Was just thinking, not one single PPV this year has had a major title in the main event Royal Rumble - Royal Rumble Match Elimination Chamber - Cena vs Kane Wrestlemania - Cena vs Rock Extreme Rules - Cena vs Brock It's obvious WWE doesn't give a about titles anymore and the WWE and WHC at this moment are worthless.

...and most PPV's this year will continue that trend.

What did you expect though?
At almost every Royal Rumble PPV the Rumble match main events.
At EC Kane vs Cena was the best choice to close the show since the WHC EC looked weak on paper and turned out to be a good match with a lame start, The Raw EC would have been a bad way to close the show since it would have ended with Punk retaining his Title that he was obviously going to retain since Jericho was taken out of the match and it was obvious Miz wasn't going into WM as the Champion so Kane vs Cena was the way to go unless WWE was going to have Jericho run back into the Chamber and win the Title to end the PPV in a controversial fashion.
At WM there was no way in hell Rock vs Cena wouldn't main event the show and somehow if that match wasn't going to close the show then Vince would have went with HIAC instead of the squash WHC match and Punk/Jericho.
At Extreme Rules Lesnar vs Cena II is the best way to close the show and that's about it.

I honestly think Cena vs Brock closing the show, in Chicago, is going to end up being a massive mistake on WWE's part. Maybe not, because maybe there will be enough Cena hate to make the crowd go nuts, but I feel like they are going to blow their load during the WWE Title match. I'm honestly not sure how Chicago will react to Lesnar.

I feel like the WWE title match as a chance at main eventing at Over the Limit, as I see it being Chris Jericho versus Punk in a I Quit match.

Sorry bud, but that is stupid reasoning. It was right for Cena to main event because the WWE CHAMPIONSHIP match result was 'obvious'? So you thought Cena might lose to Kane going into a match vs Rock? ... The EC main event should have been WWE Championship EC. Wrestlemania/ER main events I agree with, however.

Being as it's Punks home town and how much of a reaction he gets there I think you'd get more of a reaction letting Punk go at it with Jericho, plus in addition to that CM Punk Vs Y2J will be a better match than Lesnar Vs John Cena.

cm punk vs y2j could go last since its cm punks hometown so the crowd will be alive for this match but its brock lesnars return match since wm 20. This match between lesnar and cena doesn't feel big to me like the rock and cena was.

Non-Title matches have a history of not going on last in past years as well. I seem to remember at least 3 times in 1999 that the main event was Austin/McMahon twice and Triple H/McMahon once. And you can't count the rumble because it's always been the main event in the last number of years, except for 2006 when BOTH championship matches went on after the rumble match.

They realized that the WWE Title match isn't always the match the fans paid money for. The obvious example is Wrestlemania X8. Rock/Hogan was HUGE, and the crowd was dead for the main event, Jericho/HHH for the WWF Title. Since then they put the largest-promoted match as the main event. It's not necessarily devaluing the World Titles, just hyping up a bigger match.
