American Airlines Arena Miami, Florida April 2nd, 2012 WWE Presents: Monday Night RAW Supershow
A video package recapping the events of WrestleMania 28 last night at the Sunlife Stadium in Miami was broadcasted prior to the opening package of Monday Night RAW. It mainly highlighted the historic Hell in a Cell battle between Undertaker and Triple H, CM Punk retaining against Chris Jericho and The Rock defeating John Cena.
Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome us to the fallout edition of Monday Night RAW Supershow just before ‘Cult of Personality’ is played throughout the arena and the WWE Champion CM Punk makes his way down to the ring to a large ovation. CM Punk, microphone in hand, gets straight to the point and reminds us that last night on the Grandest Stage of them All he defeated Chris Jericho to retain his WWE Championship and prove that he is the one and only ‘Best in the World’. Punk admits that Jericho almost had him at the start of the match with the personal attacks on his family, Punk tells us that he almost blew it and let his feelings get the best of him but that he was able to keep it cool and funnel that aggression and anger into a violent crusade of kicks, strikes and moves on Jericho to ultimately help him retain his WWE Championship. Punk says that Jericho can whinge, make excuses, blame the referee, blame the ring, blame the fans, blame the ropes, blame whatever the hell he wants but at the end of the day Jericho tapped out to the Anaconda Vice. This draws out Chris Jericho to a negative reaction from the crowd, who chant ‘You tapped out’ at Jericho as he makes his way to the ring. Jericho tells Punk that he is wrong, and that Jericho agrees that last night CM Punk won fair and square, he defeated him in the middle of the ring and that last night Punk was the better man. Jericho admits that he tried to anger Punk to the point that he would get himself disqualified and lose the title last night but it didn’t work. Jericho tells Punk that he wants to congratulate him on his big win last night. Punk doesn’t buy this though and asks what’s the ‘but’ the ‘however’, what is the catch. Jericho says that the catch is that just because Punk was the better man last night doesn’t mean that he’s going to give up his hunt of the WWE Championship and that infact he spoke to John Laurinitis earlier today and Johnny, the generous guy that he is, gave Jericho the chance at getting a rematch against CM Punk for the WWE Championship due to the show stealing performance the two of them put on at WrestleMania and all he has to do tonight is beat Punk tonight in a tag team match with a partner of their own choosing. Chris reminds Punk that he doesn’t take the WWE Championship lightly and that he will be pulling out all the stops to ensure that the WWE Championship will be around his waist. Punk says that Jericho shouldn’t expect any less from him either. Jericho extended his hand to Punk and Punk looked reluctant to accept it, but as he went too, Chris pulled his hand back and quickly left the ring, winking at Punk.
-commercial break-
Back from the commercial we recap the conversation between CM Punk and Chris Jericho before the break in which we were informed that the two would face in tag team action later on in the night. Justin Roberts is seen in the ring and he announces the arrival of the General Manager of RAW and SmackDown and Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis. Laurinitis welcomes the WWE Universe to a new era, the Laurinaitis Era. Laurinaitis promises excitement night in and night out following his teams big win at WrestleMania last night. John says that before he gets to anything else he wants to invite Theodore Long out to the ring. Sure enough, Teddy's music hits and he comes down to the ring, Laurinaitis thanks Teddy for joining him. Long takes his opportunity to speak and tells John Laurinaitis that last night his win was all down to the face that Zack Ryder was distracted by Eve, and that Eve's motives all along were to cost them the match. Laurinitis says that it doesn't matter now, because at the end of the day Long's team lost and that means that Teddy is no longer in charge so there is nothing he can do. Long calls Laurinaitis bias and unfair. John says that he is offended by the accussations and a minute ago he just finished arranging a match for SmackDown that see's two of Long's team members Kofi Kingston and R-Truth facing Primo and Epico for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Laurinaitis then calls for security to escort Teddy away from the ring, as he has been deeply offended and he doesn't want Long in his ring any longer. Johnny goes onto say that what he came out here to announce is that due to their spectacular performance last night every member of Team Johnny will be getting a Championship Match, starting tonight as Santino Marella will defend his United States Championship versus Laurainitis' legal advisor David Otunga right now!
United States Champion Santino Marella def. David Otunga to retain the WWE United States Championship A short match here for the United States Championship. Otunga bullied Santino around the ring for a bit until Marella got on a roll and jumped out of the Verdict to strike with the Cobra and retain his Championship.
