As reported earlier by PWTorch, Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson is on-set finishing up his parts for "G.I. Joe: Retaliation", due in theaters on June 29th of this year. According to his Twitter he is done filming "Pain and Gain", a Michael Bay film featuring Mark Wahlberg, and will begin work on "Fast and the Furious 6" and "Empire State" this month.
The Rock is currently "rumored" to play the lead role in Chuck Russell's "Arabian Nights", but has not been confirmed at this point. With that film not launching until 2014, it is possible that Rock could be open for a WWE return as soon as early July.

I could have sworn Rock said a while back he would be a part of Summerslam, but haven't heard anything since. Wonder who he would face if it's Brock/HHH. Cena rematch? Punk? Though I can't see him going after the WWE title until Mania. Randy Orton maybe?

Though I can't see him going after the WWE title until Mania. Randy Orton maybe? Not to seem like a troll but, The Rock is the last person to be given a World Title in the WWE, IMO. The may reason is the fact he probably won't be at most of TV events. A major example of this is Shawn Michaels. Shawn thought that a World Champion should be at every TV taping or live event. That is why he never had the again world title after 2002, because he wasn't going to the live events and didn't think it was right. IMO, the only way the Rock is getting another world title reign is if he is going to drop the title within a month of obtaining it. |

Just in time! Rock Vs. Brock II at SummerSlam for the WWE title. Which would mean a few things. 1. Punk/Bryan will be incredibly short. 2. Brock Lesnar will DESTROY one, if not both of them to get the title 3. Rock/Brock will be rushed. 4. Fans will be pissed, and internet fans will be wanting Lesnars blood and out of WWE for destroying punk/bryan. |

July is also the 1000th episode of RAW. In sure he's gonna be there.

He will be filming movies in July. Fast 6 and Empire State have only just begun filming. June is gonna be busy cuz he has the press tour for GI Joe, including the world wide premiere June 15 in Seoul, South Korea, followed by the US tour.
Could he show up or tape a message for 1000th Raw...sure. Could he work a match at SS, yeah......but it wouldnt have much hype to it considering he wouldnt be able to fit enough tv time before it.

Either have Lesnar vs HHH happen at No Way Out or MITB and give us Lesnar vs Rock II at SummerSlam or give us Lesnar vs HHH at SummerSlam and Rock vs CM Punk or Randy Orton, Save Rock vs Cena II for WM29.

I was under the impression he'd be doing Summerslam also.
I think it will be Rock v Brock at Wrestlemania, and Austin vs Cena on the same show.
So Summerslam, perhaps Rock / Cena 2?

If they do Rock vs Brock, it doesn't need the WWE Title to be a big match. Just like the Rock/Cena match didn't need it.

I think they should have him come in one week, challenge Punk for the championship. Lesnar comes out, destroys Rock, says he wants the title. So he injures Rock, takes the belt from Punk, Rock makes his grand return at the Rumble, wins, Brock vs. Rock at Mania 29 for the WWE Championship

I would be happy however it seems his schedule is too busy for July or Summerslam.
I will be happy whenever he comes back though. No rush for me atm.
