So Elite 17 has been announced, bit suprised they didn't wait for SDCC but glad to know what's coming. I predicted 3 out of the 6 figures in this series in Cena, Ryder and Kofi. Can't wait to get the Mankind figure too!! I'm hoping an Elite Diva version is of a better standard than the basic headscan and I think the Sheamus figure will be based on his RR12 attire. Bring on September!!  |

Interesting choices, not really looking forward to this series for sure. All are an easy pass with the exception of Mick. Like most though I might have a change of heart if a majority of these feature new molds. Kofi is due for a new scan and Cenas shorts new to be re-sized already! I was not impressed with Ryder's latest head scan and I don't collect Divas so KK is an easy pass for me. As for Sheamus… eh. We will see come SDCC.

I don't mind which version of Mankind it is, I'd love for it to be both 1996 debut and 1999-2000 era versions but there isn't two variants which is disappointing!! I imagine KK will come with a painted silver/pink Divas title, might get her, only if they will be doing more Elite Diva's in the futute such as Phoenix, Eve and Kharma!!

...I'm a bit disappointed the first Elite Diva will be Kelly Kelly - especially as we've just had an updated Basic Kelly  . I'd have preferred someone brand-new like Kharma or Tamina Snuka... |

This is what I want from the series;
John Cena- Rise Above Hate gear. Hoping they don't release those "OK" hands
Zack Ryder- Not too familiar with Ryder attires. I wouldn't mind his nasty boys gear though with removable headband
Kofi Kingston- Matching attire to Evan Bourne and VUM tag title
Mankind- If we're only getting 1 version of him then I'd like the shirt/tie combo but if we're going to get a few different versions then a debut mankind would be cool.
Kelly Kelly- VUM Divas title. I hope they add some knee articulation or something to make it worth an elite spot
Sheamus- T-shirt, logos on knee pads

I play with figues sometimes for the heck of it, and I will start pic feds soon, I think he should have switchable hands, or no OK hands. If it comes with only OK hands, then I will have to buy a basic Camo Cena, and do an armswap. I love getting one of each attire for Cena released in Elite line. Oh well. |
