Q:Ever since watching WrestleMania 28 i've hoped you would make a bald undertaker. Do you have any plans to?
A:Indeed. We started working on it way before WrestleMania (because we read the internet) so we'll even have it out this year! Look to Toys R Us towards the end of the year.
Q:Just wondering why you guys don't just bite the bullet,close your eyes on sales just this once and release a 2 pk of reks and hawkins?collectors will buy them ,maybe not little kids,but oh well lol.and is there still going to be an elite diva released with a better looking diva figure belt.beth?
A:The interesting thing we've realized is that when you put two lower-level guys into a 2-pack it makes the two-pack sell especially poorly. That's why Trent Barretta is appearing in a 2-pack with Mark Henry, who is a much more reliably-selling figure. We'd love to get Reks and Hawkins in the line, but if and when it happens they will not be paired together. They'd either be in 2-packs paired with stronger guys or as singles on their own.
As for the Elite Diva, yes! Mum's the word on who it is though.
Q:i know you can't be specific.just wanted to know if there is a chance we will ever see an updated tyson kidd,yoshi tatsu and jtg.and i know you guys are under the impression that guys in suits will not sell well,so why don't you include them in battle packs?alberto and ricardo or tensai and sakamoto.and you could do mixed gender packs like beth and santino from before,now aj and d bryan or aksana/antonio.any chance?
A:Some of the stuff you mention is in our plans.
Q:will you also put that exclusive Undertaker back up?
A:Unfortunately not.
Q:Will we ever see the WrestleMania V (5) version of the Ultimate Warrior?
A:Definitely a possibility!
Q:Why was the decision made to include arm tattoos on the upcoming Brodus Clay rumbler but not on other heavily tat'ed guys in the line like Undertaker or a guy like the new "GTS" pose CM Punk whom is in the same set as Brodus?
A:Kind of. It's up to our designers how to transform the look of a superstar into the Rumblers world and in the case of Brodus Clay they thought those tattoos looked good in Rumblers-scale. Undertaker and Punk's tattoos looked too busy and jumbled on their figures, which is why they don't have them. But it's an art, not a science...
MY TAKE
Only thing I got from this is (IMO) Buzz-hawk Taker will be the Special Elite for the TRU WM28 Build-a-Fig. They mentioned it would be come out by the end of the year. The "special" elite is supposedly going to be featured in the Big Toy Book which normally comes out....I think on Black Friday.
What else....me thinks a Daniel Bryan/AJ battle pack is jotted down on there Mattel Design notepads. I think they referenced the fact we're about to get a new facepainted Yoshi and I wouldn't mind (or be surprised) if we started getting more Tyson Kidds.
And maybe the Flashback Ultimate Warrior they've mentioned in Q+A's we're supposed to get will be the WM 5 attire??
