Triple H has announced a reboot of WWE's 'C' brand WWE NXT, this is said to be a project completely headed by WWE's COO with no input from Vince McMahon. The reboot will be completely filmed on campus at Full Sail University to be aired on the USA Network in the newly acquired hour before WWE's flagship show Monday Night Raw Supershow. WWE NXT is no longer a competition to get up and coming wrestlers on the main roster, it is now a standalone brand and is expected to have its own NXT Championship with the possibility of having some slots on Pay-Per-View cards depending on the new NXT's success. It is also rumoured that the USA Network is interested in extending WWE NXT into a two-hour show if the ratings are a high enough success.

Wednesday 23rd May, 2012: WWE NXT at Full Sail
The pyros go off for the première of the newly rebooted WWE NXT at Full Sail. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross and his commentary partner WWE Legend William Regal come out together. They both talk about how this is going to usher in a new era in the WWE, Regal then introduces the new General Manager of NXT, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes! Rhodes says that this is a new era for the WWE and thanks people like CM Punk and Daniel Bryan for paving the way for these young superstars to be in the WWE today. He says that as NXT is a brand now we need an NXT Championship and he's been told by Richie Steamboat, NXT's representative to the WWE Board of Directors, that NXT has been given the opportunity to have one match at the No Way Out Pay-Per-View. He says that NXT's match at No Way Out will be to crown an inaugural NXT Championship. He says that over the next four weeks 16 men will compete in a tournament for the chance to take each other on mono-e-mono at No Way Out. He then tells the crowd to get ready as next up we're going to see Antonio Cesaro vs. Dante Dash in a first round match-up.
Antonio Cesaro w/Aksana def. Dante Dash with a Very European Uppercut after a distraction from Aksana The sixteen men in the tournament are revealed with this graphic. It also reveals the only two men on the roster who won't be competiting in the NXT Championship tournament and they are Michael McGillicutty and Tyson Kidd. We are then informed by Jim Ross and William Regal that the pair wanted to sacrifice their NXT Championship shots to have a match with each other; so, tonight, they will face off in the main event in a fifteen minute time limit match. Ricky Steamboat then comes out to a massive pop. He tells the crowd how he's very pleased with his new role of NXT's representative to the WWE Board of Directors. But he's especially pleased that his son Richie Steamboat is able to be a part of the newly rebooted NXT. Richie Steamboat then comes out to a decent pop for a debuting superstar. Richie takes the mic from his father and thanks the crowd for their support, he says he's going to do everything to impress them and become as good as his father, he says he's a legend in the making. He says he's going to show them what he can do in the ring next week when he takes on Jiro in a first round match-up. The pair embrace before leaving the ring to head backstage. Seth Rollins def. Dean Ambrose via Countout when Ambrose left the ring immediately and broke down outside it Ambrose gets up and grabs a mic. He says he doesn't need material possessions like the NXT Championship to know he's the best. He says he doesn't need wins to know he's the best. He says the only thing he needs to know he's the best is the warm feeling of acceptance inside when he beats the hell out of someone. Out of nowhere Ambrose strikes a fan round the head with his microphone and drags him into the ring. Ambrose continues to beat him in the head with the microphone until the fan's face and clothes are covered in blood. Dusty Rhodes comes out and tells Ambrose to stop this madness. Rhodes tells Ambrose that he's obviously emotionally unstable so he's going to have to suspend him indefinitely. However, Ambrose doesn't look too unhappy as he tilts his head left and right whilst manically laughing as NXT fades backstage. Tyson Kidd is shown backstage warming up for his huge grudge match with his long-time rival Michael McGillicutty. Josh Mathews interviews Tyson Kidd and Kidd says he's got a point to prove as he's sacrificed a shot at the NXT Championship for this match. Kidd says he's going to show everyone why he's the last graduate from the infamous Hart dungeon when he locks Michael McGillicutty in the Dungeon Lock and makes him tap out. NXT then goes to a taped promo from a man named Bray Wyatt, Wyatt has his bodyguard Eli Cottonwood behind him. Wyatt says that he's no white trash and he's going to take NXT by storm. He says he has no limits, he then inadvertently says that his father died when their house set on fire, as he says this he laughs to himself and lights matches before throwing them around himself and creating a ring of fire. Wyatt then claims that time is on his side and smugly smiles at the camera. Jim Ross and William Regal then reveal that Bryatt will make his in-ring debut next week against CJ Parker. Tyson Kidd and Michael McGillicutty go to a time limit draw After that incredible match the two competitors looked disappointed it ended as they clearly wanted a legitimate outcome. The crowd continue to chant for 'five more minutes' and 'we want more' NXT, however, ends as Kidd and McGillicutty mouth at each other that 'this isn't over'. Jim Ross and William Regal then tell the audience to tune in next week as NXT can only get better from here.

