We are due for tons of stuff it's just Mattel pacing... I mean we finally got a post Nexus Punk after almost an entire year. No surprise considering thats how long it usually takes for an Elite figure.

matty needs to become more involved(and thusly, current) in the changes happening in the wwe. they completely missed an incredible opportunity by being late on getting nexus out. punk's been champ for a while now and we haven't seen him with the belt. kane and jericho have been back a while and they don't need much alterations from what they've already made. ... What? It's a whole new figure being made from scratch compared to his other ones. Different mask, different glove, possibly moulded detail on his gear, probably a new scan to boot. They can't do all that and get him onto shelves in 6 months.

That is still very very incorrect. You made a one-off that was hand done. Replicating it for more than 10,000 units at minimum is a different story. Not only do they need to design the moulds and deco by hand, its then got to be translated into a manufacturable product. The time it takes from not just conceptualisation but to tooling and ensuring quality is a completely different story. The machine could pump out the parts in a matter of seconds, the paint machine can apply the paint in a matter of seconds but getting to this point is FAR more complicated and lengthy than you are suggesting especially when considering the amount of checks, approvals and quality checks it must undergo. Manufacturing is not that easy that you could compare production of several thousand units to a one-off. Also who knows, they may be moulding the tubing on his original attire though id say the most difficulty is in the removable mask. They told us that more complicated accessories require a much longer time until it reaches shelves.

I've heard some dumb stuff on here, but this might take the cake. You clearly have no understanding of the process involved in making mass market toys.
