Pro Wrestling GENESIS: Velocity Wilmington, North Carolina 27/06/12

Velocity started on the inside of Tyger's locker room, who seemed to be preparing for his match by putting himself his wrist tape. Suddenly, someone entered, who was revealed as Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn: “Hey, Justin.”

Justin Tyger: “Woah, Kaitlyn, uh... Hi!”

Kaitlyn: “Hey, well, I wanted to come here to wish you luck on your match tonight.”

Justin Tyger: “Hey, thanks. This is one of the biggest nights on my career.”

Kaitlyn: “I can imagine, but I also wanted to know what are you doing after the show?”

Tyger would smile but they were interrupted by none other than Tyger's friends: Matthew Anderson, Mike Bockwinkel and Elliot Marriott.

Matthew Anderson: “Hey, hey, hey! Looks who's here!”

Eliiot Marriott: “I told you we were interrupting something, Matt.”

Matthew Anderson: “Interrupting? We didn't interrupt, right?”

Kaitlyn: “Oh... uh... no. I was just about to leave.”

Matthew Anderson: “See? Ha ha, friends never interrupt each other.”

Kaitlyn smiled as she was seen leaving the locker room.

Justin Tyger: “Wait! Kaitlyn!”

Tyger, Marriott, and Bockwinkel stared at Anderson, who seemed surprised by their look.

Matthew Anderson: “What?”

All four of them stayed on the locker room as Velocity's intro and official theme song started playing.

Pyro exploded with the fans going nuts. We were then taken to the announcer's table, where we, as always, were given an introduction to this show.

Joey Styles: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this edition of Pro Wrestling GENESIS' Velocity! We are live in Wilmington, North Carolina, in what promises to be the best Velocity show to date!”

Jim Ross: “Couldn't agree more with you, Joey. Not only we will see the first GEN Tag Team champions crowned, but we will also see the tournament finals for the World Heavyweight Championship. There must be a winner, as Chris Danielson promised that tonight there would be a man walking out as the World Heavyweight Champion.”

Joey Styles: “Wonder who will it be? On one corner, we've got 'Soufire' Justin Tyger, a very well-known wrestler not only on GEN, but also in the World. He will be facing non other than Bobby Lashley, a man that has proven to be the most dominant force on GEN.”

Jim Ross: “Let me tell you, I, for one, support Tyger on this one.”

A promo package is then shown promoting the main event. It starts with Justin Tyger's arrival to GEN, highlights of his matches with Chavo Guerrero, Rhyno, and Jeff Hardy. The cameras were then on streets as a fan wearing a Justin Tyger t-shirt was seen pointing to his own shirt, saying Tyger will become the World Champion. A woman was then shown which said the following: “Tyger is going to win because he deserves it. He has gone through a lot, it is his time now. He will prove everyone he is the Best in the World!”. The video then showed Lashley's arrival to GEN, highlights of his matches with Jimmy Uso, Matt Morgan, and Drew McIntyre. The cameras were on streets again, as a man had to say this: “There is none better than Lashley now. I mean, look at him. Fans love him, he has proved his the most dominant superstar on GEN. He will, indeed, become the first World Heavyweight Champion”. A final clip of them looking at each other, Tyger on stage and Lashley on the top turnbuckle is seen as the promo package ends.

Back from the commercial break we were situated backstage, where Kaitlyn was ready to interview The Usos.

Kaitlyn: “Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I am standing right here next to Jimmy and Jey Uso. Jimmy, Jey, this is the first time both of you compete in a ladder match. Do you feel this will play a big role on the match's outcome?”

Jimmy Uso: “Of course not! We've got wrestling in our blood, we've got domination on our blood. There may be a lot of obstacles, but nothing will stop us from becoming the first tag team champions of this company.”

Jey Uso: “My brotha is right. There's no team capable of defeating us. It's only a matter of time until we get those sweet titles on our waists. The Usos will finally show everyone that we were born for only one purpose...”

Jimmy and Jey Uso: “DOMINATE!”

Back in the ring, a shot of the tag team championships hanging was shown. The bell rang as the arena had the lights slowly going off. We then listened some drums until the titantron revealed The Usos.

