Hey guys, I just picked up an E13 Dolph Ziggler, love the figure just wish he came with longer hair. I noticed that they didn't do his boots correct, he has black straps that they didn't paint on, so I bought some black paint from Walmart and give it a shot. It's not 100% perfect but I like it. I have to scrape some off in certain places. Like over a month ago I got some red paint for my Madison Rayne. I didn't like her paint job, and she had a scratch on her chest. JDS did a great job on his Madison Rayne wfigs.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Customs&action=display&thread=239457I think I'll just buy a dress/shirt from Ralph's.

Wow for a first that paint job was very good and the coat was smooth and didn't look sloppy at all. Great job with your Dolph and Madison Rayne

thanks guys i don't mess with customs much, but i have a feeling my collecting hobby might evolve into custom-ing/fix ups I would recommend trying it out because you seem to have a good basic concept on how to create smooth paint jobs and joint replacements. Just keep it simple and try to not to begin sculpting until you work with 100s of customs and you are able to outline complex attire patterns etc. You might want to take advice from some experienced customizers to make sure everything comes out smoothly.

I didn't mean go all hardcore like some of the guys here on the board. It's crazy the things that these guys know how to do to make custom figs. I looked over some of the customs tutorial page, there is some real talent here.
I know it would take me a while to develop those skills. I just meant that now I think I'll start to paint on some figs.