Santino begins to celebrate his succesful defense and revenge from his loss last night as part of Team Teddy but it is quickly cut short by Laurinaitis. John apologizes to Santino and says that he forgot to add that this match is a guantlet match so Marella has a second opponent right now.
United States Champion Santino Marella def. Drew McIntyre to retain the United States Championship This match was slightly longer than the first and McIntyre dominated it's entirety, wrecking Santino with suplex after suplex. However, as McIntyre set up for the Future Shock, Santino rolled through Drew's legs and into a pinning predicament for the three.
Santino, exhausted from the beaten he had taken from McIntyre, rested himself in the corner holding his United States Championship, hoping that this was the last he would have to defend it tonight. Unfortunately, Laurinaitis was back on the mic to congratulate Marella's efforts so far and that to keep his title he would only have to defeat one more opponent in this Guantlet.
Mark Henry def. United States Champion Santino Marella to WIN the United States Championship Santino was in no physical condition to be competing against the Worlds Strongest Man, but at the end of the day the General Manager's decision is final. Santino connected with the Cobra straight away but too no affect, as Santino was too weak to add any power. Mark Henry hoisted Santino right up for the World's Strongest Slam and with that we had a NEW United States Champion.
John Laurinaitis climbed into the ring to hold Mark Henry's hand above his head and personally congratulate the new United States Champion. It seemed clear to the WWE Universe that the time under Laurinaitis' power would be very shady.
-commercial break-
Eve is shown backstage with Josh Mathews, Mathews' asked what exactly Ryder did to make Eve deliver a low blow to him and cost him his match last night at WrestleMania. Eve tells Mathews' that he was never interested in Ryder. Eve calls Ryder a goofball, an idiot, a pervert and someone who is never going to succeed. Eve informs us that if she's going to be dating anyone it's going to be someone successful and someone that has actually done something with their career, someone like, The Miz. Miz walks in to the shot and the two share a quick kiss before walking off.
Kofi Kingston w/R-Truth def. Epico w/Primo A nice match to preview the Tag Team Championship Match coming up on this weeks edition of Friday Night SmackDown! Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger made their way down to ringside during the match, two men who were part of the winning Team last night at WrestleMania. The finish of this match saw Kofi Kingston dodge a crossbody and layout Epico with the Trouble in Paradise when he got back to his feet for the pinfall victory.
Primo rolled into the ring to check on his Tag Team partner as Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger clambered onto the apron, looking to fight Kingston. Truth quickly joined Kingston in the ring however, evening the odds which caused Ziggler and Swagger to step down and walk away.
WWE Champion CM Punk is seen walking backstage alone, when he suddenly smirks and the shot pans out to see Big Show, the new Intercontinental Champion. The two shake hands and continue walking together as they're teaming together next.
-commercial break-
An Extreme Rules pay-per-view vignette airs. The show is advertised for April 29 and every match will have a stipulation.
Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes def. Intercontinental Champion Big Show and WWE Champion CM Punk A great first hour main event between four of the biggest stars in the company, all of which competed in matches last night at WrestleMania 28. Cody Rhodes was very quiet throughout the match, still seeming silent after his embarrassing loss against Big Show at 'Mania which saw him lose his Intercontinental Championship after 230 plus days. The stipulation for this one was that if Chris Jericho's team was to win he would become the number one contender to Punk's WWE Championship. Jericho and Big Show found themselves the legal men for the finish of the match. Jericho tactically untied a turnbuckle cover whilst he was tagged out so he could quickly remove it and throw it away whilst in the ring. The referee searched for the turnbuckle cover on the outside providing the distraction needed for Cody Rhodes to smash Show over the head with the Intercontinental Championship. Jericho then connected with the Lionsault just in time for the referee to get back into the ring and count the pinfall.
CM Punk looked disgusted, standing on the apron as Jericho was once again the number one contender to his WWE Championship following a cheap victory over the Big Show, who was now fuming as Cody Rhodes fled to the back. Punk shook his head at Jericho who simply winked at CM Punk once again.
It is announced that this Friday on SmackDown! the Viper Randy Orton will speak to the WWE Universe about his loss to Kane at WrestleMania an it is rumoured that he has a direct message for Kane after the Big Red Monster got his self 'retribution'. Along with this Primo and Epico will put their Tag Team Championships on the line against Kofi Kingston and R-Truth.
