jakks/mattel comparison pics; not that big of a difference. the hero figures(batman, superman) are smaller but it just shows that mattel can make quality figures and if the scale is on, may blend into our collections nicely.

looks good man, not even sure what the uproar is about. everyone used to cry about how much jakks sucks and how lazy they are. i thought this is what everyone wanted?

I hate the articulation above the knee of the Mattel fig.

Thanks for the pics, that just goes to show that as long as the scale is the same then they will continue nicely even if they change the POA and design. That figure isn't even human but if you swapped the head and hands it would be perfect to display with Jakks WWE figures. Mattell taking over could be the best thing ever as long as the scale is the same.

even divas and managers might turn out good just trying to be optimistic here. i love my collection and don't want a big change, but we may end up getting better, more detailed figures.

People are probably more worried about them turning out like the JLU line.
While it's a cool line in itself, the figure's have only 5 POA usually & often can't stand.
If they are created like the DCSH line pictured above....we could be in for some really good figures.

That'll be the torso they use for Batista, too.

The scale looks very close to the figs Jakks made. Mattel does put more deatil into their figures. I think I am starting to have second thoughts about them making WWE figs.

Not bad. I'll be interested to see how they will make the wrestling figures.

I don't understand what everyone is all pissed off about. The majority of the people here CONSTANTLY bitched about Jakks. Can we at least wait until we the WWE Mattel figures are released before we start bitching?
We still have two more years of Jakks anyway, and after that they will be making TNA figures. I guarantee you that we will see RA and DA TNA figs, maybe even BNB and all the other minor lines that they have out now. There is no way Jakks would immediately sign another wrestling promotion to start from square one with their figures.

That Diva fig gives great hope. As for the beast thing, its quite good too although the width of the legs and torso as well as the leg spreading is a minus. But since WWE will be humans, I think there is some great potential.

Look my concern is realism, I don't need cartoony figures. I am hoping that mattel will concentrate on accuracy.

I'm just curious as to what the packaging will look like.

that's only one example style though, mattel also made the batman begins figures. possibly some of the worst figures I've ever seen.
the main issues are keeping the 7" RA scale, realscan heads, and making a CS line

As said before, my doubt lie not in what Mattel can do, but what they will do. They have too many higher-profile licenses and brands to give the WWE line the same attention Jakks did.

Kinda like Jakks did... you know, because that's what any good business would do? There are more kids than there are collectors. Yes, they did learn our way as much as they could, but at the end of the day it isn't us buying the majority of their product.
