so the 2 DDP's i ordered came in today (1 for me,1 for The Coon)...  and,for the most part,he looks really good...  but that head HAD to be modded,so i did!  first off, i cut that hanging strands of hair off...  then repainted the moustache/goatee and eyebrows a darker color...  did up the sideburns a bit...  and overwashed the hair for the "dirty blonde" look...  sure as hell am NOT going to say it's perfect,but i like it a LOT better this way,and i feel it makes him look more like DDP,rather than some 89's hair band lead singer!  |

Do I say it? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?  I would kill for that figure and in my opinion you ruined it. The only change to that figure I would have done is swapped the elbow pads for a bit larger pair and add a chain around the neck. YOU RUINED IT!!!!!!!! |

More detailed and I agree -- it looks more like DDP. If I ever get this fig, I'd do almost the same exact thing. |

I'm sorry but it had to be said.... No it didnt. The figure MOC didnt look like his likeness on the package. He fixed that. |

Look at Dean's version to see how it should be done.... Regardless how somebody else did it, doesn't mean you tear down this person's work. Nor does it mean that this one is BAD. Somebody else's could well be better -- still doesn't justify telling this person they ruined a figure. He's happy with it, and that's ultimately all that matters. Again, I like this 100x's better than the figure straight out of the box. |

While his dark wash was a bit much for my liking, beyond a shadow of a doubt his DDP's figure looks more like the actual wrestler with darker facial hair. Cutting the stupid strands of hair was great! Any tips for doing that? |

With that, I'll agree. It's 27 bucks, plus shipping and the only accessory you get is a vest -- Then that horrid bang across his face, the facial hair color is ORANGE...it's just not impressive out of the box. I was a DDP fan myself, and would love to have a figure of him, but if I buy this one, I will certainly be making similar changes. It may not still be perfect, but it'll damn well be closer. |

A much lighter paint wash would be a much needed addition to this figure. Lighter.

I think it looks fantastic. I would just suggest making the sides more of a brownish color. I'm afraid to try it on mine.
