Ok, just like everyone else, Cena, Randy, and Rey are swamping all of the stores in my region. Especially Toys R Us! So I came up with an Idea for Mattel to move these products.
Why don't you sponsor autograph sessions? A pub in my area sponsored Sheamus to come out and he drew 250 people with barley any advertising. If you guys sponsor people like Cena and the other overly produced figures to do sessions at Toys R Us's, Walmarts, and Targets. I see big money signs for eeeeeverybody!!! I mean if each kid buys a Cena to get signed...BAM! He's all over all the world all the time. Just have him do it in each city they visit.
What do you guys think?

Yes, this would be nice but we are living in the real world where Mattel doesn't care they over produce Cena. They already said they will adjust production numbers for future waves but when Christmas comes this year, all the pegs will be cleared of Cena either way.

In the future, we'll have to trade in old figures to be melt down in order to make new figures because plastic will cost so much.

The four full pegs of BO11 (all Cena, Rey, Orton) that have been at my local TRU since November of last year would disagree with that comment.

Hide them in between the shelves or behind other products that don't move as fast like the $100 Lego sets. Then they will shelf other WWE figs they have in the back the next day, which is when you come in again.

Or just carry them around the store and just throw them away in the trash cans...where they belong..especially that god awful survivor series Cena.

My TRU received cases of BO2011 after Feb this year so it will be cleared out by the end of this year, lol.

The figures are in the computer individually, and if the figures don't sell out of the computer, then they are considered still on the shelves. Until the stock is sold from the computer then they won't restock the pegs.

My TRU has a thousand unsold John Cenas from the following series
Survivor Series Heritage Extreme Rules Wrestlemania XXVII Best of 2011 Best of PPV Build a Set Signature Series BP 13 BP 15
One of the reasons they have that many is because of an autograph signing Cena had there back in March. Unless they get put on clearance for 90 cents, they will never move.

It would slowly remove each Cena in stock, like a fraction at a time.

They See Me Rollins - I went to TRU (Cary) a little while ago, and said to myself "Why the hell am I even in here?" lol. It feels like the same sh*t has been sitting there forever.

I think they should make John Cena purchase all the unsold John Cena figures. It would only be fair.

one problem. from what I know with most wwe signings at toys r us is that toys r us will specifically order cases of just the superstar who is signing. So most likely if cena did signings at a toys r us they would end up ordering more in hopes that people buy multiples to get autographed. I remember christian and natalya did a toys r us signing one time and they took all the wwe figures and put them in the back and filled the WWE section with nothing but christian and natalya figures. they had cases and cases of them. and guess what, most people brought their own items they wanted signed so hardly any of them sold at all.

I want t get my hands on Hunico. Taken out of context that statement could cause you to end up with a restraining order or one hell of an awkward story. just saying

one per case them so there'll be more new figures on the shelf The thing with that is who to then make two or three per case. The only wrestlers popular enough for that are the ones who're already overproduced, and CM Punk. I expect by Christmas they'll be overloaded with him, too. And they're not going to start overproducing the jobbers and midcarders because in the long run, three Cenas or Reys per case every wave are going to sell. Three Trent Barettas or Tyson Kidds per case every wave are not.
