This is my first time posting a sim/diary here but I've got some experience from other forums. There's not much of a backstory, just my take on the current product. I'm going to use EWR to keep track of everything and it's starting with May 2012 so that's where I'll begin. -Quick Backstory-John Laurinaitis has been abusing his power as the General Manager of both shows, even appointing David Otunga as his personal assistant to help run Smackdown. After a few weeks of this, the COO, Triple H came out and laid down the law. He informed Mr. Laurinaitis that his abuse of power has prompted Triple H to make a business decision. He said he is allowing Laurinaitis to keep his position as General Manager BUT only for the Raw brand. There will be a new General Manager for Smackdown announced on the May 7th edition of Monday Night Raw as well as a Raw and Smackdown Draft! Superstars will go back to competing only on their show and any superstar that shows up on the other show, unless authorized, will be fined and suspended. -Extreme Rules Quick Results-CM Punk def. Thanks. I'll post Smackdown here pretty soon and then the Draft episode of Raw maybe tonight too so I can get things going. I don't really have any storylines that can start until after that episode of Raw.

The show kicked off with the usual pyro and then Matt Striker and Scott Stanford welcomed everyone to the show before going to the ring for the first match.
Drew McIntyre def. Justin Gabriel A good singles match up. The crowd was really into it and behind Gabriel and really got on McIntyre when he would try a cheap tactic. Gabriel looked to have the match in his hands until McIntyre countered the 450 Splash by getting his knees up as Gabriel crashed into them. Drew quickly followed up with the Future Shock.
Sheamus was being interviewed backstage by Josh Matthews when he was approached by Assistant General Manager, David Otunga. Otunga put over how good Sheamus is and that he is the World Champion before informing him that Smackdown is all about ratings so tonight, Sheamus will go one on one with the Intercontinental Champion, The Big Show in a Champion vs Champion match.
The Usos w/ Tamina def. Heath Slater & Hunico A decent match up. The crowd wasn't too into it but the match didn't last long. Slater ended up walking out on Hunico which allowed Jimmy Uso to nail a Superfly Splash.
Big Show was shown getting ready for his match with Sheamus in the main event
Cody Rhodes def. Tyson Kidd A great match that saw the crowd get very behind Kidd. Rhodes was using all of his dirty tricks but nothing was working on Kidd. Kidd at one point had Rhodes in the Sharpshooter but he was able to get to the ropes. Kidd looked to be on his way to certain victory until he was floored with a right hand to the jaw and then Rhodes was shown putting something in his trunks. Rhodes picked up the win and quickly exited the ring.
Sheamus is shown in his locker room warming up by doing some pushups
Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan went to a no contest A great match that the entire crowd was into. Both guys were giving it there all, however we wouldn't get a proper ending to this one. The two ended up brawling on the outside of the ring, ignoring the referee's count and they were both counted out. Bryan cowardly kicked Orton low and then escaped threw the crowd as Orton murmured that it wasn't over.
Daniel Bryan was caught backstage in a hurry by Josh Matthews. Bryan quickly said that Orton doesn't know who he's messing with before hurrying off.
Big Show def. Sheamus A very good back and forth match. Both guys looked great and the crowd was split down the middle of who they were for. Sheamus went for his signature kick but it was dodged by Show who quickly nailed a Show Stopper on the World Champion to pick up the win.
Big Show waited around in the ring and helped Sheamus up. The two champions shook hands in a show of sportsmanship as Smackdown came to a close.

Raw opens with COO, Triple H making his way to the ring. In the ring, he says he wants to get Raw started off with a bang. He goes on to ask John Laurinaitis to come to the ring, he talks for a few minutes about how he had to select the perfect person for the job and someone familiar with the WWE product. He said after much thought, he decided who that person is....he says when you have a decision this big, you have to turn to family. Triple H then turns, looks at John Laurinaitis, and says "John...Here comes the money."
Shane McMahon then walks out to his signature theme song and the crowd explodes. Shane dances his way down to the ring and then enters the ring. He hugs Triple H and then extends his hand to Laurinaitis, who shakes.
Triple H decides to get things started and singles for the first match to start with the winner getting one pick for his show.
