WWE.com had an update on Christian saying that he re-aggravated a prior neck injury during the fight with WWE Champion CM Punk on RAW Supershow. Christian has been pulled from WrestleMania 28 and replaced on Team Laurinaitis by Drew McIntyre.
F4Wonline.com reports that Christian was pulled from WrestleMania because his ankle is not 100%. When WWE made the match, they thought Christian would be ready to go but he's not.

It's a 12 man tag match though, he could have still been in the match and not done anything. Bad deal for Christian though. That's two Mania's in a row now that he won't be wrestling at.

It's better for him to be healthy than to be in that match that pretty much means nothing for him. Christian has been in higher profile Mania matches than that tag match, far more. Let him get better so he can come back and feud with Sheamus, Orton, etc. when he is good to go.

Meh. He could take that beatdown from Punk, and getting beat down is really all he'd need to do at WrestleMania.

They are probably nervous with how an injury ended edge's career, and don't want to take any chances.

They are probably nervous with how an injury ended edge's career, and don't want to take any chances. I could be mistaken, but an ankle injury is far less serious than a neck injury. |

After watching the match, it looked like he was taking it easy whilst walking to the ring & coming off the turnbuckle etc. Sucks that he'll miss WM. But a Punk/Christian feud sounds really good to me  |

Well I look forward to his re-return. Hes got some good years left in him and I would love to see him be WWE Champ on RAW before he retires.

I don't know the extent of the injury but I would be bummed if I were pulled from the buggest show of the year.
