably going to pick one up in either the Classifieds on here or Ebay. Pay a little bit more on shipping, but at least I won't have to wait 7 or 8 weeks for the figure to arrive! |

I actually completely forgot about DDP being released the first week of April. Doubt I'll order it through Matty after reading so many posts from unhappy customers, plus I really only have enough money to get Elite 14 for now. The Legends line will be a lot harder to come by over here but I've just ordered my Andre from another source so I'm sure being patient will ultimately pay off.
If it comes to it, as has been pointed out I can always just wait an extra 8 weeks and order 2 Legends at once to cut down on shipping costs.

I'll order it on release day, if I can afford to. I don't really want Bundy, and ordering two figures together would probably result in a customs charge for me anyway.

I'll probably wait a bit and order him and Bundy together... might even wait until Arn and Tully too. I'm not too impressed by the line-up but I'd still love it to continue, so will support it - some Legends figures are better than none at all(!).

I'll probably order a DDP but I certainly won't be buying any in for AS-Selling.com, that's for sure. For those of you interested, I made 40p on the Andre I bought to sell on my site. 40p. Somebody clicked an advert on my site this morning and earned me 77p... So basically I waited 7 weeks for a crap payoff. The things I do for my lovely customers >   Just gonna stick with main releases from now on, I reckon. Less hassle. Could all us collectors on here just keep clicking through those ads multiple times, or does it only count unique hits? Would love to see you get off the ground with your site and give people an alternative. |

His facial hair and eye brows are going to need some work but hopefully after that he'll look better. They really need to be darker.

It's probably against the TOS anyway so I wouldn't even condone it haha. But the good news is, I got a job! So I'm gonna have a lot more money to put into the business and I can also begin collecting again, through my business, so things might be on the up and up for good old AS-Selling! Then again, I've just been shafted by Royal Mail and their price increases, so I dunno  Nice to hear, good work.  |
