Rewatched All-Star Weekend Night One's Guerrilla Warfare match and the Fox/Del Sol vs. Inner City matches. Warfare was absolutely insane the first time I watched it and that hasn't changed. Tag match was wild, hopefully Del Sol (well now Kalisto) debuts in NXT soon, and Ricochet is the man. 2013 was awesome in PWG

Finished watching All Star Weekend X - Night One... Elgin VS ACH - I realize this was the match to kind of bring every down a bit after the last one, give the crowd some breathing room, but me dead, this was utter crap, Elgin and ACH have zero chemistry here and at times it plodded along, from spot to spot with no reason whatsoever... my brother and I spent a lot of time just shaking our heads at just what the we just watched. The Young Bucks/Kevin Steen VS AR Fox/Rich Swann/Ricochet - MOTN by far, fun, spotty but in a good way, incredible sequences from all involved, and the finish was simply amazing, loved the effort from everyone. Cole VS Hero - I hope I do not incur the wrath of the IWC here, but I was really hoping Hero would last in NXT so that by him 'making it' it would free up a spot for a younger, more able guy to shine. In that time, several talents have, one being the current PWG World champion, Adam Cole, who has been a fantastic talent, not just a cocky, brash heel. The reason I hope also that Hero would shine was so that he would not come back to PWG...I admire the guy, but not as a wrestler; his way of working rubs me up the wrong way, his physique is unfortunately distracting, especially WHEN HE STOPS THE MATCH FOR NO REASON JUST TO SOAK UP ADULATION. I just don't get it, I really don't. The match was typical of Hero's, countless nearfalls and grunts, nothing Hero did helped make a connection to me, and sadly Cole did not seem to come off as a strong champion, even when he insisted that the rest of Mt Rushmore go backstage...there was even a ref bump for 's sake...I realize I'm in the minority here, and hopefully this post does not elicit negative responses as this is most definitely not my intention; Jack can attest I am merely an Australian wrestling fan who loves PWG and wants them to continue to put on great shows...surely a bit of rhyme and reason isn't too much to ask for? Onto Night Two... RockNES VS PPRay VS B-Boy/Willie Mack - fun opener, and it set an exciting feel to get the crowd to their feet...I take it back Jack; since their heel turn, RockNES have really come into their own, and I applaud them for sticking in there; loving the stuff PPRay are doing, and of course Willie Mack - saddled with talentless HEAT-SUCKING goon B-Boy (again the only blemish in this match). Case in point, if you'll bear with me - the spot where Willie suplexes Yuma AND Avalon ((impressive, gets a great pop)...as soon as he got it, place explodes, but instead of letting Willie have a few scan seconds to take it all in, B-Boy saps Willie's heat, rushes straight into the next spot which resulted in a ing quadruple-down...WAS IT SO HARD TO JUST LET IT SINK IN FOR A FEW SECONDS? ALL THAT SCRAMBLING crap FOR A ING QUADRUPLE DOWN? Ciampa VS Nese - I REALLY don't understand why Ciampa is as over as he is (or over at all, TBH) and unfortunately Nese just can't get on a roll... Best Friends VS Unbreakable F'n Machines - Fun, exciting and funny as hell...proof positive that Best Friends are one of the best tag teams to perform for PWG in recent history, excellent match that was good to all participants. Only downside? The dude with the red baseball shirt who hugged his friend when Trent and Chuck did; comes off on the DVD as such a mark thing to do...focus should be on Best Friends. Hero VS ACH - What did ACH do to deserve (at this point) run of losses in PWG? Another headshaker from my brother and I, based mainly towards Hero. Hero couldn't play along with the basketball stuff that ACH does, but was all too happy to emulate Norman Smiley at an inopportune moment in the match? He was all too happy to mock the basketball schtick later, albeit briefly? I wanted to like this match, but couldn't - Hero just doesn't have it in him to engage, and ACH's best match was against Kyle O'Reilly; he seems to be an afterthought now... Dojo Bros VS Fox/Swann - this was a good match, a return to form of sorts, though at first I thought it would be a squash match (someone audibly yelled the same thing at one point in the crowd). Reminded me of a tag match from the '80s where the heels would dominate then when the faces got their comeback, the heat was through the roof...crowd loved Fox and he has improved...nice sendoff for Eddie Edwards too... That's all I could take for one night; I'll watch the rest later and see about leaving my thoughts...cheers... Will give my thoughts now: Elgin vs. ACH - Meh Meh Meh. Was ok, I actually really liked the finishing sequence, that seemed to flow well, the rest of the match just did not work. These men actually had a match in ROH that seemed to work much better than this. Believe it or not, they had some chemistry. Bucks vs. Ricochet,Fox,Swann - I thought this was pretty ing great. I liked the pace of the match, some nice drama awesome spots and I love Chuck Taylor on commentary. Cole vs. Hero - I didn't like this. It reminded me off Cole vs. O'Reily from the show before which Chris might agree with. I just thought it was ok. Overbooked once more. Onto Night Two: Opener - I really liked this match, one of the better openers actually in recent memory. Awesome spots, all that I wanted. Ciampa vs. Nese - I do like Nese but Ciampa has never hit it with me, just doesn't connect, doesn't win me over. Best Friends vs. Elgin and Cage - Awesome match, loved this. Thats all I have to say. Hero vs. ACH - Didnt like it. Boring, dull, i love ACH and don't like to see him get buried to Hero who looked shit. DoJo vs. Fox and Swann - Thought this was pretty awesome actually, one of my favourite matches of the night. Had some awesome spots and really flowed well for me. Nice Stuff. Will comment my next wee bit when Chris does that