We cut backstage to the parking lot where we can see a Limo pulling up. The driver steps out of the front to open the door for whomever is sitting inside. The Rock steps out of the Limo too an ovation from his hometown crowd as he will be speaking later on tonight!
-commercial break-
WWE Superstars reactions to the match between The Rock and John Cena last night are played through on a vignette, as The Rock is here live tonight and will be speaking later on.
Kelly Kelly def. Divas Champion Beth Phoenix in a non-title match Last night at WrestleMania, Kelly and Maria Menounos from Extra teamed to face Eve and Beth in a Tag Team Match. Phoenix was embarrassed when Menounos picked up the victory at her expense with a roll-up. Tonight wasn't much different as Kelly rolled Beth up with a Hurricanrana to defeat her.
Beth Phoenix was visibly raging at her second loss in two nights, this time at the hands of Kelly Kelly, as she punched the ring mat in rage.
John Laurinaitis is shown in his office backstage when CM Punk bursts into his office. Punk asks Mr. Laurinaitis if he is just handing out title matches now and then asks for a shot of the World Heavyweight Championship as a joke, whilst still visibly irritated. Laurinaitis tells Punk to settle down as he only gave Jericho the match due to the great response their match at WrestleMania got last night. CM tells Johnny that he knows Jericho didn't win the match fairly and if he was really unbais he would change that. Laurinaitis says that everything does run smoothly all the time and that Punk should respect how difficult his job is. John says that he has good news for Punk and it's that he doesn't have to worry about the title defense for a few weeks because he's scheduled it for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on April 29. Laurinaitis then tells Punk that he can take the rest of the night off. CM Punk leaves, keeping his eyes on Johnny as we go to a commercial.
-commercial break-
Brodus Clay is seen backstage, dancing through the halls until he gets shoulder barged by Heath Slater. Slater tells Brodus to watch where he's going and calls him fatty. Brodus tells Slater that he better have his momma on speed dial because she's gonna need to kiss his 'boo boo's'. Slater looks confused an asks what boo boob's. Clay then runs straight through Heath and says 'oops, my bad' and struts off.
'Woo Woo Woo, You Know It', plays through the stadium as the crowd pop for Long Island Iced Z, Zack Ryder. Ryder makes his way down to the ring, with something to say. Ryder tells us that last night he was humiliated as Eve broke his heart for the second time and then delivered a low blow after costing him his match at WrestleMania. Ryder wants to apologize to Teddy Long and takes responsibility for what happened last night but now he wants to make up for his mistakes and that's why tonight he's going to fist pump The Miz's face. The Miz's music hits and he makes his way down to the ring with Eve in tow. Miz laughs at Ryder and asks him if he really thinks he even has the slightest chance against him. Miz says he's taken Ryder's WrestleMania Moment, his girl and now he's going to take his chance at Redemption. Miz kicks Ryder in the gut before the bell sounds to heat from the WWE Universe.
Zack Ryder def. The Miz w/Eve Miz really had the advantage after the cheap shot prior to the bell which was similar to the one Eve handed to Ryder last night at 'Mania. Miz dominated in the early going as the crowd stuck by Zack throughout the match-up. In the end, Miz connected with the Skull Crushing Finale but found one wasn't enough, so set up for a second only for Ryder to counter the dreaded finisher into a small package for the upset victory.
Ryder was ecstatic with his victory and celebrated around the ring for a good minute or so while The Miz tried to figure out what had just happened. Finally, however, Miz struck Ryder in the back of the head with a forearm and proceeded to beat down Zack as Eve cheered on from ringside. Miz then lifted Ryder and connected with a Skull Crushing Finale, adding insult to injury prior to leaving as many different official came to check on Ryder's condition.
Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler hyped the appearance of the Rock, who is scheduled to speak to the WWE Universe next about last night Main Event of WrestleMania 28.
