I'm a big fan of tag teams and matching attires, but one thing that bugs me about the Elite series is how they've done the tag teams in the past, i.e. Cryme Time and the Hart Dynasty, where they've released them individually in the series and not in a pack. Granted an elite 2-pack would have a retail of $30-$40, but look at the Legends 2 packs, it can be done. So, I would LOVE to see a line of Elite tag teams plus a Flashback pack in the set. For example:
Set 1: Kofi Kingston and R-Truth (come with the belts) Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel (whatever accessory) Flashback: Legion of Doom (Legends 1 repaint in red with retro tag belts)
That would be my sensical first set, as they've produced all these guys in the past, it would just be repaints, which I'm sure Mattel could swing. Of course, tag teams are sparse in WWE right now, but it could also open doors for managers and heated rivalries, plus give us some of our favorites in different attires.
Thoughts and ideas?

yeh look at the Legends 2-packs.....they didn't sell. Neither did the All-Stars 2 packs. Except for the Austin/CM Punk

The legends 2-packs would've sold better if the lineup was more impressive. Piper's bad likeness and lack of a shirt and Shiek's trunks being wrong didn't help those sets any. They even could've left the Bushwhackers in, just needed two other more solid teams like red LOD or the Hart Foundation. I hope somewhere down the road Mattel revisits Elite 2-packs. I can think of several packs I would buy using guys they already have signed and made figures of: Red LOD, Hollywood Blondes, Mega Maniacs, Warrior vs Slaughter RR91, Warrior vs Rude SS89, Steamboat vs Savage WM III, Hitman vs HBK Survivor 97, Piper with a better likeness vs Snuka, just to name a few. I also remember them saying that the Rougeau Brothers were going to be in a future lineup if the line would've continued, hope we see them someday.

Exactly right. Legends 2 packs lacked the right lineups. It's paramount to have good likenesses and the right guys. Not saying Piper wasn't right, but yes, the likeness was awful and he didn't come with a Hot Rod shirt. Nixed that pack right from the get go. Marksman, you're right on all those packs. Any one of those would've been great. Hollywood Blondes would've been amazing, and I can't tell you how fast the HBK/Hart set would've sold out.

All Stars was kinda a dumb idea tho, a current and a legend.... This idea is much better, current fans can buy the current guys they like, legend fans can buy the flashbacks.
Im sure many people didnt dish out for all stars because they were either current only or legend only
