Despite speculation that he would be demoted following his 60 day suspension, The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Randy Orton is expected to be pushed back into the main event picture in WWE when he returns, as the company doesn't feel Sheamus is strong enough yet to carry the Smackdown brand as the top baby face. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- haha WOW.  |

Orton is a bore, but so is shamus. Need to put the strap on bryan The only thing interesting about Daniel Bryan is his loss of skin pigmentation. Not surprised that Orton will be at the top of Smackdowns roster, and running with the World Title, but I do not see him holding the WWE title anytime soon. |

I don't wanna see Orton as the world champion , he has been a world champion too many times. How long's it been since he's been champion? He lost it to Henry at NOC last year. He was still the top face on SD. You can be top face and not be champion. Where does article say he'll take the title from Sheamus the second he gets back? |

Ridiculous. Just shows the top stars are damn near untouchable in WWE. I was hoping that he was in legit trouble of losing his spot with the company, but as usual it seems Vince places priority on a healthy bottom line than he does the good of the company.

Orton just doesn't interest me if he's not a heel. Don't know why. I used to love him, even back in the Evolution days but now I don't miss him if he's not there.

I read somewhere that this was the plan for Summerslam before Orton was suspended. Think WWE shouldn't be rewarding him, but it's not the first time they have done this with somebody returning from a suspension (Jeff Hardy in 2008).

Orton is so bland. I wish they would have released him.
Not that I want him to be gone for good. I think it'd be good if he got released and then came back in about three years with a different character.
Sheamus isn't too great either, but I'd prefer him over Orton. They act like Orton is so over with the crowd, when he really isn't as over as they think.