Justin Roberts: “This bout is for the World Tag Team Championships and it is a triple threat ladder tag team match! Introducing first. From San Francisco, California. In a combined weight of 479 pounds: Jimmy and Jey; The Uuusooooos!”

“So Close Now” played with the Usos dancing and shouting. They made their way to the ring receiving a couple of boos from the fans. They went inside the ring and stared at the titles.

Justin Roberts: “Their opponents. From Detroit, Michigan. In a combined weight of 420 pounds: Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin; The Motor City Maaaaachiiiiine Guuuuuuns!”

“Motorcity” would be the next theme playing. The boos went louder as Sabin and Shelley came out to stage. With a determined expression, both sprinted inside the ring and went to the top turnbuckles and posed.

Justin Roberts: “And their opponents. In a combined weight of 425 pounds: Chavo Guerrero and Super Crazy; La Raaaazaaaaaa!”

“We Lie, We Cheat, We Steal” would be the last theme playing. The boos immediately turned into cheers. Guerrero and Crazy went to stage and posed as they sprinted to the ring. A brawl quickly started and the referee ordered to ring the bell.

The brawl kept on going with Chris Sabin going outside for a ladder. Super Crazy was brawling with Alex Shelley. Sabin came to Shelley's aid and attacked Crazy with the ladder. Chavo would then dropkick Sabin, making him hurt himself with the ladder. Chavo grabbed the ladder and attacked Shelley with it. Both Usos went out to grab a ladder each. They went back to the ring and the two of them attacked Chavo. With the ring cleared, Jimmy Uso would set up the ladder and make the first attempt to get the titles. The Machine Guns got up and went to attack Jey Uso, and proceeded onto stopping Jimmy from getting the titles. Guerrero went out of the ring and would set up a table on the outside, in front of the ramp, near the ropes. Crazy then tried to attacked Sabin, who was trying to get the titles. Crazy was pulling Sabin's leg, which ended up making him fall down, but he fell on his feet and started exchanging strikes with Crazy. Shelley attacked Chavo with a suicide dive, almost hurting himself with the table, but they fell next to it. The Usos both tried to attack Sabin and Crazy, but Sabin and Crazy made a brief alliance to take both of them out, ending with Sabin kicking Crazy, what a low blow! Sabin started climbing the ladder, only for Jey and Jimmy, who just got back into the match to powerbomb him! Jimmy was up, trying to reach the title, until Shelley climbed to the top turnbuckle and dropkicked the ladder, making Jimmy fall! Jey rushed and attacked Shelley. Chavo ran into the ring and climbed the ladder and was touching the title with his fingers, only to feel the ladder moving. Jey was throwing the ladder down... Chavo went out of the ring and landed on the table and broke it! Sabin from behind attacked Jey with a steel chair! Shelley sets the ladder up. Sabin gave the chair to Shelley, who was making sure no one got near. Sabin got up and grabbed the titles, give the Motor City Machine Guns the win!

Justin Roberts: “Here are your winners, and the neeeeeeeeeeww Worrrrrld Tag Team Chaaampiooons: Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin; The Motor City Maaaaachiiiiine Guuuuuuns!”

“Motorcity” would play for a second time as Sabin handed Shelley his title. Both of the Machine Guns went to the top turnbuckles and started celebrating. We saw highlights of the match and then the rest of the competitors, all lying on the mat and floor. Shelley and Sabin climbed a ladder each and raised their newly won titles.

The cameras went backstage with Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn: “Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I am standing right here next to "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan. Matt, you faced Bobby Lashley on the tournament's second phase. What are you thoughts on his match tonight? Who do you think will end up victorious?”

Matt Morgan: “I faced Bobby Lashley, and let me tell you, I am going to face him again. Bobby Lashley is a tough boy, but by no means better than me. He has had a ton of luck, and he better have it tonight, because he MUST walk out the World Heavyweight Champion. Kaitlyn, what you and these bastards all saw on past weeks was just 'The Blueprint' testing Lashley's strength, but when he wins, I will be the first #1 contender. Our battle started, but I will be the one that wins this war.”

