God, some people on here are so uptight! It's funny, I don't think I know you from around here. It's funny, I looked up your last 50 posts, which go all the way to January of this year and this is your only comment in the Pic Fed area. Funny, makes me think you just like to show up and stir some cheap drama.  No, funny boy. I post all over, not JUST here. I am not stirring up anything, BUT you would have known that if you had read my last 50 posts. I am commenting on how RUDE you were to a new member who came in here to post about his show. Instead of simply being cool and saying "Hey, bro, you posted in the wrong section.". you took a snotty tone with the guy and acted like an a-hole uber-mod. I looked under your screen name, and funny thing, it didn't say you were assigned the position of A-Hole Uber-Mod. Have you noticed the way things have been happening around these boards lately? There has been a distinct inactivity around here, and if older members like you - OR ME - don't adopt a welcoming attitude towards new members trying to promote their stuff then they won't post here and the boards die. When all the guys who were here when you and I started start retiring and new guys are intimidated or turned off by older members, then it will go away. I, personally, want to see these boards thrive. I love the pic feds, like I'm sure you do. As for stirring up trouble, again, no. I just think we could all be a kinder, gentler board. ;D |

So yeah Were in the same boat You know, I wasn't trying to stir up drama. I have seen this in several areas of these boards where new people are chastised for posting the wrong area instead of a veteran member simply saying "You should post that over here." We all want to be welcoming to newer members, and not take the boards so damn seriously was all I was trying to get across. |

Heat of the moment for you, barry, and heat of the moment for me, if you are willing to see it that way and it works for you. I think that's all it adds up to, and if you have been able to see, I am not one to escalate drama and I don't mind holding out my hand and calling a misunderstanding a misunderstanding. We all have times when we have been super polite here and when we have been super rude, when he have been super nice guys and when we have been super douches. Nobody is perfect. It's all good, bro. Like I said, no issues here with ya! By the by, if I WERE to shoot out responses out like a 201 pound salad shooter, I'd probably respond to your stuff first, as it is currently the most entertaining thing on the fed board right now. BUT I have no criticism to offer, so I'll refrain for now. |
