Am I the only person down on Lesnar's shape he's in? I mean, his arms looked scrawny in comparison to his prime, and to Cena. He looked kinda flabby in the midsection, and just overall not as athletic as I was expecting. I don't really care if he's in UFC shape rather than WWE shape as far as physique is concerned, but he just didn't look put together. Also, mic work isn't his forte, so I don't know how they'll build a feud with Cena unless they bring him back a mouthpiece like Heyman, or keep it to physical confrontations. It was so funny last night when Cena tried to 'no react' the 'WE WANT LESNAR' chants...he knew what was coming, and the crowd kinda spoiled the surprise for the non-smark fans. Brock was never my favorite, so I won't pretend he is now, but I am intrigued as to where the feud will go. WWE has been really aggressive signing and re-signing talent this past year, hopefully they keep it up, and allow their progressing and debuting development talent (Black, Hero, Claudio) to rise and not just let the 'part time' feature stars always shine brightest. Same here, i thought he looked really small to how he was back in UFC, in UFC he looked every bit as big as he was in WWE back in the day Not only that, but he looked flabby around the gut, and when he flexed, it just didn't look intimidating like it did back in the day.

I have a feeling alot of his muscle/weight loss is from his illness, and I doubt he figured he'd be going back to WWE so soon so he probably didn't hit the gym as hard.
I think he'll gain some of it back over the next few months.

I'll be honest, I was scared that he wouldn't appear on Raw after Tensai and Del Rio came out. But when Cena started to listen to the "We Want Lesnar" chants I thought that he would come out instead of The Rock. When his music hit my jaw dropped, but it wasn't until he actually came out that I got out of my chair and yelled in joy.

He's a workout warrior, so I don't doubt his ability to get back to form. I just don't know if this is gonna work out exactly like everyone's already hyping it up.

This is Brock Lesnar with nothing but free time and a sh*t load of talent. Everything this feud is hyped to be, will live up to every expectation.

My buddy texted me saying Brock had shown up on Raw. It's a good thing he told me otherwise I would have missed out on it. I caught the replay of Raw because I was at work, but it was incredible the pop he got and when he came out, it was unreal. It's been a long damn 8 years since we last heard his theme in WWE and I'll be honest here, it was SO great hearing it again and see him walk out. Just a surreal moment.
The only thing that soured me was that turd Michael Cole on commentary. He's F'N brutal. "The anonimale has returned" and "The beast, the freak" and on and on. His stupid comments really bugged me. I can't stand that little queef. I think he should've been fired immediately after he gave away the 'Mania XV main event result.
Oh well, I just hope WWE keeps Lesnar strong and take him seriously. It's great to see him back.

Still can't believe that he's actually back. I hope he stays for a good long while as well. So many awesome matches for him to have and it's gonna be hard to do all that in a year.

Love the way everyone is now a 'Lesnar fan from day one'. Always liked the guy, but was never my absolute favourite.
That being said, it was insane. His return was spoilt for me by a few people posting about it on Facebook before I watched Raw, but it was amazing. Might actually have to start watching WWE again, now.

All the WWE fans who are glad to see Lesnar back should be thanking Alistar Overeem because if Overeem didn't beat him, Lesnar would still be in UFC and waiting for his UFC Heavyweight title shot against Junior Dos Santos.

I was a HUGE Brock fan when debuted...followed him as a face and a heel. Then reports came of him starting to become the "Voice of the Lockeroom". I remember reading reports of him threatening anyone that was leaking info to the dirtsheets. This was right around the time that Austin was supposed to do the job for him.
Everyone put Brock over....Taker even lost a HIAC match to Brock if I am not mistaken. The guy had everything, became champ and was elevated faster than anyone had seen.
Then..he quit. He had his reasons for doing so, I'm sure he missed his family, his personal life etc. but he became an overnight success and millionaire due to the Fan following he had, all of which was given to him by the WWE. And he walked out on the WWE and his fans.
The UFC would never have taken him and fastracked him to the Title without his WWE history. Yet, Brock consistently out down wrestling after it made him a millionaire and a star. It was his vehicle to success.
Now....Brock is back. Me? I say..
LET'S GO CENA....LESNAR SUCKS.
John Cena stepped up and became the face of the company. Personally, I hated Cena and still dislike the manner in which he was shoved down out throats. However, he played the part and has represented the WWE like a professional. I met John Cena and thought he was kind of a dick, but I respect him. I have even come to like him as a character, as well.
Cena deserves to beat Brock and I hope he does, because he is a long term, loyal player.
If Brock goes through Punk, Cena and everyone else to build up a feud to face The Rock, I think it will prove to be a huge mistake for WWE in the long run.
Sorry for my soapbox. I'm glad 99.9% of everyone here is happy about him being back. I just can't respect the way the guy took his ball and went home quitting as he did and I'm not happy about the current blood taking a backseat to him.
I gave up being a fan of Brock, when Brock gave up on me as a fan.

Dude was sick and had a ton of abdominal issues.
He's not going to look the same way he did in 2002 folks.

Was it reported whether he's back full time with the wwe? Or will it be kind of like what they did with the rock?

^ @ juliankaye I am so sick and tired of hearing the fans whine and moan about certain wrestlers leaving the WWE to pursue other avenues in their life. Where the hell is it written that they MUST stay with WWE forever?! Come on. First you guys were pissed about The Rock taking off to Hollywood to do movies and you said he turned his back on all his fans and blah blah blah and now we've got fans starting to say the EXACT same crap about Lesnar already. Fans today are a joke. They'll never be happy with ANYTHING. Brock was so stressed and worn out during his WWE run, he wanted to take a break and who can blame him?? If he kept going at that rate, I'd say there's a good chance he might not even be alive today. Let's look back and see the guys that were around during Lesnar's run and are dead now, shall we?? There's Crash Holly, Test, Jamal who later became Umaga, Eddie Guerrero who beat Lesnar for the WWE title, Chris Benoit, Chris Kanyon, and Garrison "Lance" Cade. That's just a sad list right there and worse yet, I don't think any of them made it passed 40 years old. Brock wanted a break from putting his body through hell and he was stressed and tired of the WWE schedule and wanted to try something new. God forbid, these guys try something else OTHER than wrestling in their lives. He tried his hand at football and that didn't work out, then it was MMA and he made it to the UFC and fought some VERY tough and experienced fighters and eventually won the UFC Heavyweight title. That's the highest honor he could've got and he did it. And now some fans get all pissy because he left the world of wrestling behind for a few years to try something new?? Give it a rest and move the on for christ sakes.
