I  ING HATE SPAIN! Hope they get thrashed by Germany. Germany should be quite comfatable tonight against Italy, though you never know. |

So dissapointed by the results of the semis. Spain are boring and I'd hate them to win. I don't mind Italy but if they win it goes 2006 WC Italy, 2008 Euros Spain, 2010 WC Spain, 2012 Euros Italy, which is a bit dull for my liking.

I've Italian blood so I'm delighted they've made it this far. Very fond of Spain too so I hope the best team wins on the night.

Ugh... huge letdown. BBC have clearly been told to argue against the "Spain are boring" theory, the amount of bumlicking going on at half time was beyond belief. Took them 10 minutes to mention Italy. Spain may be one of the best ever international teams, but they are one of the most hated by neutrals.
Bet we get "TORRES IS BACK" sh*t now.

For a match with 4 goals in it, that was boring. Though to be fair to Spain this is the only final they have won by outplaying the opposition and not relying on luck as in 2008 and 2010.
I really do think Spain are an overrated team.

As long as Spain actually do something with the ball I like them. I don't like it when they get up to the 18 yard line and then just play it back to their defence again. I think some of Italy's tactics are worse to watch as they do nothing for a while then just hoof it over the top to Balotelli when they get the ball.
Seems strange to see Torres winning the golden boot even though he hardly played in the tournament.

Was hoping both Portugal and Germany would get through so a Spain/ Italy final wasn't what I wanted. But was good to see Spain thrash Italy. The game was over when the player went off injured. I called that might happen plus I said to my mates while watching it Torres and Mata would score. Would like to see Spain vs. Brazil or another good non-European team to see how they match up. I was really hoping Ballotelli would kick off after the whistle, he nearly did but he was crying later.

Italy were poor, and Spain were on another level. The fact they start with 6 midfielders and brought a Striker on as a defensive change, just shows how they are re-inventing football. They carved Italy apart at times. Balotelli and Cassano had to constantly drop wide instead of staying central and working the channels, and Pirlo had no options ahead of him when going forward. The early goal did Italy no favours either, but on the night Spain were awesome.  |

Is it just me, or do you look a bit like a lifeguard there? Maybe its just the colourscheme and the tag on your neck looking like a whistle.