Match 1 Drew McIntyre def. Alex Riley A decent back and forth contest that the crowd was mildly into. McIntyre wouldn't take long and eventually put Riley away with the Future Shock.
McIntyre gets Smackdown the first draft pick of the night. The screen begins to play the usual draft montage and it stops on...Chris Jericho!
Jericho is shown in the locker room with the rest of the superstars. He doesn't look too pleased with being sent to Smackdown.
After a brief commercial break, we are back with tag team action worth one pick for the winning shows team.
Match 2 The Usos def. Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler A good tag team match with the crowd somewhat into it. Ziggler and Swagger tried using cheap tactics however the would backfire and cost them the match as Jey Uso was able to catch Ziggler with a surprise roll up.
With the win, The Usos pick up Smackdown's second pick of the night. After the usual Draft montage, it is revealed that Dolph Ziggler is going to Smackdown!
Ziggler looks upset and then kicks Swagger low and shoves Vickie Guerrero down before leaving the ring.
After a quick commercial, Dolph Ziggler is interviewed. He says at first he was mad about going to Smackdown but the more he thinks about it, he likes it. He said he's done being stuck with losers like Jack Swagger and managers who don't get him anywhere like Vickie Guerrero. He says that on Smackdown, he will finally become Perfection.
Match 3 Brodus Clay def. Heath Slater for 2 Draft Picks A fun match with Brodus dancing. Slater didn't stand much of a chance after a headbutt to the chest from Brodus and then a big splash for the three.
Brodus celebrates by dancing and then the Draft montage begins. It cycles through the superstars and then stops on Cody Rhodes!
Rhodes is shown in the back, expressionless to the news.
Raw's second pick is then announced as the video plays through and then stops on Mark Henry!
Henry walks out on the stage and then towards the ring for the next match as Raw goes to a commercial break
Match 4 Big Show def. Mark Henry for 1 Draft Pick The crowd was very much into this match between the two big men. Henry attempted a spam on Show but it was countered and then Show nailed his signature knockout punch for the win.
Big Show holds the Intercontinental Championship over his shoulder and stares the titantron as it goes through the draft montage, revealing Smackdown's pick to be...Zack Ryder!
Ryder is shown in the back looking happy at the pick. He pumps his fist and says "Woo Woo Woo, You Know It!" as the crowd chants it along with him
After a commercial, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler run down whats happened so far and then announces that John Laurinaitis and Shane McMahon have agreed to a huge 5 on 5 main event for 3 picks that will feature WWE Champion CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Lord Tensai, Kofi Kingston, & R-Truth against World Champion Sheamus, Randy Orton, Christian, Daniel Bryan, & Chris Jericho!
They then announce that at Extreme Rules, John Cena suffered an injury at the hands of Brock Lesnar during the street fight. They said that Cena wasn't sure how serious it is yet but he will be out for a few months. Ross said he talked to Cena and Cena is vowing revenge on Lesnar when he returns.
CM Punk is interviewed about the big main event. He puts over his team and says that he has all of the faith in the world in them to secure Raw 3 picks.
The Miz is in the ring and announces that he challenges any superstar from Smackdown to face him with a draft pick on the line. Justin Gabriel is the one to accept the challenge.
Match 5 The Miz def. Justin Gabriel for 1 Draft Pick The crowd was very behind Gabriel for this match, lots of "Miz Sucks" chants. Gabriel put up one hell of an effort but was eventually caught off guard by the former WWE Champion and left laying with a Skull Crushing Finale.
After the match, The Miz gloated about the win as the titantron went through the draft montage and landed on THE UNDERTAKER!
The crowd erupted as Undertaker's signature gong went off and scared The Miz out of the ring but Undertaker never appeared
After a commercial, it was now time for the main event worth 3 Draft Picks
Main Event Sheamus, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Christian, & Chris Jericho def. CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Lord Tensai, Kofi Kingston, & R-Truth The crowd was nuts for the main event and was very much for both teams. The ending saw CM Punk looking to be on his way to picking up Raw 3 picks until his partner, Brock Lesnar nailed him from behind and then planted him with a vicious F5. This allowed Chris Jericho to pick up the scraps and cover Punk as Lesnar left through the crowd.