-commercial break-
Wasting no time at all, Justin Roberts introduces The Great One, The Rock. The Rock makes his way out to a huge welcome from his hometown crowd in Miami following his big win at WrestleMania. After playing to the crowd for a couple of minutes Rock gets his microphone and begins to speak. The Rock says that last night at WrestleMania 28, the greatest WrestleMania of all time, Sheamus became the new World Heavyweight Champion, Big Show became the new Intercontinental Champion, CM Punk retained his WWE Championship, The Undertaker went 20-0 defeating the one and only Triple H in a Hell in a Cell Match and then in the main event, one year after it's announcement, after one year of buzz, one year of hype, of insults, The Rock defeated John Cena. Rock says that many questioned whether he could still go, many didn't know if Rock was as good as Cena but after thirty minutes of competition the Rock, the Great One, The Brahma Bull, the most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment pinned Cena in the middle of the ring following a Rock Bottom, one, two, three. Rock says that John Cena can insult him all he wants but he can never claim that he has beaten the Rock. However, The Rock can claim that he has been John Cena because it is etched in history. The Rock then goes onto say that he can talk all he wants about how he beat Cena last night but it was a damn good match. Rock says that there are points in the match at which Cena may have had him, there are times in the match when he was wondering how much it would take to beat Cena but in the end John Cena's arrogance and cockiness got the better of him, when he tried to take down Rock with his own move he was met with the Rock Bottom and plunged straight down into the mat and then he knew it was over. The Rock says that the score will forever be known as Rock 1, Cena 0.
At this point John Cena's music hit and sure enough Cena runs down to the ring, to a mixed reaction from the crowd. John says that he didn't come out here to make excuses for himself because at the end of the the night, he was the one sitting on the rampway and Rock was the one standing victorious. John Cena says that make no bones about it, Rock defeated Cena fairly, it's not being disputed. Cena says that losing last night was an eye opener for him, it didn't tell him more about himself. It told him something about the Rock. Cena says that there is no way the Rock is done yet. He is still too damn good to call it a day and what a waste it would be if he did. John says that there is one thing that Rock said a second ago that irked him. Rock irked him when he said that the score will forever be known as Rock 1, Cena 0. John Cena says that they can claim that last night was 'Once in a Lifetime' all they want but Cena knows that Rock ain't done yet. Cena says that he knows that THEY aren't done yet. John Cena says he isn't challenging Rock to another match tonight, or next year at WrestleMania 29 but he knows that someday they will face again and that he knows that the score will be different. John Cena leaves the ring but Rock stops him before he makes his way to the back. Rock tells Cena that if Cena ain't done with him, then he ain't done with Cena and that when Cena's good enough to face him again Rock will be waiting, if you smell what the rock is cookin'.
Rock's music hits as Cena stares at Rock for a second, smirks and then leaves. The Rock continues to play to the crowd with his arm raised as Monday Night RAW goes off the air.

Okay, so let's see how you've done this. A nice opening segment with CM Punk and Chris Jericho, I see Jericho and his partner winning to get him his rematch. Interesting choice to have Mark Henry win the Gauntlet to become the new United States Champion. I feel it kind of killed Santino's push, but I suppose it fits Laurinaitis' corrupt managing style. A nice choice to have Eve with The Miz, I've done that for my diary to bring Eve back, haha. As expected, Chris Jericho and partner win. Nice choices with the Intercontinental Champion, the Big Show and Cody Rhodes. A good victory for Kelly Kelly after her win last night at WrestleMania. The title really needs to come off Beth, she's so boring nowadays. Wow... we did the exact same match, with the exact same finish, lmao. But good to see Ryder with the win here, it makes sense after he was the one to take the loss at 'Mania. The post-match attack was necessary to get Miz over. A great way to close the show with The Rock and John Cena, and I do hope they don't face again at WrestleMania 29 because it just kills the "once in a lifetime" tagline. Overall, a good show with a nice follow up to WrestleMania.

