Does the Pic Fed Board need/want a New Mod?

StingerSplash had this board running great while he was mod so I see no reason why he shouldn't be given the spot back!

I wasn't removed, but rather stepped down. I was at a point in my life where I was just so busy and stressed on such a regular basis, and I didn't think that I could do the job as good as it needed to be done.

If you guys want me put back in the Mod position, then I would be more than willing to take the job again.

No offence but this EXACT same thread was put up when Stingersplash was Mod, and thats why we got micro. I think Stinger is a good guy but he was an absentee mod as well, no offence at all to him as I understood he had basketball? or some other type of extracuricular activity which took up his time.

If we need a new mod there is only one individual who has EVERYONES respect here and has stuck with this board through all its up and downs and thats Izzy, end of story. So heres my vote for Izzy as new mod, no offence to Micro but he hasnt really done anything to keep this board going and/or get people involved. Letting guys who dont pic fed run monthly pay per views and such should be the mods responsibilty, not something to hand off to other inexperienced people. Izzy for mod!

I pic fed more than monthly! I produce about 3 shows a month for my youtube subscribers
and i can assure you that there is more than one way to fed! Some of the best pic feds
Cena0024, and Highflyer329 are youtube feds and they are as good as people on here!
So dont say that i dont do monthly fed's as it is a bit of an insult
for the amouunt of work i put in!
I am not saying i should have done the PPV but to call me inexpierienced is unfair

I left because of the inactivity once the chat thread was knocked out we had nothing to update that people payed attention to and we used that thread for our advertising if you think about it. I think Izzy would be awesome and if he is made mod and makes the board more populated then I would be hyped. With A double coming out I want to return with some new stuff in the meantime we need a loyal member who actually posts commonly on just about everything meaning Izzy would be my #1 choice

Wow, so much activity, it's exciting!!! Wanna add my own two cents here...

#1: I think it's best if first we decide if we want a new Mod or not, then we can either vote for whoever gets postulated or postulates him or herself, or however it goes...

#2: Micro is a great guy and a great fedder, but I think we just need some change in the board, and like it or not, Micro has been gone from here for quite some time...

#3: I like Stinger, I think he was a cool Mod and he would be fair and would not let stuff get out of hand and right now he seems to have both the attitude and the motivation for the job...

#4: Thank you all SO MUCH for postulating me, I'm really, really flattered and it';s nice to know I'm regarded not just as a decent fedder, but as somebody that contributes to the board in general... however... I have no desire to be a Mod and I really would feel super uncomfortable in that position, which is why, one way or another, I respect anyone who takes on the role. Thanks again, but you won't be seeing me as a Mod anytime soon (you will see me fedding and replying of course)...

To number four, you shouldn't be surprised dude. You are a truly awesome fedder, and I think everyone here considers you synonymous with the Pic Fed Board now. I don't think you give yourself enough credit!

And like I've said, I don't care who the new mod is. I just think, like Izzy, that we need some change around here. We need to inject some life into this place! No matter who we think the Mod should be, I know we all agree that we've got to turn this place around. I'm not trying to take back the spot from Micro, heck, Izzy was the one who told me he wanted a change and wanted me to take it back. If the rest of you guys want me, hey, I'll take the job and do my best. But, if it's someone else, I'm going to be just as supportive because I want to see this place pick back up again!

As far as the poll goes, Izzmeister, it seems like it's apparent that the guys want a change. How we go about that change, still needs to be decided. And of course, it's not like we can just change the mod.

Either:

A) Micro realizes the desires of the board and steps down, and hands the reigns over to the newly-voted mod.

OR

B) We message the Admins requesting a change and see what happens.


As others have said, I have nothing personal against Micro. I don't think anyone does. I just think he got put into a situation where he just couldn't handle it. But, it's just not right for the leader of a board to be as inactive for as long as he has.

Whatever happens, as long as we're all on the same page and want to see this place turn around: I'm in.

Yeah, I’m gonna have to give myself more credit, lol! No, really, I always appreciate when my efforts and general input are appreciated by others, especially since WCM is so out of the usual as far as the traditional pic fed format goes.

I have changed my stance a lot since the last drama burst and subsequent shutting down of the Chat thread, mostly dedicating myself to post shows and reply just to the stuff/shows/comments I like and generally avoiding all drama/trolling/fighting.

Following such a model, who is or not Mod should not really affect me, but I have got the general feel that people around here want change, so why not bring the subject up and see what comes of it? If nothing, it’s a pure exercise in democracy and freedom of speech (with no drama/fighting/trolling involved).

Some people don’t like a non-Mod being in charge of a PPV Joint Event and I must agree, because the joint events are one of those rare situations where a Mod can be proactive and make things happen, and the whole effect gets diluted and watered down if anybody can do it. It’s not that people are bothered by the guy that’s doing it; they are bothered with the Mod that is not doing it.

All we have to do is look back at Halloween Havok and how that PPV turned out and compare it to the ones that followed, what variables did we have back then that made it such a hit, versus what’s going on now, when we are going into yet another PPV when the last one actually got CANCELLED without anybody actually finding out it had been CANCELLED in the first place?

Well, I hear the call for change and honestly....No offense taken here. I know I haven't been active lately, more like lurking around. I either have all the time in the world or none at all. This year has definitely been more of the latter and this board deserves better. I understand Stinger's sentiments, regarding life getting too hectic sometimes, when he chose to step down. So even I have to vote a Yes against myself. Hopefully, I'll have more free time to do more soon and I can still contribute here without being a mod!

Well, based on what I see here, it looks like Stinger is the best candidate right now to take back the reins! I was also debating between Izzy or Stinger today and I'm glad both have expressed their wants here...It makes the choice easier. So...I'll go to the Mod's board and start the process of stepping down soon. Just a head's up, it might take me a couple of days due to a few reasons...

1. I'm about to travel over 1,000 miles to get back home and that will take up an entire day, not to mention all the last-minute packing I have to do in the next 16 hours!

2. I really want to set up the sign-up topic for Freedomania, as my last official act, and hopefully host it!
