8/10 from me.
I too was disappointed with the World Title match, because the crowd seemed so pumped at the start, expecting a cracking opener, but then it was over just like that. It was fitting, and I'm not that bothered by it, but I'd have much rather seen a great match than the 18 seconds we got.
Kane vs. Orton was, as I expected, a good match despite not being a big attraction. The ending was cool too and quite a surprise to me.
Rhodes vs. Big Show was basically what I expected as well, then the Divas match was actually bearable; the fact that I watched it and didn't use it as a pee-break is a compliment in itself. Better than expected.
The first half of the show to this point felt almost like the pre-show still... things only went in to another gear when the HIAC started. What a match that was, just incredible from start to finish IMO. Really thought the streak was going to end.
Fell asleep for a few minutes during the GM vs. GM match tbh. Meh. Jericho vs. CM Punk was very good though they probably could have gotten a better match out of each other.
The Main Event was brilliant IMO although the performances from MGK and Flo Rida ruined the moments leading up to the opening bell. The ending was questionable, although I'm fine with it as long as we get a rematch. If it turns out Rock came, beat Cena, and left to do more filming then I'll be pissed off. That's a kick in the balls to the whole current crop of talent IMO.

Personally I think if they switched the booking for the Sheamus/DBry and Cody/Big Show matches the undercard wouldn't have sucked as much as it did.
Cody spent weeks leading up to WM being the perfect pest heel - criticizing Big Show for always choking at WM. Wouldn't it have been poetic justice if Big Show completely embarrassed Cody by hitting the WMD in 18 seconds and winning the I-C belt? Their feud would have continued tonight on RAW with Cody being made the fool.
Sheamus & D Bry would have had a good 15 minute match to make the IWC happy and could have still been booked for Sheamus to go over, even though I think D Bry has been a tremendous heel champ.
On another note, it was the absolute first WM I've ever ordered via PPV and it felt slightly underwhelming - more so for the production value. If it's the biggest show of the year, they should have done more like Triple H's entrance prop. There should have been some live onstage promos, not taped backstage shenanigans.
And did anyone catch the first opening seconds of Rock/Cena where Rock was clearly trying to re-create that famous Rock/Hogan stare down and Cena was looking quickly to the left and right and back to Rocky? It gave me a chuckle, I could just imagine what Rocky was saying under his breath - "Keep looking at the crowd damnit!"

6.5 but I'm seriously underwhelmed . Poor crowd. I agree, you only got the wows and stuff - it was many the commentators over reacting. It was kinda like last years SummerSlam - the crowd wasn't so alive until the main event.

I'd give it a 8 out of 10. The best matches of the night were The Rock vs. John Cena, Undertaker vs. Triple H, Jericho vs. Punk and surprisingly Kane vs. Randy Orton. I was a bit dissapointed by the Sheamus/Bryan match only go 18 seconds for my own selfish reasons. Cody vs. Big Show was a nice little match that finally gave Show his moment. The Diva's match was alright, although I didn't care for it that match. Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny was fun but cluttered. I think the end with Eve kicking Ryder in the balls will make Eve one of the hottest heels in the company (I mean that in two ways).

Very good show overall, Punk v Jericho, HHH v Taker and Rock v Cena were epic. I agree with basically all that has been said so far, they should have swapped the booking for Sheamus/Bryan and Rhodes/Show to of made it even stronger undercard.
I also personally believe it could and maybe should have been longer... all the hype leading up to it was amazing, I was genuinely very excited to watch this, and I just feel too much got squashed in. Had they run it through to 5 hours there could have been more segments, longer for Sheamus v Bryan etc. And no end of WM video package with highlights of the show like they normally do upset me!

Older fans did not like it and younger fans did because older fans know how good pro wrestling can be if they live through the 80's and the younger fans have less to compare it too.

The three main event matches really made the show for me and I did enjoy Johnny vs. Teddy and Orton vs. Kane too.

I would give it a 7. It was a great show. Not perfect. Better than a lot of recent WMs.

