Kinda interesting to see a UFC event on a Tuesday. By the time I get back from work, the prelims will begin. Awesome.

^ Yeah, a UFC event on Tuesday seems... kind of weird (I suppose they couldn't schedule it for the weekend because of the Strikeforce show?). Should be fun though.

10-9 rivera, looked great standing. soto got one takedown, didnt do much with it though.

10-9 rivera. i think soto landed more, but rivera definitely landed the 4 or 5 biggest shots of the round, including getting a knockdown on a flash head kick. soto's got a chin, rivera is a brute at 35.

30-27 rivera... he threw some bombs. soto was rocked early in that 3rd, but he survived. fun fight.

29-28 eduardo... curran responded well after the eye poke, he started taking it to him... even though eduardo did buckle him a couple times with more leg kicks.

quick work by dos anjos. awesome head kick, then the rear naked. awesome way to lock the arm down for the second, to get the choke in. nicely done.

10-9 grant, a little better standing, and after a couple nice transitions, ended up on top in his takedown attempt

20-18 grant, impressive ground work towards the end. dictated pace, control and was still the better striker.

You would think people would try to avoid that submission at all costs from him... guess not.