We were then taken to Bobby Lashley's locker room, who seems to be preparing for his match too. Suddenly, Matthew Anderson, who seems to be drunk, walks in.

Matthew Anderson: “Hey, Roberto! Stop this sh*t already, ya know, you are losing to my buddy tonight! His head won't be ripped dude, leave already or stay and cry with yo momma.”

Security enters Lashley's locker room and take Anderson out. Elliot Marriott and Mike Bockwinkel both have facepalms as they're taking Anderson out.

Matthew Anderson: “Hey, both of you, help me! What are you waiting for?! These tools want to kidnap me!”

Chris Danielson then arrived.

Matthew Anderson: “Merc! Hey Merc, I'm glad you're here, tell them to release me!”

Security asked Danielson if he knows Anderson. Danielson grinned.

Chris Danielson: “Guys, I don't know him...”

Matthew Anderson: “NO! You traitor!”

Kaitlyn: “Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I am standing right here next to Chavo Guerrero. Chavo, you faced Justin Tyger on the tournament's first phase. What are you thoughts on his match tonight? Who do you think will end up victorious?”

Chavo Guerrero: “I've known Tyger for quite some time. Having to face each other so soon not only surprised the fans, but us too. Tyger's a hard working man. He has done everything on his hands to make the fans happy. He deserves every ounce of respect he gets. Hell, dare I say he deserves more credit than he actually gets. A great wrestler, great promoter, great man. Tyger is just awesome, plain and simple. Now Lashley has showed that not only is he strong, but agile and intelligent too, but this time, I think he will be facing off possible the only man that can defeat him, and that's Justin Tyger.”

Joey Styles: “Ladies and gentlemen time has come... In a matter of minutes, a new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned.”

“Me & You” played over the PA System. The fans cheered as Danielson made his way to the ring. Wearing a black suit, Danielson entered the ring and whispered some words to ring announcer Justin Roberts. Danielson had a nervous look on his face. He then took a sit next to the time keeper. Danielson grabbed the belt on would rest it on his legs.

Justin Roberts: “Ladies and gentlemen... This bout is set for one fall!”

The fans would cheer Tyger's and Lashley's name.

Justin Roberts: “Introducing first. From Possum Town, Tennessee. Weighing in at 243 pounds: ‘Soooulfire’ Justin Tyyyyygeeeeeerrrrr!”

“Burst Limit” blared through the arena as the fans exploded in cheers. Tyger stood in the stage. He then walked to the ramp and stood next to a kid holding a positive sign towards him. He smiled and pointed at it. "Future US President right here!". Tyger approached his friends Elliot, Mike, and the returning Matthew, who were sitting on front row. He then sprinted to the ring and waited for his opponent.

Justin Roberts: “And his opponent...”

After a brief time, the fans started chanting Lashley's name.

Justin Roberts: “His opponent. From Colorado Springs, Colorado. Weighing in at 275 pounds: Bobbyyyy Laaashleeeeeeyy!”

“Hell Will Be Callin' Your Name” blasted over the PA System. Fans went crazy as soon as Lashley's theme started playing. Cheers went louder as he stood on stage and the pyro exploded with Lashley posing. Lashley wasted no time on walking to the front of the ring. He shook hands with some fans and would then look at Tyger from the outside. He jumped onto the ring apron with pyro exploding from each of the turnbuckles. Lashley went to the top turnbuckle and posed.