A solid introduction to the re-branded NXT from Full Sail University. The 16-men tournament sounds nice, especially with the Finals being presented at No Way Out. Looking over the brackets, I'm expecting to see either Cesaro/Ohno, Cesaro/Ambrose, or Cesaro/Rollins as the match to crown the inaugural champion. Ambrose getting himself counted out is odd, though it fits his character. Um, that's a pretty grueling scene with Ambrose beating the fan. I'd imagine that his suspension will lead to a feud with Dusty. A great main event with Tyson Kidd and Michael McGillicutty, two men that I expect to shine in the new NXT. The time limit draw is a fine way to end the show. A good first edition of NXT from Full Sail.

Wednesday 30th May, 2012: WWE NXT at Full Sail
The pyros go off and we're introduced to NXT by William Regal and Jim Ross they then inform the audience that we're going to kick off this episode of NXT with a match straight away, and it will be a first round tournament match-up between Richie Steamboat and Jiro.
Richie Steamboat def. Jiro with a Crossbody Richie Steamboat celebrates at ringside with the fans before his father Ricky Steamboat comes out, the pair embrace as they realise that Richie is one step closer to realising his dream of becoming the inaugural NXT Champion. We're then shown a video recap of last week on NXT where Dean Ambrose attacked a helpless fan at ringside and was subsequently indefinitely suspended by Dusty Rhodes. We're then told by Jim Ross and William Regal that the fan is now in a stable condition and will be all right; we then learn that Dean Ambrose's suspension will last until the Wednesday 20th June episode of NXT when he is free to make his return. There seems to be a huge commotion as NXT quickly cuts backstage. Dante Dash is unconscious on the floor surrounded by other superstars and EMTs. Over the top of the worried screams from EMTs you can hear a strong southern voice claiming that time is on his side. The background is also completely dark besides the flickering of a flame coming from a lighter. Mike Dalton def. Andre Tyson with an Implant DDT After the participants have left ringside Michael McGillicutty comes out to ringside with a microphone in hand. He talks about his match with Tyson Kidd last week and says that he is proud of the performance he put in last week but is also extremely annoyed that he couldn't get the job done and pin Kidd 1-2-3. He says he knows Kidd isn't here tonight but he is officially laying down the challenge of a fifteen minute Ironman match on the NXT after No Way Out in McGillicutty's home state of Minnesota. Dusty Rhodes comes out to a huge pop and talks about how proud he is of NXT's debut episode last week and how he thinks NXT can only get brighter and better from here on. He says that there is an endless pool of talent on the NXT roster and that we're going to have four fantastic tournament matches next week on NXT. We're going to see Leo Kruger vs. Aiden English, Kassius Ohno vs. Eli Cottonwood, Mike Dalton vs. Seth Rollins and the main event will pit Richie Steamboat vs. Antonio Cesaro. Damien Sandow def. Bo Dallas with a Straight Jacket Neckbreaker A video recaps some of tonight's action so far with this graphic showing how the NXT Championship tournament is shaping up so far. Antonio Cesaro is backstage with his girlfriend Aksana and she is rubbing oil over his body as he prepares for a photoshoot for the WWE website. As this is happening Kassius Ohno walks past and laughs at the European superstar, obviously not impressed with what he's doing. Jim Ross and William Regal then hype up that Kassius Ohno will make his NXT in-ring debut next week on NXT against Eli Cottonwood. Bray Wyatt w/Eli Cottonwood def. CJ Parker with The Rapture Bray Wyatt takes a microphone after the match and claims that time is on his side before viciously dropping it to the floor. Eli Cottonwood stands motionless behind him as NXT draws to a close.

theNXTbestWWErumours.net reported by steve geraldson- WWE officials are apparently extremely high on how NXT is coming off since its reboot. Backstage staff apparently find it a lot more relaxing without Vince McMahon backstage and Triple H's running of things is seen to be much more smoother than Vince McMahon's.
- NXT's debut episode received a 2.4 network rating which is a very good rating considering the previous NXT and the fact it airs an hour before Monday Night Raw SuperShow. The second episode only fell to 2.2 which is a good sign as far as ratings are concerned. It can be deduced that people obviously tuned in out of curiosity to the first episode and that they've managed to maintain a fair amount of viewers in the second episode is a good sign.
- Triple H continues to scour FCW talents and is apparently looking at bringing up Corey Graves, Xavier Woods and Alexander Rusev.
- WWE officials are apparently extremely high on Dean Ambrose's character. Because they also have high hops for NXT they want him to remain on NXT for as long as possible and are willing to send over some big superstars to feud with him. Possible feuds discussed for Ambrose include him vs. Mick Foley, Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes or Randy Orton.
