Bruno Sammartino in 2013 HOF?

To be honest, Bruno has said A LOT of things in interviews regarding the WWE HOF. In one interview, Bruno called the WWE HOF a joke but in another interview, he said he would consider going into the WWE HOF IF they cleaned up their TV-14 product {Well the product has been PG now for 2-3 years so I don't know how much cleaner it could get unless it goes back to WWF 1980s g-rated product, a product he called "Garbage"}.

I get Bruno is upset with Vince McMahon with regards to how he changed the industry of professional wrestling and a lot of the old school board members on the Kayfabe Memories message board applaud Bruno for sticking to his guns.

But at the same time, Bruno needs to realize that if Vince hadn't done what he did in the 1980s, then another promoter would've eventually done it.

In addition, I know Bruno feels Vince used his son, David, as a pawn to keep Bruno wrestling in sporadically in specific markets {such as Boston Garden, MSG, Spectrum}. On the flip side though, I don't see how Bruno can hold Vince responsible for the riff between him and David that Mark Madden created.

For those who don't know, Mark Madden interviewed David Sammartino for a steroids article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in 1991 and David told Madden that not only did he do steroids from 1981-89, but that Bruno knew about it and tried to discourage from taking them. He went on to say that him and his brother Darryl used steroids despite Bruno writing in his autobiography that his sons never took steroids.

Bruno denied David's allegation and said not only did Darryl not use steroids but that David just said those things to hurt him.

Tell me again how that is Vince McMahon's fault again?