Amway Center Orlando, Florida April 5th, 2012 WWE Presents: Friday Night SmackDown Booker T, Michael Cole and Josh Mathews welcome us to Friday Night SmackDown, where we are kicking off the show with a World Heavyweight Championship celebration. Sheamus, the new World Champion as of WrestleMania 28 makes his way down to the ring to a huge ovation from the fans. Sheamus gets into the ring and shows off his World Heavyweight Championship to the crowd, which he earned after defeating Daniel Bryan in 18 seconds at the WrestleMania event. Sheamus tells us that back in January when he won the Royal Rumble Match, it was the proudest and happiest moment in his life and he didn’t think he would ever get a feeling that would top it. However, last Sunday at WrestleMania, when he took Bryan’s head off with the Brouge Kick and pinned him to win the World Heavyweight Championship that was the best feeling a man can have. Sheamus says that winning a World Championship in one of the Main Events of the biggest WrestleMania in history is a moment he will savour forever and he knows that from it he will be a fighting champion, willing to take on all comers. Sheamus wants to take a moment to thank the WWE Universe, he says that after he had a change of heart last summer the WWE Universe has been behind him one hundred percent and he can’t thank them enough. Sheamus’ celebration is cut short as John Laurinaitis makes his way out to the stage. Laurinaitis wants to congratulate Sheamus on becoming the first World Heavyweight Champion in the Laurinaitis era and tells Sheamus that he noticed that they are both strong believers in giving the people what they want, so tonight in SmackDown’s main event, Sheamus will go one on one with the new United States Champion Mark Henry! The crowd seem excited about this, as does Sheamus who tells Laurinaitis that that’s great because he can now prove that beating Daniel Bryan in eighteen seconds sunday night was not a fluke. Laurinaitis goes onto say that if Sheamus loses tonight he will have to defend the title against Henry, next week! Sheamus reminds us that he doesn’t mind that because he is a fighting champion and any opportunity to prove that is one worth taking. Sheamus leaves the ring as we fade to a commercial. -commercial break-Kofi Kingston and R-Truth def. Epico and Primo to WIN the WWE Tag Team ChampionshipsThis match was first announced on RAW Monday Night as John Laurinaitis’ attempt to prove that he is not a bias General Manager. Kofi and Truth took full advantage of an opportunity at the Tag Championships and the finish of the match saw Kofi kick out of a Backstabber, too the surprise of the WWE Universe and connect with the SOS on Epico to win the Tag Championships. The WWE Universe went wild for the new Tag Champs as Truth and Kofi celebrated together in the ring. Suddenly, however, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger appeared from the back and took down the Champs in the ring with forearms to the back. Ziggler and Swagger began to stomp on Kingston and Truth, but the new Champions found a way to fight back and Kofi reversed Swagger’s gutwrench into a DDT. Truth and Kofi went to double team Ziggler but Dolph swiftly escaped the ring. The Tag Champions stood tall in the ring as Ziggler checked on Swagger on the outside, whilst motioning that they were coming for the Tag Titles. -commercial break-A promotional package for Extreme Rules airs, the one night where WWE goes Extreme. Every match will have a stipulation. Booker T, Michael Cole and Josh Mathews then breifly talk about the WWE Championship Match set for Extreme Rules between CM Punk and Chris Jericho and that on Monday Night we will find out what the stipulation will be for that match. Natalya def. AJAJ was out here alone tonight, without support from her boyfriend, or possibly ex-boyfriend now as far as we know. AJ was totally off of her game here, maybe feeling guilt from Sunday’s WrestleMania event but in the end she was locked in the Sharpshooter and forced to tap. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth are backstage with Matt Striker. Striker asks how they feel about becoming the WWE Tag Team Champions. Kingston says that himself and Truth feel great, Kingston says that he has held the championships with three different people but winning this one was the best, after coming off of a defeat at WrestleMania, they needed this win to boost their morale. Truth comments on the fact that he has never been Tag Team Champion before, so he is excited to see what the future holds for him in the tag team division. Kingston finishes by saying that if Ziggler and Swagger want to fight, they can fight them like men instead of sneak attacks after matches. -commercial break-Michael Cole, Booker and Josh Mathews are talking at ringside, Cole brings up the fact that Daniel Bryan has not been seen since he lost the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania in 18 seconds. Intercontinental Champion Big Show def. Jinder MahalBig Show was ready to go here against Mahal, unfortunately for the Indian, as the new Intercontinental Champion was defeated on RAW but Chris Jericho after Rhodes nailed him over the head with a title belt. Show took out his frustrations on Mahal here, who’s Camel Clutch had no affect on the World’s Largest Athlete allowing Show to pick up the victory following the WMD. Big Show celebrated his win in the ring, however he was quickly distracted from it as Cody Rhodes’ appeared at ringside, taking the title belt from the time keeper. Rhodes got into the ring but Show was half way there, clutching Rhodes’ by the throat. Cody was in a desperate spot but he was