Lashley's theme stopped playing as Tyger and him stared at each other. Both smiled as half of the fans chanted "Let's go Tyger!". The other half would chant "Let's go Lashley!". Both smiles grew bigger. Tyger raised his arms, getting a big pop. Lashley then extended his, getting a pop as big as Tyger's. Both tried to force the other onto the turnbuckle, with Lashley winning and pushing Tyger. Tyger got near Lashley again, who headlocked Tyger. Tyger pushed Lashley towards the ropes, but Lashley hit a take down on Tyger. Lashley waited for Tyger to get up. Tyger got near again, this time, striking Lashley until he reached the turnbuckle and the referee made him stop. Tyger went to the other turnbuckle and ran towards Lashley, attempting a splash on Lashley, but Lashley moved out of the way. Tyger turned around and received a clothesline from him. Lashley was preparing for the Spear. Tyger got up and quickly moved out of the way and wen with a backdrop suplex. Tyger covered Lashley, getting a two count. He would pull Lashley up and use a combination of knee strikes. Tyger then would go for a tiger suplex. Tyger went to the top turnbuckle, but Lashley rolled out of the ring. Tyger quickly went down and went for a suicide dive, but Lashley moved out of the way! Tyger ended up hurting himself with the barricade. Lashley pulled Tyger inside the ring. Lashley went with an overhead belly to belly suplex. He got Tyger up again and made him run towards the ropes to receive him with a Spinebuster! Lashley covered Tyger but got only a two count. Lashley grabbed Tyger, trying to go with the Dominator, but Tyger got out of it and striked Lashley on the back before hitting a German Suplex. Tyger waited for Lashley to get up and attacked with a series of clotheslines. Lashley moved out of the last one and was going for a military press drop, but Tyger again countered, kicked Lashley in the mid-section and used the Northen Lights Bomb! Tyger would cover Lashley but he was able to kick out! Tyger couldn't believe it. Tyger waited for Lashley to get up. He approached him, but Lashley pushed him and went for a Spear, but Tyger moved out of the way yet again and went with a roll-up with gave him the three count!

Justin Roberts: “There winner of this match: ‘Soooulfire’ Justin Tyyyyygeeeeeerrrrr!”

Jim Ross: YES! Tyger's done it! Tyger is the World's Champion!

The bell rang as Lashley quickly looked at the referee surprised by what was happening. "Burst Limit" was blaring through the arena as fans in attendance were going wild. Tyger himself couldn't believe it. Lashley approached Tyger and gave him a handshake as a show of mutual respect. Lashley raised Tyger's arm and left the ring. Chris Danielson got up with the World Heavyweight Championship, and from outside of the ring, he gave it to the referee. The referee grabbed the title and Tyger took it from him. He then ran out of the ring and jumped the barricade and celebrated with his friends Elliot, Mike, and Matthew. He stood up the barricade and lifted the title before going back to the ring. Tyger stood in the middle of the ring as Chris Danielson joined him. Tyger smiled and rested the title on his shoulder. Danielson asked for a microphone. Tyger then hugged Danielson and lifted the title yet again.

Chris Danielson: “Cut the music, please.”

The music would be stopped. Tyger's smile was growing bigger.

Chris Danielson: “Tyger, first of, I'd love to congratulate you on your victory over Bobby Lashley. You've proved to be a great wrestler. Everyone that didn't have faith in you has been proved wrong, but Tyger, you are not the World Heavyweight Champion.”

Everyone in the crowd seemed confused, except Tyger, who denied what Danielson just said, thinking it was a joke.

Chris Danielson: “See, it's been a tough time. Tough weeks for GEN, and I didn't lie... While Tyger is not the champion, we are going to crown a champion tonight. The fact is, this match wasn't for the World Heavyweight Championship. This match was to determine who was going to face this man for the World Heavyweight Championship.”

Danielson pointed to the stage, while his face went down and his microphone fell to the mat. Tyger was smiling as he still didn't believe Danielson. Danielson was leaving the area...

"Realeza" started playing as Tyger's smile disappeared. Right from the crowd, Ricardo Rodriguez grabbed a chair and went inside the ring. Alberto Del Rio came out and met Danielson, who was still looking down. Del Rio touched Danielson's shoulder and smiled while Danielson was leaving. Inside the ring, Rodriguez attacked Tyger with a steel chair. Del Rio ran as quick as he could to the ring. Del Rio grabbed Tyger as Rodriguez kept on hitting him with the steel chair. After numerous chair shots, Del Rio left him lying on the mat and shouted for the bell to be ringed. Del Rio covered and got the three count.

Ricardo Rodriguez: “Su ganador y nuevo campeon peso completo: ‘El patron!’, ‘El mero mero!’ ALBERTOOOOOOO DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL RRRIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOO!”

"Realeza" blared through the PA System as the referee gave Del Rio his newly won World Heavyweight Championship. Del Rio was celebrating, as the fans were absolutely shocked. Velocity would then go off the air.
