Don't get your hopes up, those wanting an iPPV. There will defo not be an IPPV, they have said NUMEROUS times they just do DVD's.

They really need to grow as a company. Their fan base is outgrowing the DVD only format.
At this rate they could easily do more PPV buys then ROH.

Although a lot of guys would opt to work for PWG from what I've heard on shoots and interview.

PWG doesn't run near enough shows to allow someone to do that. It would be a major step down for them.

The legion post hinders them as well IMO. That place is packed to the brim every show. A larger venue would only help. Look at the crowds they used to draw in the rec center. If they had a bigger venue with the product they put on now their attendance would more then double. Don't the shows typically sell out fast?

Yeah, too bad there's these things called contracts that you can't just walk out on and work wherever you want. That and the fact that PWG doesn't have the money to match what ROH would pay those guys. And to people thinking this would do higher PPV buys than ROH, give me a break. I love PWG and this BOLA field, but that's an asinine notion. Multi-day tournaments on iPPV aren't really going to do decent PPV buys. Look at the old Evolve Style Battle from a year or two ago and the New Japan G1 from last year...or even this year's BOSJ.

One thing is for sure. Steen not being announced for BOLA yet is leading me to believe the rumors are true that he's heading to NXT.

Is it me or has the Young Bucks barely defended their PWG Tag Titles?

I noticed that. They seem to like booking them in six man tags instead of having them defend the belts.

Look at the old Evolve Style Battle from a year or two ago and the New Japan G1 from last year...or even this year's BOSJ. Do you work there and know their finances? Or how much High Spots does put into the shows if that's true? I'd assume no so I don't know where your getting your evidence to back up that they don't have the money to match ROH. Yes ROH has a larger company backing them but do you think any of those guys are making great money outside of Cole, Steen, Styles, ReDragon, Roddy, etc? Hell a lot of ROH shows don't even feature some of their top tier guys anymore. And again where did I say anything about guys walking from their contracts? That's right I didn't. In fact I did not even use any talent names in this discussion. Im strictly speaking about the company. Just a few years ago they couldn't afford AJ, MCMG, LAX, etc. And now they have the cash for AJ, Sabin, Kaz, Myers (doubt he's working indies for cheap), etc. So they clearly are more financially stable then in the past. This entire discussion is about long term plans. Im not saying in three months they should have a TV deal, contracts, PPV, etc. Im simply saying they are capable of these things and clearly choose not to grow. Which from a business stand point does not make much sense.

Didn't see Best in the World so I had no idea about that. The show didn't interest me much and the reviews I've read didn't make me jump to see it.

It doubt they'd ever want to. There's no reason to try and fix something that's not broken. They're happy and working were they're at, there's no reason to risk that. Not everyone wants to be some expanding huge promotion. They found their niche and they're more than happy with where they're at and with who they got, and expanding and doing iPPVs and everything would risk all of that.

Fair enough I just don't see the point in running a wrestling promotion if your goal isn't to make it as big as you can.

Expanding and getting bigger and all that jazz would effect that and they don't want to do it. They wouldn't be able to do what they want or use who they want. They just wanna be what they are. Plus there's always the huge risk that they'd fail expanding like a lot of shows do and would have to admit defeat and go back after trying to reinvent their wheel for no real reason or would risk the life of the promotion.