Following the loss, Team Smackdown celebrated as the first pick was announced to be Brodus Clay! The next pick was selected and it was Rey Mysterio! The final pick was selected and after anticipation it was revealed to be....Triple H!
The world was shocked as Triple H was sent to Smackdown. Jim Ross put over that despite being the COO, Triple H is still a member of the Raw roster and was eligible to be drafted.
Triple H appeared on stage with a Smackdown shirt in hand as Shane McMahon walked out behind him to close Raw. Jim Ross was last heard saying that the WWE has been changed forever.

Breaking News: John Morrison returning, plus others re-signed-John Morrison announced on his official Twitter account(@therealmorrison) that he has resigned with the WWE and will be a member of the Raw brand in his return to action. -Backstage sources have confirmed that Kid Kash and Shane Helms will be making their WWE returns in the very near future, maybe even as soon as Judgment Day. -With the recent signings, a rumor of bringing back the Cruiserweight Division on Smackdown has sparked. I wouldn't be surprised to see this happen as WWE is looking to sign more stars that would certainly be at home in that division.

RAW: - Okay, I'm very close to being lost at the very first scene. First off I don't like that you brought in a new general manager so soon since it makes the WrestleMania match for the GM spot's pretty much worthless, and then you bring someone in who quite frankly will not be working with the WWE again anytime soon? I'm not one to usually argue about realism but when it's bad booking and bad realism? Well then it becomes noticeable. - Good win for McIntyre and Jericho going to SmackDown is a big draft to start from. Plus he's the kind of star power SmackDown could do with. - I'm really hoping you do something more with The Uso's, they deserve to have held the titles long before now. Ziggler could take the next big step on SmackDown, I'm expecting to see him hitting the main event over there. - Didn't like such a throwaway match being for two draft picks but whatever. Rhodes and Henry on RAW adds to the heel side of things and makes up for what they've lost so far. - Ryder on SmackDown could be the pickup he needs right now to get him back on the hot track. - The Miz going over was the right move, but drafting The Undertaker was a complete waste of a pick. The guy can't wrestle more than one, maybe two at a stretch, matches per year and there's no need to even consider him as a brand member at this point. - A big main event with lackluster booking. There's no need to setup Lesnar/ Punk this early into his year long deal and quite frankly I think you'll be booking yourself into a hole with this feud. Either man losing makes them look weak. You'd have done far better by keeping Cena around and keeping that feud for at least another match. - I've got no problem with Brodus and Rey over to SmackDown, maybe this'll lead to the Mysterio/ Sin Cara feud we need before Mysterio inevitably retires in the next few years. But then you make the same mistake as earlier by completely wasting a draft pick on Triple H. His role as COO alone requires him to appear on both brands and I have no desire to see him back in the ring more than two to three matches in a year.
Not a great start to be honest. The writing is nothing special at this point and the layout is pretty ugly but both of them are fixable as you learn. The booking needs a lot of work as well though. You make some silly, and honestly rookie, mistakes that you'll get out of as things carry on.

First off, the layout is rather tedious. The opening with Triple H naming Shane as the General Manager is something that I'm not really a fan of. It pretty much makes the Tag Team match at WrestleMania meaningless, and I'm not sure where Teddy Long will fit in with any of this. Having McIntyre and Riley open the show would do nothing for the crowd at all. Jericho to SmackDown doesn't sound bad, however. A big win for The Usos that will hopefully launch them into the WWE Tag Team Championship picture. Ziggler to SmackDown is something I'm completely in favor for as I feel it's what's needed to make Ziggler the main event that he should've been at this point. A bit odd to see an obvious squash match have 2 Draft picks on the line. But nonetheless, a decent win for Brodus Clay. Get him into a real program soon. Cody Rhodes and Mark Henry to RAW sound great. Hopefully this move is what will get Cody to step up into the main event scene. Decent win for the Big Show over Mark Henry. Ryder going to SmackDown doesn't sound too bad. Could help him bounce back to his late-2011 status. Good victory for The Miz, but I hated how you wasted a draft pick on The Undertaker, someone who we won't even see until February-March of next year. This pick could've been used on a talent that would be allowed to showcase himself on RAW throughout the whole year. A huge main event, and good to see the SmackDown team go over. Maybe a Battle Royal would've been more appropriate though. Not really sure on setting up Punk/Lesnar this soon. Could've waited until a bigger stage such as SummerSlam or even 'Mania. Brodus Clay over to SmackDown hopefully means that you have real plans for him as I'm tired of seeing his consistent squashes. Mysterio to SmackDown sounds kinda nice. A lot of talent that I would love to see him work with, mainly Daniel Bryan. But Triple H being drafted is something that I absolutely hate. It's the same thing as The Undertaker. And as the COO, he's bound to appear on both RAW and SD anyways. Some good draft picks to work with, but the show itself seemed very dull and lackluster. I will, however, continue to read to see where you take this diary. Good luck.

