i hate to break this to everyone, but i dont know where anyone got the idea that 4 Horseman will sculpt WWE figs, but they're not going to. Mattel hired them to sculpt their comic based DC figs. they dont do all of their figures. the animated The Batman figs are not sculpted by 4H, neither is Barbie, or any of their other lines. so anyone getting their hopes up, thinking that 4H are making wrestling figs is in for a whole lot of disappointment.

I don't understand what everyone is all pissed off about. The majority of the people here CONSTANTLY bitched about Jakks. Can we at least wait until we the WWE Mattel figures are released before we start bitching? We still have two more years of Jakks anyway, and after that they will be making TNA figures. I guarantee you that we will see RA and DA TNA figs, maybe even BNB and all the other minor lines that they have out now. There is no way Jakks would immediately sign another wrestling promotion to start from square one with their figures. I agree with your wait and see stance on things. As far as Jakks starting at square one, that may be out of Jakks hands. Molds/Scans they created while working for WWE would most likely be property of WWE, and if Jakks attempted to use molds created for the WWE on TNA figures WWE would probably get a bit litigious (depending on what the Jakks/WWE contract is like. Jakks options are probably starting from scratch or TNA supplying them with the Toybiz molds to build off of. They may go with something close to RA/DA but it would probably have to be all new sculpts. It would be like 20th Century Fox hiring Stan Winston to create the Predator costume then Stan Winston turning around and using the Predator suit in a Universal film. The molds are property of Jakks. I don;t know where this common misconception came from, but the only thing that the WWE owns is the likenesses of their wrestlers.

Actually they did sculpt the first basic "The Batman" Batman figure. They showed their 2 up sculpt of it at Funnyrama a few years back. (an event hosted by the comic shop Cornboy and I go to) And if I remember correctly they said it was Eric Treadway who sculpted it. And they also sculpted all the 6" Batman/DCSH/DCUC (except the first Superman, Nightwing & Robin from the 2003/04 Batman line) And they also sculpted a few of the Harry Potter figures, MotU and the DCU 3" Fighting figures. And I know I said "if" Mattel let's them work on the line they'd be great figures.

IF the scaling is close than most people buying these figs will just fade out the RA style figs like we all did w/ the TTL figs, or at least that is what I did. I jsut hope they put out more series a year than they did w/ the TNA line. They had what, like 3 singles series and 2 double packs a year. I mean, I want quality, but not if I have to wait forever to get a single fig. Take it, the pace Jakks is doing now is killing me finacially so maybe a toning down in product might help some. I just hope they don't look like cartoons myself and I hope they don't put Cena/Batista/Rey/etc. in every series like Jakks is beginning to do. Mattel never made the TNA figures. That was Marvel Toys/Toybiz. Not sure why so many people here keep confusing those two companies.

Look my concern is realism, I don't need cartoony figures. I am hoping that mattel will concentrate on accuracy.

cause they both look the same which is bad quality and cartoony look or exaggerated look, plus thier articualtion is similar. In other words both arent too concerned with quality but detail jakss was quality over detail which i prefer...or got used to....
