Mystery Vortex II: Some thoughts. Pt1 Operner Triple Threat: Goddamn, I didn't expect all of that, that was  in' awesome. Andrew Everett is a goddamn madman. Highest elevation of a shooting star I've ever seen. All three were pretty good, I liked it. 6 Man Tag, RockNEs and Avalon vs B-Boy, Joey Ryan, and Willie Mack(The Reseda Oreo): Not bad. I feel like B-Boy just sort of phones it in every time he's in the ring now. I don't know what it is about him, but it just always seems like he doesn't give two shits and a . Anyway, fun little match here, kept my attention, mostly because I love RockNES and Avalon, they're in' awesome. Strong vs Neese: Not bad, but pretty meh for me, but I'll never turn down a chance to see the suplex/lungblower. The 3 Way tag team match: WAY too long, holy jesus. I'd a birthday watching this. It was all stuff that could have been done within like 15 minutes, and the match went 25. Goddamn. Watching the rest as we speak. Also, CHRIS HERO AIN'T NOTHIN' TO WIT. |

African American Wolves vs. Unbreakable F'N Machines vs. Inner City Machine Guns: ***1/2
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Chris Hero: ***
Johnny Gargano vs. Kyle O'Reilly: ****
PWG World Tag Team Championship Match:
The Young Bucks(c) vs. Best Friends: ***1/4
PWG World Championship Match:
Adam Cole(c) vs. Candice LeRae: **3/4
This show was just a bit underwhelming. It is a PWG show that I feel we have seen before over and over again with matches that just felt pretty repetitive and frankly a bit lack luster. Opener and Kyle vs. Gargano were both amazing matches, enjoyed the hell out of them. The rest of the show was kind there. The 3 way tag was good but just something we have seen before, didn't feel fresh. It just feels like they are running out of ideas for me which is disappointing.
I wanna talk about the main events. The tag match first. Now my rating might not reflect the whole story of the match, it was fairly good for the first 3/4 of the match. Teams had good chemistry, nice spots looked like it could be a really great match. But then the WWE/TNA overbooking kicked in. OMG in capital letters at how bad this finish was. So underwhelming. Having this kind off finish once in a blue moon is ok but is becoming a regular event, which just leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
Main event, Candice vs. Cole. Now before I start I love both of these wrestlers, both great. I loved the build to this match, made sense. But my god this was just lack luster. My man Ashes力 might agree with me that I was expecting the kinda match that Sara Del Rey had in Chikara against the likes of Eddie Kingston. You genuinely thought she could win, you genuinely thought this was a main event world title match. It was just a mid card style match, nothing special at all. You NEVER thought she could win, crowd NEVER thought she could win and it just turned into a meh match sadly. Watch the finish to the match, it sums it up.
Sigh, I love PWG, one of my favourite promotions without doubt. I just hope they can begin to change a few things about their product and try and evaluate what they do right and wrong. Their up and coming show does look great, that being said.

Mystery Vortex Thoughts, Pt. II: Ciampa/Hero: Good match, stiff. I actually jumped out of my seat at one point wher Hero just NAILED Ciampa with a rolling elbow to the back of the head. Decent,m I liked it. Gargano/O'Reilly: GREAT match, Kyle has been KILLING IT in PWG, and the smae could be said for Gargano. Something new, I'm all for Kyle as champion. Great match from the two, they need a rematch. Tag title match: I love the Best Friends as a tag team, they're just so fun to watch. The Bucks are killer heels, because I just want to see them get decked in the mouth on repeat. Also, I had a good five minute laugh with Nick Jackson sort of putting the trent-chcoat on(I'm glad I'm not the only one who made the pun), and just sort of saying " it" and shedding it, and Hero comparing him to "Sigmund the Sea Monster". 5 straight minutes I laughed. I know this, when the Bucks lose the titles this time, I swear to you, Reseda will pop HUGE. The problem is, they've pretty much run through every tag team that PWG has, with the exception of(I think) The Unbreakable Machines.Which leads into the netx match. Candice/Adam Cole: I really like the story told here, I just don't think that this should have been the main event. It almost felt like a flat, and disappointing end to the night, which I'm sure, is done by design, but eh, I'd have rather ended on the tag straps. That being said, not a bad match, just sort of bad placement, I think. Same with Cole as far as that when he loses the belt, Reseda will blow up. I sure will. I think O'Reilly has a GREAT chance of doing that next show, bgut time will tell. Meh show, a couple of highlights here and there, but it's been seen before, I think, with the exception of that crazy-ass opener. |

All in all, I'd say definitely worth a buy

Agree 100%. Anything for a pop, eh? Yeah, as I said, just getting a bit repetitive. I think it's a bit repetitive, I prefer a stiff, submission style battle like with Kyle O'Reilly, but I still really enjoy the athletic ability showcased by guys like Ricochet, ACH etc. |

The fact that just about EVERYONE does it takes the shine off it, doesn't it? When someone like Cage and Roddy do it, to me it's great cos you don't expect it, or associate it with them as much... I agree. Cage is a freak of nature, so seeing him doing a big-ass moonsualt even gets me to pop. It's just when everyone else does it, it's so repetitive. It's like "Dive, dive, dive, flip dive, yawn snore gag" |

Kyle O'Reily vs Adam Cole was a good match I heard. The last show Mystery 2 is it worth getting the DVD? I heard so too, I rewatched their Matt Rushmore and it was very good, can't wait to see this one. Mystery 2 is definitely worth the buy I thought, all around the show was very good. |
