This is effed, so angry, how on earth was that a two yellows to Sokratis !? And how was that not a penalty!!!!!!!! Ref hates Greece or is paid by Poland surely this isn't normal.

Gutted Greece came back to draw, well done though after that silly sending off. I had Poland down as my darkhorses of the competition. I thought with a good GK and striker they could do well, then Szczesny does that.

The Greece red card was fully justified imo, they played with a high back line and arguably if the Poland player had shrugged off the defender and got past him then he'd of been 1 on 1 with the Keeper. I'm always a supporter of giving red cards for preventing a goal scoring opportunity. Was a great game though, in which Poland really should of taken advantage.

I expect Holland to bounce straight back. Sniedjer was Top Class today. In all honesty, I don't think they will  Although the Dutch (individual) skills were (and are) better then the Danish ones, and the team effort of the Dutch wasn't bad at all, our coach Bert van Marwijk should have started with Huntelaar and not with Van Persie. For some reason Van Persie does not seem to be the striker in the Dutch team as he is when playing for Arsenal. The World Championships two years ago is a good example of it....Van Persie wasn't that good at all! I also think that Robben and Affelay were playing way too selfish again (actually trying to avoid saying the words "as usual"), trying to outplay as many Danish players as possible and then taking the shot at the goal themselves. |

I think that is our tournament over, we really needed the 3 points against Denmark, I can't see us getting anything from Germany or Portugal. That klootzak of a referee has cost us, how can you miss 4 handballs, the 2 most blatant happening inside the penalty area, also that ball that came off the defenders foot which the keeper picked up, that was a free kick inside the penalty area. I hope the referee gets dropped from the tournament or shot. |

Thought Holland Vs Denmark was a good game. The Danish back 4 were fantastic but Holland were also very wasteful. Reckon Holland need to win their next 2 but i think its possible Germany didn't look great tonight.
Germany Vs Portugal on the other hand was terrible. Only exciting bit was where the announcer guy warned the Germans not the throw the paper on the park or the match would be abandoned. Thankfully i recored Brasil vs Argentina as that made up for Germany vs Portugal being so poor.
