Rate Wrestlemania 28

i loved it. i gave it a 9. only thing i was dissapointed in was the whc match only going 18 secs. if that would have been a 15 min match atleast i woulda gave it a 10. i personally enjoyed the brodus clay segment. i coulda did without the mgk and flo-rida performances but its wrestlemania so i expect them. i even liked the divas match. good job wwe. one of the best ppvs in a while

Three great memorable 20+ minute matches on one card

If I could vote 7.5 out of 10, I would go with that, but I'll settle for 7.

Pros:
- Kane's clean win over Orton, who pretty much dominated the feud up until WrestleMania.
- The Big Show's IC title win following his past WM disappointments, as well as a decent showing from Rhodes (but, really, Big Show should not lose this match).
- Undertaker matches at WrestleMania deliver, or at least they have since he's gotten older and fought with the likes of HBK and HHH. It wasn't my favorite, nor was it his best, but it was a quality half-hour 'Mania match once again.
- Team Johnny winning was nice (because there is more storyline depth to it), but also the match didn't last too long despite its cluttered moments.
-CM Punk and Chris Jericho give a solid effort in this year's WWE title match, but I still am expecting more from these two (or, rather, Punk) since the not-so-long-ago glory days of "The Summer of Punk."
- The Rock vs. John Cena, slow and steady, but it got the job done. It wasn't perfect and it didn't blow me away, but it was a good wrestling match. Did it live up to the hype? Of course not. Was it the best match of the night? Easily no. But there is intrigue in what comes next, and that is a positive in my book.

Cons:
- Sheamus/Bryan lasting 18 seconds, when the same finish could have been implemented following a 15-to-20 minute showcase for both (even at the expense of opening the show).
- The Divas Champion gets pinned by Maria Menounos, regardless of her enthusiasm for competing at WrestleMania.
- Brodus Clay's segment is quite honestly one of the worst WrestleMania moments ever. Almost borderline racist.
- MGK and Flo Rida's performances did nothing to enhance either John Cena's or The Rock's entrances.
- The lack of any surprises (outside of The Rock's win, and I wasn't expecting Brock or Batista to return) and the overall lackluster feel to WrestleMania, which has some to do with the timing of and pace between matches in the first half of the show.

There were many disappointments. I'd say 8.5, but it should have been a 10! Still amazing though...

- Nothing to say about Sheamus and D-Bry. It was just dumb.
- Kane/Orton was good, glad that Kane actually won.
- Show/Rhodes was alright, it'll be interesting to see where Rhodes goes from here.
- Didn't care for the Divas tag match.
- Taker/HHH was amazing. Started out slow, but once the pace picked up it was just awesome. Match of the night.
- Team Johnny/Team Long was pretty good, glad that Team Johnny won and Drew didn't get pinned. Guess this means no more impromptu tag team matches?
- Punk/Jericho was awesome, all of the counters towards the end were great. I loved the Frankensteiner counter that Jericho did.
- Rock/Cena was okay, it wasn't great. Glad that Rock won, nothing in the match stood out to me.

Overall, I'd give it 8/10. Could have definitely been much higher if they actually gave Sheamus and D-Bry an actual match.

I'd say 9 or 9.5. I had an excellent time watching. The parts that weren't extremely satisfying matches were comedic gold. My friend and I were losing it during the Simmons/Foley/Santino bit, the Funkasaurus was so ing stupid I was wondering if I switched over to Tim and Eric, etc.

Taker vs. Triple H was ing incredible. I really thought Taker might lose.

Punk/Jericho was a great technical match, which I expected.

Rock/Cena was a lot of fun, and the finish was brilliant in my opinion.

First WreslteMania I've ordered since 23. They earned my buy with this year's show.

I went with a 7 although ask me later on and it could be a 6..

Matches I thought were the best:

Jericho/Punk - I think it could have been better. Still my favorite match of the night.

Rock/Cena - For me it was so shocking that Rock won. I was not expecting that at all!

HHH/Taker - I knew Taker would win I just kept thinking Lesnar would come out or something so when nothing happened I was a bit let down. I know it is my own fault for getting hyped up though..

Match that was the worst imo:

Bryan/Sheamus - SOOO disappointed with this.. I don't mind Sheamus winning however at least give them 10 minutes!

Matches that were better than I thought they would be:

Kane/Orton - I think they did a pretty good job and although I still am not a big fan of the match the ending was a nice surprise. I mean how many people were really thinking Orton would lose?!

Kelly/Maria v Beth/Eve - It was not hard to beat my expectations because they were so low. I was very surprised it went as long as it did. I would have guessed 3 minutes yet it was like 6 or so [which is pretty long for the divas *sad but true*].

Matches that for me were just 'there':

Team Teddy v Team Lauranitis - It could have been a lot better imo. It never really got great for me. The ending portion was good though I just can't rate it very high..

Cody Rhodes v Big Show - I wish Rhodes would have won and I was predicting wwe would not make imo the mistake of having him lose but they did.. Had Bryan/Sheamus not already did the squash title change I would have expected this match to go that route so I guess the bright side is Cody got to do something. Still the match was nothing special and I find Show very boring so I don't look forward to his IC title reign..

Segments that were horrible:

Brodus Clay's entire thing.. - It was just bad and I felt bad that Bryan/Sheamus could have easily used this time and other minutes that were poorly distributed to have a real match.

The Damn! segment with Santino/Foley/that fisherman.. - It was so sad to watch. That Damn! was earned..

Taker-HHH was brilliant! Rock-Cena was what I was expecting and it delivered. I was kinda disappointed about Punk and Jericho but whatever. I loved the stage and everything, it just looked cool

Nothing really happened to make me really get excited and from the first match the whole thing was just thrown off for me and it took me a while to get into it.

I paid to see wrestling. Not flo rida or whoever else that was or some fisherman or some ladies dancing pointlessly. Build up promos weren't great either ad so much of that time used could have been used in so many other good places.

Massive letdown for me. It wasn't wrestlemania standard.