Friday Night Smackdown 5/11/12--Results
An opening video plays recapping the Draft and all of the superstars that have come to smackdown. We then enter the arena where Shane McMahon is in the ring for his first night as the General Manager of Smackdown. He informs everyone that he plans to make Smackdown the number one show and the best way he can see to do that is to put the best of Smackdown against one another every week and this week, we will see Randy Orton take on one of Smackdown's newest stars in Dolph Ziggler, but that's not all. Sheamus will go one on one with Chris Jericho in the main event.
1.) Drew McIntyre def. Tyson Kidd. A good match from both guys, Kidd put up a fight but McIntyre would finish him off with the Future Shock at around 8:31.
--Before the next match, a video aired hyping the return of Kid Kash to Smackdown with the words "Coming Soon" at the end
2.) William Regal & Wade Barrett def. The Usos. A great tag team match up that the crowd was really into. The Usos took it to the new team of Barrett and Regal but unfortunately they weren't prepared for the smash mouth style they brought. Regal would end up nailing Jey Uso with the Knee Trembler for the win.
--Dolph Ziggler was interviewed by Josh Matthews. Ziggler put himself over and said that he is going to be the shining star of Smackdown now that he's left all of his distractions on Raw.
3.) Christian def. Brodus Clay. Clay wasn't taking the match too serious and was dancing out, playing with Christian. The two time world champion took offense to this and quickly rolled up the big man and used the ropes for extra leverage to pick up the surprise win. Christian quickly exited the ring and headed to the back as Brodus stood in the ring looking upset.
--After a commercial break, Josh Matthews tried getting an interview from Brodus Clay but he would have none of it and just walked past Matthews.
--Matt Striker and Scott Stanford announced that Triple H will be on Smackdown next week with an announcement about being drafted.
4.) Dolph Ziggler def. Randy Orton. The crowd was on fire for this match. Both of them brought everything they had but the ending is what surprised the crowd. Ziggler would counter the RKO by slamming Orton on the canvas and then catching him with a huge Superkick as he got up to pick up the win.
--Following the match, Daniel Bryan entered the ring from the crowd and grabbed a chair. Bryan viciously bashed the chair off of Orton's right shoulder. As Orton laid on the mat holding his shoulder, Bryan hit him three more times before leaving the ring with a sick smile.
--Big Show is shown in Shane McMahon's office. Shane informs Show that he wants to make the Intercontinental Title important and Show agrees and welcomes any challengers when Brodus Clay storms in the office and says he wants another match with Christian next week. Shane tells Brodus that you don't just barge into his office and demand things. Brodus apologizes and said he lost his cool, Shane says that Brodus can face Christian next week. Brodus and Big Show lock eyes and then Brodus says after he destroys Christian next week, he's coming for the Intercontinental Title and Big Show nods and says "I look forward to it."
5.) Sheamus def. Chris Jericho by DQ. Another great match that the crowd was really into. There were a lot of near falls but the ending saw Chris Jericho get himself disqualified by shoving the referee down after getting angry that Sheamus kicked out of a Codebreaker. Jericho knocked the referee out and then grabbed the World Title from outside. Sheamus got to his feet and tried to nail Jericho with the Brogue Kick when he came back but but Jericho ducked it and then blasted Sheamus in the head with the title when he turned back around. Jericho called Sheamus a "Stupid son of a bitch" and stood over him with the title as Smackdown came to an end.
