Well, it's the Padres, so no, it doesn't surprise me
we seem to have all the bad luck when it comes to these kinds of things

How is it confusing? The ball hit the bat, and went into fair territory. It's a live ball, and the Dodgers pulled the triple play. Still not as awesome as Eric Bruntlett's UNASSISTED triple play to end a Phillies/Mets game in 2009.

How is it confusing? The ball hit the bat, and went into fair territory. It's a live ball, and the Dodgers pulled the triple play. The home plate umpire IMMEDIATELY signaled that it was a foul ball.