Finished watching All Star Weekend X - Night Two... Ricochet VS Davey Richards - I appreciate that Richards did the right thing by putting over Gargano the night before and then Ricochet in this match, but it is the way which he did it that just didn't gel with me...a lot of the spots in this match seemed to be done just for the sake of being done as if to tick them off an imaginary list...I especially HATE it when Richards gets an inverted rana and no-sells it instantly JUST to do a double-down...but the fans eat it up like it's the ing best thing they've ever seen...Jesus... The Young Bucks/Kevin Steen VS Drake Younger/Joey Ryan/Candice LeRae - another great showing by The Young Bucks; Steen wasn't bad either, and Im really digging Joey and Candice...there were some moments in this match that had me exclaiming in joy, so they did well...but Drake seemed to just be put into this match just so he could have a match. Cole VS Gargano - I like both guys, especially Cole since his rise to the top of PWG...Gargano unfortunately suffers from the mindset that great wrestling equates to doing HEAPS OF STUFF SO THAT THE AUDIENCE IS OVERWHELMED...it may work for the audience in the Legion Hall on that night, but to someone like my brother and myself, it merely washes over us; and has the opposite intended effect - Gargano, instead of looking strong, looked as bullcrap as Cena with deadselling and some unusually strong kickouts...Cole looked lost at times due to this...again, like the match Cole had with Hero, is it too much to ask for a bit of rhyme and reason? I know it's not JCP, the days of Flair making others look amazing BUT ABLE TO KEEP UP IN A BELIEVABLE FASHION DREW MONEY AND RESPECT...this exhausted us, so much so that we can't watch full PWG DVDs in one sitting, we need to break it up... DDT4 2014...(so far) RockNES VS Best Friends - A great, fun opener, loved it...Best Friends and RockNES surprising had good chemistry here, and the ending was hilarious, loved every second of it. Isn't it incredible how far Trent has come since his debut last year? He looked crap against Paul London and Roderick Strong in his first couple of matches? Unbreakable F'n Machines VS PPRay - These four guys did the best they could with the story they had to tell...still entertaining in their own way, but yeah...not a match to write home about... COLE STEEN COLE VS Candice LeRae/Joey Ryan - This was a great match IMO, got the crowd going in a great way, it was fun and also somewhat sinister when it came to Steen and Candice...ending was great too, good stuff. Tommaso Ciampa VS Adam Thornstowe - I only watched this match out of morbid curiousity to see what Thornstowe was like...what a mistake that was...if you want to make a good impression in PWG, you're not gonna do it with someone Ciampa... ing lazy ...Can anyone tell me WHY Ciampa is over with the Reseda fans? How is anything he does impressive? Why can't someone work over his knee when he pulls down his kneepad? Does he believe that being stiff is the only way to 'work' a match? I believe it's only Ciampa, Hero and B-Boy I'm not a fan of in PWG now, but if what Thornstowe brought to the table is all he is capable of then sadly he joins that list...My brother and I basically 'rage quit' after this pathetic 'match'...I love PWG but the sooner t**ts like Ciampa bugger off I'll be even happier... Again, that's all I could take for one night; I'll watch the rest later and see about leaving my thoughts again...cheers Jack... Ricochet vs. Davey - This was a good match, but too me it looked like Davey did not give a shit. He was just going through the motions. Nonetheless still liked it. 6 Man - Better than the 6 man the night before for me, had more drama, liked the sequences more (apart from when candice almost killed Matt Jackson with the fameasser LOL) Main Event - I really liked this actually, probably more than Chris does just because I mark for both of these guys. I thought it was a little too long. My only problem. Had a really hot finish though which I liked. DDT4 Rockness vs. Best Friends - I hated Trent until his match with Kyle at BOLA then I realised how good he actually is. This was ing great. Elgin and Cage vs. PPRAY - PPRAY are hilarious imo, but this match was to 1 sided to be anything special for me. Had some nice double teams I guess and for what it was I didn't mind it. Cole Steen Cole vs. Candice and Joey - Loved the hell out of this again. They worked so well together and the match had great drama too it. Nice finish, woul dhave liked to see it go on longer but oh well, I am happy. Thornstowe vs. Ciampa - OMG WHY DID HE FACE CIAMPA, WHAT AN AWFUL OPPONENT TO TRY AND MAKE A NAME FOR YOURSELF. These guys had no chemistry with each other and it was just very meh. Urgh, i really didn't like it. @3nwpro

Holy Jesus, this triple tag match is killing me. I's going soooooo long. The 3 team match at Mystery Vortex had no business being over 15 minutes.
