WFWF Loaded 4/17/12 023: Mystery RE: Slanted
hey let’s meet up again. text me your address.
Slanted is a mystery.
Unfortunately, this mystery man will remain a mystery. You see, come Loaded, Slanted is going to make his long awaited debut in the WFWF and he’s going to be standing across the ring against the very best this company has to offer, a self professed and proven killing machine, who’s pissed off at the world around him. Pissed off at Hutton Brown for stealing his spotlight. Pissed off at Michael Kyzer for being a genuinely scummy person. Pissed off at Trace Demon for continuing to exist. Pissed off at Thunder for making Percy the second best member of Los Hobos by continuing to decrease in skills, proving the old saying that you start at the bottom of the card and end at the bottom absolutely correct. Pissed off at Cam Nitta for ducking me. Pissed off at Xavier Pierce for booking me in this god awful scenario. Pissed off at EBR for taking his ball and going home and pissed off at Pierce Deville for getting himself arrested.
You’re standing across the ring and staring down a genuinely miserable, irritated, angry, vengeful man will the proven power and ability to end people. I’ve done it to similar stature opponents like yourself. I’ve done it to the top of the card. When I am not happy, no one is happy. And unfortunately for the legacy of Slanted, it’ll be a story that I have to tell. People aren’t going to tell this epic ambitious story of the rise and demise of Slanted. Because only one person will truthfully remember this story to tell. The only person who remembers the legacy of such former WFWF stars as Lightening, Lincoln Dina, and Benja Hart.. Slanted.. Your legacy starts and ends here, as a permanent mark on my record, another body added to my death pool.
I’m sorry.

this is completely half assed, it sucks, and it's a mere clipping of what I wrote this week.. Most of what I wrote this week will actually be used next show, even if it does screw one angle's timeline up. I'm very proud of what I put together this week, and didn't want to put it out for a no show.

I loved it, ha. If someone was to do a small piece and make it as effective as possible, this would be a great example of that. My favorite part was the line about Cam Nitta ducking you. One day sir, you will get your National Title and Grand Slam status.

Pissed off at EBR for taking his ball and going home
Between this and your use of my character in your PPV RP I'm beginning to get the impression you didn't read my last RP.

Solid little monologue. You covered your bases, made me laugh...for what this was, it was actually pretty damn good.

I find your lack of effort as champion of this fed sad. You don't want to waste it on a no show, but you are supposed to set a standard here and you don't with this. I usually consider you one of the best here but it seems that I am wrong.
It sucks when someone no shows, but it is part of the game. It happens. You can be a baby and mail it in because you think someone is going to no show.
I was looking forward to finally seeing some progression with your storylines but I guess we will have to wait even longer.

I wrote a PPV caliber roleplay, I'd put it in my top 5 since returning. It's been read by someone who can vouch it's quality stuff.. But because it's really quality, I don't want to use it, when I can get the job done with this. This is the very tail end of the monologue, the only piece I couldn't re-purpose. This is a competition, afterall. I made an analogy in the discussion box that I'm sticking with. "You don't use your level 100 Charizard's hyper beam on a level 2 Pidgey". I've got my next two roleplays pretty much written, and part of the third. I've also got three different segments and a well written match on this card. I certainly haven't been sitting idle in my "time off". Also didn't "think" my opponent was going to no show. I had this, and my complete roleplay queued, coded, and ready to post. If you notice the times, this was posted 4 minutes before deadline, and by my clock, it was 1 minute before deadline. And I had another tab refreshing the main page..

I was just expressing my opinion. I don't feel that you have to put out PPV quality every week but as a champion, I believe you are held to a higher standard. My question, if you think your opponent is just going to no-show next week, are you going to put up something like this again?

I didn't mail it in against Thunder so that makes me a better champ than you.

I believe I speak for E (who I believe was the one who said this a while back) and everyone else when I say "Shots Fired."

I've got no problem with Obo doing this. I've seen him do it before, and I've done it with one of my old characters. I could have done it this week. I chose not to - the outlying difference being I had a less than stellar performance to rebound from, whereas Obo does not. He's proved time and time again that he's got the talent to earn distinctions such as titles. He writes several rp's in advance, not to mention all his own matches, and at least a segment per show. If he's got work that he's put in that he would like to save for an opponent that's actually doing to do him the service of showing up and playing the game, then I believe he's earned the right to that prerogative, 'cause as I can tell you, it's a real kick in the teeth to know your opponent isn't going to show.

I understand about the no showing, my first two opponents no showed here. I just feel as a champion you shouldn't mail it in. As someone who looked around here for awhile before hand, I watched what people put out so I could get a judge of the place before I spent time writing here. Seeing this from what is supposed to be your top rper, doesn't make the fed look good. It is obvious that Schneider doesn't care about the overall well being of the fed or he wouldn't have the attitude and mentality that he does. I have said what I thought and won't say anymore.

I wouldn't say that he doesn't care, just that he is difficult to work with. Like I said earlier, that win will always be mired in controversy, so you statement isn't necessarily true.

I don't blame you for doing this, but I can see what Elias is trying to say. A little disappointed, but we all know when you bring it, you really bring it. It was good for what it was.
