I noticed we're getting yet another Elite Cena (  ) and it got me to thinking, is there a new up-to-date scheduled soon? He has been back since December, with virtually the same attire (only minor changes) so what exactly is the hold up? They made so many unmasked Kanes, and some decent classic masked Kanes, but I feel it's time for a new one. Hell, even Mark Henry is getting another figure.. |

Probably having a problem with the predator mask or something. I rather Mattel take their time and get it right.

They have to create his new sculpt, which takes between 9 months to a full year, I believe. We'll probably get him by Christmas.

It's easier for Mattel to make a Rise Above Hate John Cena than it is for them to make Kane. Some of you don't understand simple logic. I'm sure we will have a masked Kane before the year is over.

Mattel have said we're getting Kane in his new gear by the end of the year. Probably Elite 18 or 19.

It's True, It's True. It is much easier for Mattel to make another Cena, but I too would have rather seen Swagger, Jericho, or Santino be in his place. These guys are long overdue for another Elite, but of course Swaggers excuse could be not enough TV time even though we haven't seen Rey Mysterio in months ande I am confident he'll show up in Elite 18.

We are definitely due. Seeing Jericho lined up in the newest basic assortment hints to this. Kane returned over a month before jericho and as confirmed by the design team, planning for his figure commenced immediately. As the new jericho is coming out before kane, they are obviously up to that time period and the kane would presumably be due out after the jericho because of the complexity in creating new moulds and headscans and dealing with more complicated deco than a simple jericho. I reckon we will see his earlier resurrected attire in lines first and maybe his current one in that BAF set.
Im so keen to see them finally show of both basic and elite versions of hopefully both his attires. Its been a long while since hes been back and is the biggest gaping hole in the roster in figures.
Theres no doubt they are on their way though, mattel will make a lot of them im sure.

matty needs to become more involved(and thusly, current) in the changes happening in the wwe. they completely missed an incredible opportunity by being late on getting nexus out. punk's been champ for a while now and we haven't seen him with the belt. kane and jericho have been back a while and they don't need much alterations from what they've already made.
i really don't understand the slowness with matty getting new stuff out. 1 year from idea to shelves seems waaaaaaay too long. especially when the bulk of what they're making is, effectively, a repaint.

We're just now getting MITB 2011 CM Punk elite. It takes them the majority of a year to make a figure. Sorry dude, but I wouldn't expect a new Kane until late 2012 maybe even 2013.
