WWE RAW: Monday 2nd April 2012...Man, this layout direly needs work. Far too messy, the writing is too small, and everything's all over the place. Too much empty space. John Cena opening the show was fine, but I didn't like Brock Lesnar appearing right here whatsoever. And now what purpose do the viewers have to tune in? I'd have stuck with having this at the tail end of the show. Lord Tensai opening the show? A squash match should never open RAW in this day and age, really. JTG had to be the victim of choice of course. Nice way to introduce Tensai I suppose. Up next, I'd have had this match open the show in the ring really. But still, what a mess of a fatal four-way match. Drew McIntyre with the win was one thing, but having McIntyre win the WWE United States Championship over the Miz was a complete "why?" move. I understand Miz is deteriorating down the card, but he should have won, or Santino Marella should have retained. This segment didn't do a lot for me. I do like Damian Sandrow debuting on RAW however. Up next, a good opening hour main event with Sheamus beating Dolph Ziggler, but I did like Daniel Bryan running in after the bell in alliance with Alberto Del Rio. I'd like that alliance explained however. Not a fan of how this tag team tables match was set up for Beth Phoenix and Eve & Kelly Kelly and Lita. Far too rushed in my mind. Man, CM Punk and Jack Swagger? Sounds like such a weak main event to RAW, but fair win for Punk I suppose. Chris Jericho continuing to douse Punk in Jack Daniels was a great idea though. It was a beautiful angle. Up next, hated that main event segment. Triple H retiring, but reviving the Kliq? What an absolute mess of a main event segment, far too sudden and expected. Overall, so much to work on; layout, booking, ordering, everything. The only thing I did like was how simple the writing was. Everything else? Improvements to be made.
WWE SmackDown: Friday 6th April 2012...Daniel Bryan kicking off the show was fine, did like his announcement of his alliance with Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio, but didn't like the randomly sudden neglect of AJ from Bryan's side. I'd have rather had the breakup angle televised, to keep AJ over. Damian Sandrow on SmackDown too? Hmm, interesting. Big Show beating Heath Slater so quickly was pointless, not a lot else to comment on. I'm hoping Cody Rhodes doesn't regain the WWE Intercontinental Championship, as he deserves to be shooting so much higher at this point in his career. Zack Ryder and the Great Khali is a fun family-friendly combination I guess. Fair opening hour main event, but it really didn't do much for me, Mark Henry and Jack Swagger is a random team. Mark flattening Ryder was cool, I like John Laurinaitis' power, firing Khali was an interesting one, finally removes him too I guess. Sheamus beating Kane sounded good, could have very well main evented the show in my eyes, I don't think this match has been done before. Randy Orton continuing his feud with Kane is fair play. Natalya beating Brie Bella was what it was. The womens division really does have no direction lately. Layla returning was a right call to make though. And lastly, an oddball main event; three heels make this awkward. Needed a babyface in it, even if it was just Randy Orton. Ricardo Rodriguez taking people out? Nah. A fatal four-way at Extreme Rules for the World Heavyweight Championship sounds like enough, it doesn't need the Steel-Cage stipulation. Overall, better than RAW, but not by far. You have a handful of improvements to make, as noted in the RAW review. I also believe you should balance the entire roster out, by doing NXT and Superstars as well.