still holding Show’s championship belt which he slung round to hit show in the head with. Rhodes then dropkicked Show’s knee, getting him down to just one before running at him with the belt again. Rhodes proceeded to beat Show with the belt until he had, had enough. Rhodes raised the belt above his head before throwing it down onto Show and leaving. -commercial break-We get back from the commercial to see Rhodes walking backstage, looking around in a paranoid manner. Rhodes quickly opens the door to John Laurinaitis’ office and shuts it behind him. John says to Cody it’s nice to see him, then asks him what he would like. Rhodes says that he wants to cash in his rematch clause for the Intercontinental Championship; he finds it preposterous that Big Show is champion, it was obvious that at WrestleMania his spear was just an excuse for a low blow. Rhodes goes to continue complaining but Laurinaitis tells him to say no more, he’s got it, at Extreme Rules on April 29th, Big Show will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Cody in a Tables Match! The crowd pop for this as we go back to the ring. Hunico w/Camacho def. Tyson Kidd w/Justin GabrielA very fast paced battle here between Hunico and Tyson Kidd, both with their Tag partners at ringside. Kidd and Gabriel were just coming off of a great showing at WrestleMania, despite failing to win the Tag Titles. Gabriel was nursing an injured elbow here at ringside whilst Kidd battled Hunico, however in the end Hunico downed Kidd and nailed the Falling Star for the victory. Camacho got into the ring with Hunico to brag about their victory. The two taunted Gabriel on the outside, who was unable to retaliate with his injured elbow. -commercial break-Drew McIntyre is seen backstage with John Laurinaitis, he says that on RAW he was embarrassed after losing to Santino Marella and he wants to make up for that loss tonight. Johnny apologizes that there isn’t enough room on the card tonight but that on Monday he will have a chance to prove himself when he will face the Viper, Randy Orton! McIntyre puts his hands through his hair, quietly thanks John, and then leaves. Speaking of The Apex Predator, ‘Voices’ hits and the Viper, Randy Orton, makes his way to the ring. Orton had a mic in hand and obviously something to say as he stands in the middle of the ring. Orton says that Sunday night on WrestleMania, he lost, there is no way he can say it wasn’t anyone’s fault other than his own, but now he sees what he is up against. Randy says that apart from a few reckless brawls with John Cena, Kane hasn’t really had much competition since his return so Orton was unable to scout what Kane was really capable of. Randy says that Kane may have got the revenge and self-satisfaction he wanted by defeating him at WrestleMania, but Orton goes onto say that now he is the one wanting Redemption. Randy says that he is prepared now more than ever to face Kane so he is officially making a challenge to Kane, for a match at any show of his choosing and this time the score will be different as Kane will eat an RKO and Randy will walk away the victor. Kane’s music hits and the Big Red Monster walks out onto the stage. Kane says that Orton is making a big mistake. Kane tells Orton that his quest for redemption was complete and he was not planning on causing Randy anymore pain but when someone calls him out, he’s not going to back down. Kane says that he will take pleasure in beating Randy again but he’s going to need time to thing when and where it is best to do it. Kane says that he accepts Randy’s challenge if Orton can accept that not only will his fate be to lose like he did at WrestleMania, but in a more deadly and dreadful fashion. Kane’s music hits once again as he turns his back and leaves and Randy looks satisfied in the ring. World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus is seen backstage, walking towards the ring when he passes AJ, who is alone, and holding her back. The two stop, and Sheamus smirks at AJ before he continues walking. -commercial break-World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus def. United States Champion Mark Henry via DQThis main event match was a battle between two men who’ve been on a roll in recent weeks. Sheamus was just coming off a huge championship win at WrestleMania whilst Henry was a big part of Team Johnny in the Tag Team Match at the same event, which was probably the recent why Laurinitis selected Henry to face the World Champion here tonight. The match was fairly even, with the crowd strongly behind Sheamus throughout, despite their favouring of Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania. The ending sequence here saw Sheamus go up to the top rope and leap off for a crossbody on Henry, in a surprising move from Sheamus, however, Henry caught him and looked for the Worlds Strongest Slam. Sheamus battled back with fists to the side of Henry’s head so he would be put down. This happened and Sheamus managed to garner enough strength to drop Henry with the Irish Curse Backbreaker. Sheamus taunted the Brouge Kick as Henry got back to his feet but was unexpectedly wacked in the back of the skull with a Steel Chair. The referee called for the bell, to end this one in disqualification. Sheamus’ attacker was none other than Daniel Bryan, who lost out to Sheamus at WrestleMania in 18 seconds and wanted revenge. Bryan smacked Sheamus in the back with the chair once again, and again. Mark Henry, who was visibly pissed that he’d, lost the match stormed to the back, as Bryan continued his assault in the ring. Finally Bryan threw away the chair and raised one arm in the air as SmackDown went off the air. wwe2012.

WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 2nd April 2012...Good way to follow up from WrestleMania XXVIII with CM Punk kicking off the show, to focus on the feud he has with Chris Jericho. I'd love to see us end this scenario with a Steel-Cage match. I did not like the fact that we had a promo following the opening promo, just not so good in my eyes. Reasonable set-up to the upcoming WWE United States Championship match from John Laurinaitis though, fair opening contest I guess. Santino Marella beating David Otunga is fine. I'm mixed on Santino having to run the Team Johnny gauntlet though. It reminded me too much of the WWE Hardcore Championship days. Drew McIntyre also failing was fine, should have ended there. I did not like Mark Henry gaining the title, he doesn't need it whatsoever. It does make sense in that he's flattening the weakened Santino however, but he didn't need this, an attack would have been just as fine. Kofi Kingston beating Epico didn't really interest me, it seems likely that Kingston and R-Truth will be beating Primo and Epico for the WWE Tag Team Championships shortly anyway, but I like the involvement of Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. Chris Jericho teaming with Cody Rhodes? Magnificent pairing. Good win as expected against Big Show and CM Punk, forwards both feuds well. Still think it should have main evented/had next-to-main event promo position though. Kelly Kelly beating Beth Phoenix...NO. Kelly is God awful. I'd rather see Eve beat the crap out of her week in and week out. Zack Ryder's promo wasn't too bad I suppose, good win against the Miz, did like Miz getting payback though. And lastly, good promo from the Rock and John Cena, but it didn't accomplish too much, and it lacked the feeling behind it that RAW did last week when there was the Brock Lesnar buzz in the air. Hopefully he still makes a comeback though. Not a bad show, some dodgy booking though.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 4th April 2012...Percy Watson beating Tyler Reks...meh. I really despise Watson, he's not that great in my eyes, I don't get the buzz for him. Brie Bella beating Kaitlyn didn't do all that much for me. Why is some of the results in Italics? The Usos beating Titus O'Neill and Darren Young was the right way to go about it. Michael McGillicutty beating Derrick Bateman was a shame. Please give Bateman some SmackDown coverage in future. Nothing too special, not enough detail to not eanything though.
WWE Superstars: Thursday 5th April 2012...Mason Ryan and Alex Riley beating Heath Slater and JTG didn't interest me whatsoever. Yoshi Tatsu beating Trent Barreta...why? Both men are face. Also, you should know that Barreta is out injured. Jack Swagger beating R-Truth was the right main event, could have been a good match. Nothing special on this episode of Superstars, pretty poor show honestly.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 6th April 2012...SmackDown was on the 6th, not the 5th. You made the right decision for Sheamus to open the show to celebrate his win as the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XXVIII. Mark Henry as his opponent? Sounds pretty lacklustre, really. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth beating Primo and Epico, I called it far too easily. At last they're WWE Tag Team Champions though, I've seen this coming since Elimination Chamber. Just to point it out, Natalya turned face again the other week, but nonetheless, fair win against AJ, think there should have been a segment for Daniel Bryan and AJ though, rather than cutting their alliance out like this. Big Show beating Jinder Mahal, nah. Didn't like it at all, but it forwarded the feud with Cody Rhodes. I hope Cody doesn't regain the WWE Intercontinental Championship though, it's time for him to move up. Hunico beating Tyson Kidd was nice, a good idea for this to be put on SmackDown from WWE Superstars in reality. Randy Orton with a promo this late in the show? Weird positioning, I'd have had this open-hour main event. Forwarded the feud with Kane I guess though, as much disinterest as I have for hearing these two talk. And lastly, liked Daniel Bryan getting involved in the main event as it prepares us a rematch for Extreme Rules. Overall, a weak show compared to reality. I'd have rather had Alberto Del Rio, Ryback, Lord Tensai, Abraham Washington and Brock Lesnar appear than have had the two title changes this week on WWE television. Also the debut of Damian Sandrow, the guy is amazing. Additionally, there is practically no new feuds prepared for Extreme Rules despite there being a lot of time to build him, other than R-Truth and Kofi Kingston vs Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler. I'm just not digging things yet.
WWE Weekend News...I feel like Lord Tensai should have debuted this week, as a big post-WrestleMania return/debut, if not anyone else. Also looking for Damian Sandrow and Dean Ambrose to be moving up to the main card more than Seth Rollins and Xavier Woods. Don't rush Rey Mysterio back onto television, I'll say that. Lastly, I don't get the point of you having the Draft take place considering that RAW Supershow holds both brands anyway, there's next to no point in retaining the brand split, but nevermind.