I gave it a 6. It just didn't seem like a Mania at points (i.e. no opening pyro, lack of video packages, and individual entrances) 1. Bryan/Sheamus: What has not already been said, they could have cut out the 15 plus minutes given to Brodus/MGK/FloRida and let them tell a good story in the ring. 1/10 2. Kane/Orton: Honestly did not wanna see this match but I thought it was a solid match, with a great ending, very suprised by this one. 7/10 3. Rhodes/Big Show: Meh, it was not a bad match, but Show and Rhodes botching the spear, and not getting enough time to really pace it hurt the match. 6/10 4. Divas Match: Terrible, just plain terrible. Heel team should have won, but Kelly's somerset dive was cool. 2/10 5. HHH/Taker: Unbelievable. Told an a perfect story inside of the ring. Dissappointed the cell didn't really play a factor, but the SCM-Pedigree combo to Taker really almost made me crap my pants. Ending was amazing, and those three walking out together, was a truly profound Mania moment. 10/10 6. Long/Laurinitis: Match could have benefitted by having individual entrances. Not a bad match by any means, started slow but really picked up with the spots towards the end....And for god's sake, why were they made to wear those rediculous shirts? 6/10 7. Punk/Jericho: About what I expected, a great match, with a number of great spots and false finishes. The reverse frankensteiner into the WOJ off the top rope was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. 9/10 8. Rock/Cena: Should not have had the ridiculous music, WWE tries to hard to move mainstream and it just doesn't work, any ways.....It was a good match, the beginning was slow and wasn't really clicking, but I'm glad they figured it out and turned up the heat in those last minutes. I think WWE burying Cena to Dwayne made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Rock is supposed to be the old star coming in, on a bare bones wrestling schedule, who puts over the newer guy. I dont understand how you can give Rock the win, yet have him leave the company once again, while Cena is still there?? Match gets an 8/10 Overall it gets a 6, it was basically a 3 match show.

I really enjoyed WrestleMania last night. Not great, but it is average WrestleMania, in my opinion.
If Undertaker Vs Triple H as semi-main event and longer than that. Then it'd be perfect. But still I enjoyed the PPV. So I give it as 9.

The end made no sense.....Cena almost seemed to be shoot mocking the finish the way he brashly slung his arm hand and laughed as he lazily hit off the ropes and jogged from side to side....They couldn't come up with a better, more legit finish? We've never seen John Cena's character ever do something that cocky, or mocking, or try to show off like that. I'm surprised more people didn't pick up on this. I think it's a case of him thinking he's too big for his boots. Even during the Match he was making it clear when he was calling the Match, as if he wanted people to see he was calling it. He really made no effort to sell, it looked like he was just going along with the Match not putting any real effort in as he wasn't happy with the Rock going over.

7/10. Main event was insane and Punk v Jericho was awesome; however the HIAC match was pretty boring (stuck by the same formula as last years match; hit eachother with weapons, lay down for ING AGES, get up, hit finishers then repeat the process) bar some near falls, the lack of video packages was crapand all the undercared (bar Kane v Randy Orton) was pretty shoddy.

9. Just because of The Undertaker, Triple H, Jericho, Punk, Rock, and hard to say but yes because of Cena.
Triple H vs Undertaker. Great Match. End of an Era, maybe we will never see perfect moves and a perfect show like that again.
CM Punk vs Jericho. Very good match, I enjoyed it.
Cena vs Rock. Good match but nothing special.
Big Show vs Rhodes. Good match too.
Orton vs Kane. We saw better matches of Orton and/or Kane on RAW/Smackdown.
12 Man Tag Team. 12 Man? Really?
Sheamus vs Bryan. 18 seconds? Worst decision for a World Heavyweight Championship change/match on WrestleMania.
It was a great match-card for the evening. I thought this WrestleMania will be one of the greatest WrestleManias ever. But it wasn't.
If something is spelled wrong I'm sorry.
