Title asks the question: In what situations during the day have YOU uttered the famed "YES! YES! YES!" today?
So I umpire little league baseball in my town. Don't get me wrong, the money's great, but I worked two days straight and I was slated to work again. I didn't want to work. Once the heavens opened up and rain started to pour, I jumped up and started shouting "YES!" over and over.
YES! is a global phenomenon. Let's hear some of your YES! stories.

Well this a great thread to accommodate all the YES! YES! YES! Fanatics out there. Although once when I was taking state finals in high school, a fire broke out. The school was evaluated immediately while the state exams were in progression. We all waited outside while the issue was being taken care of. It turns out the damage left by the fire was so intense we had to leave and couldn't go back to the school for 2 weeks while everything was being prepared. The test that I had to take that day was accounted for and my gpa when up a considerable amount as they average the amount of questions I had completed during that day and averaged it to the final total amount overall. I was very pleased with the RESULTS AND IN JOY I WENT YES! YES! YES! As for the fire it happens that a student was smoking in the bathroom and he left a still lit cigarette in the bathroom and he was suspended from school.

Power went off in apartment for over 2 hours.
When it came back on, I legit started the YES chant (said it about 6 times.) Neighbors didn't join in :/

I was at an arena football game with some of my firends, and when the team we were pulling for scored I started the "YES!" chant, and then all my friends joined in. Sadly, the rest of the arena just went on with their normal cheers  |

After a successful first date with a chick I met online. I got back home, parked, got out of the car, and did the sideways run up the front walk - while chanting "YES...YES...YES!" right in front of my neighbors. I didn't care, and neither did they.

I was picking horses at the racetrack and my dad was ribbing me because I never picked a winner. Well guess what my reaction was when #19 won the Kentucky Derby....
