Okay, so it's been talked about before a few times here and there, but no real answer has been said.
If Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels for the WWE Title had taken place at Wrestlemania 13, then who would have "Stone Cold" Steve Austin worked with then??
The Undertaker maybe??
Does anyone have any idea in what would have happened, or think what would have happened.

Probably either Sid or The Undertaker. I've never thought about it before but that must have meant Bret would have won the Royal Rumble.

^ The Rumble that year went down as planned with the screw job finish. The 4-Way at the February In Your House was originally meant to determine the #1 contender (which Bret would have won and then faced HBK) but after HBK vacated the title the match was changed to being for the title itself. They then decided to continue the Hart/Austin feud and thus the steel cage match on RAW with Sid, though I do sometimes wonder why they didnt just have Bret vs Austin be for the title. Id assume they thought Austin still wasnt quite at the level to main event Mania, so they gave the headliner to Taker and Sid.
Had we seen Bret vs HBK at Mania13, I too would think Austin would have faced Undertaker or Sid, or maybe both in a 3-way for the #1 contendership?

Probably Taker.
They were hinting at a feud with them starting at the Final Four PPV when Austin cost Taker the victory by his constant interference.

I would figure it would be Taker. Which means there is a big chance had Shawn not "Lost his smile" that we would not have the illustrious "streak"

I always thought it would be UT or Vader to be honest.........or maybe both as mentioned in a triple threat for the shot at the next IYH.

Hart-Michaels (World Title) Taker-Sid (Match that should have taken place at WM8) Austin-Miavia (IC Title) [Gives Austin a title run earlier then he would have gotten as well as put him in a decent match)
Then the rest of the card stays the same. Basically you substitute The Sultan for Shawn Michaels.

yeah very true AF......Nash was going to go over Taker because they wanted him to be unstoppable by the time he got to HBK.
in fairness they still did a good job with this.

I'd have liked to have seen a triple threat, Austin vs. Bret vs. HBK. Something about that match I think would have been cool to see.
But in this scenario, the only logical opponent would have been Undertaker. Austin was technically a heel so it wouldn't have made a whole lot of sense to go up against Sid. Otherwise, I can't figure out another logical opponent for him if you look at the storylines from the time.
