Yes, we hear about it and complain about it all the time- jobbers and new superstars are too shortpacked. Mattel can't risk making wrestlers who won't sell (the reason why Trent Barreta and Mike McGillicutty are double retail on RSC. simply business). That's just how it is. I understand the economy being crap and Mattel being safe. But let's live in a fantasy land for a little bit and list 6 jobbers who we would love to debut/get repaints in their own series.
RA 17 was one of my favorite figure lineups ever. Quick rundown if you forgot or don't know; we got a Paul London repaint (CW champ/Velocity main eventer), Orlando Jordan with new hair (Velocity main event/US champ/JBL's manservant), Hardcore Holly (Velocity guy's RA figure debut), Nunzio (CW/Velocity guy's debut figure), Tajiri (Heat mainstay), and Steven Richards (most notable thing he did after the Victoria pairing was get killed by Chris Masters).
If you could plan a whole Mattel basics set (or Elites but these guys might not have decent accessory ideas) based on lowcarders, who would you put in?
Throw all logical thought about who would sell or who wouldn't... just be somewhat realistic for the situation. I don't think they'd give Hunico a whole bicycle. They're not going back to do Archer or Caylen Croft (sadly). And I'm operating under the assumption that Tensai will get a figure for sure, and Cesaro/Sandow pending TV time are going to get figures.
And just list 6. Otherwise these lists can just go on forever. I know from experience, dude.

Tyler Reks (debut figure- pink and black attire)

AJ (debut- whatever attire)
