Remember in 2005 WWE.com posted that they had just had a meeting with Lesnar? I was excited as then so just imagine how excited I was some 7 years later.

I find it funny because Cena wouldn't be where he is today if Brock didn't leave. I'm interested in this feud.

It was so awesome. I just wish JR of 1998 was announcing and would've marked out like crazy, that would've made it even better. I wish Tazz of 2003 had been announcing. With Lesnar and A-Train returning it feels like Smackdown 03 again

You could have talked so much crapin the last eight years about Lesnar and it was still damn near impossible not to get excited the moment you heard his entrance music hit tonight.
I marked and, though I never thought it would happen, I was actually nostalgic for a couple minutes thinking back to Brock's reign of terror a decade ago.
Lesnar has changed since those days and he's been through a lot, but his return will be great for the further evolution of Cena's character, first and foremost. If he couldn't beat eight years of The Rock's ring rust, what makes him think he can do it to Lesnar's?
Really intriguing stuff here, especially considering Cena took the ball after Lesnar left when it should/would have been Lesnar's all this time.

is he back for good or is this a one off? it's only for a year with a limited schedule. i really hope he decides to stay a little longer when it's over because it's not like he has a movie career to get back to, lol.

I'm so ing stoked to see Brock back. He's definitely in my top 3 guys of all time. I've been waiting for this return since 2004. Him leaving was the catalyst for me to stop wrestling until late 2006. I'm sure though just like the Rock the IWC will soon turn on him is he isn't there every week. We shall see.

Why are people saying 'F**k the Rock, we have Lesnar now!!!??' Are we not allowed to enjoy both?
Anyway, that was one of the most epic things in recent memory. We all had a feeling the day would come, but hearing that music just brought everything back. It was unreal. I marked so freaking hard.

Thinking we're gonna get John Cena vs Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, then The Rock vs Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania.
Either this or John Cena vs Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, The Rock vs Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, then Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 29 while The Rock vs John Cena for the WWE Championship happens.

One of the best returns ever. The crowd was so hot the whole night which helped a lot. Here comes the pain!

Am I the only person down on Lesnar's shape he's in? I mean, his arms looked scrawny in comparison to his prime, and to Cena. He looked kinda flabby in the midsection, and just overall not as athletic as I was expecting.
I don't really care if he's in UFC shape rather than WWE shape as far as physique is concerned, but he just didn't look put together. Also, mic work isn't his forte, so I don't know how they'll build a feud with Cena unless they bring him back a mouthpiece like Heyman, or keep it to physical confrontations.
It was so funny last night when Cena tried to 'no react' the 'WE WANT LESNAR' chants...he knew what was coming, and the crowd kinda spoiled the surprise for the non-smark fans. Brock was never my favorite, so I won't pretend he is now, but I am intrigued as to where the feud will go. WWE has been really aggressive signing and re-signing talent this past year, hopefully they keep it up, and allow their progressing and debuting development talent (Black, Hero, Claudio) to rise and not just let the 'part time' feature stars always shine brightest.

Same here, i thought he looked really small to how he was back in UFC, in UFC he looked every bit as big as he was in WWE back in the day
